Yazidis plead with Canada not to repatriate Murderous Scum ISIS members

The looming return of alleged ISIS members to Canada has brought trauma, worry and fear to people who were invited to Canada as a safe haven after the terrorist group all but destroyed their ancient community in northern Iraq.

“When I first heard the news, I felt the strength leave my body,” Huda Ilyas Alhamad told CBC News in her Winnipeg apartment. She is one of 1,200 survivors of the Yazidi genocide who were resettled in Canada; she spent years as a slave of ISIS members.

“I had to sit down right away. I was heartbroken and terrified at the same time because on one hand they had promised to protect us and bring us here and give us safety, and on the other hand they’re offering that same entryway for these very people who raped and tortured us on a daily basis.”

Majority of affordable homes approved under federal program not yet constructed

Fuck Trudeau starter home.

OTTAWA — The federal government has set aside billions of dollars to quickly build affordable housing across the country, but delays in construction suggest many of the projects approved for funding are missing their deadlines.

The Rapid Housing Initiative is a federal program launched in 2020 that provides funding to cities and non-profit organizations to build affordable homes for vulnerable Canadians, including those experiencing homelessness.

Not enough immigration, that must be the problem.

What Happened to Canada’s Cold War Relics?

The living would truly envy the dead. CBC had a studio in the Diefenbunker.

Few of the sites built to protect Canadians from a radioactive cloud of destruction have been preserved.

Recently I made several trips to the Diefenbunker, the underground complex in the village of Carp, Ontario, that — assuming everything went to plan — would preserve Canada’s political and military leadership when nuclear warheads fell from the skies. Those plans, as I wrote in an article published this week, relied heavily on wishful thinking.

Illegal crossings at ‘freezing’ Canadian border surge as migrants flee Trudeaupia

Border Patrol agents in New York, Vermont and New Hampshire apprehended more people illegally entering the US from Canada in the last three months than than in the previous two years combined amid the country’s migrant influx.

Officials in the federal agency’s eastern Swanton Sector saw a 743% increase in apprehensions and encounters between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 compared to the same period last year, sector chief, Robert Garcia said last week, according to a press release.

Canadian theater sparks outrage after announcing black-only performances

A taxpayer-funded Canadian theater organization has sparked outrage after announcing an event that will only allow “Black-identifying audiences” to attend.

The National Arts Centre in Ottawa is putting on a “Black Out” night at its Babs Asper Theatre on Feb. 17 — the middle of Black History Month — for the performance of “Is God Is,” a play written by and starring Black women.

“A Black Out is an open invitation to Black-identifying audiences to come and experience performances with their community,” the theater announced earlier this month.

Confessions of a shoplifter: As food costs soar and self-checkouts multiply, more people are stealing — and they’re not sorry

Tony has been shoplifting most of his food and he feels no guilt.

“I shoplift 80 per cent of my groceries,” the Toronto-based 32-year-old said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Since moving to the city from North York two years ago, his monthly pay of

$2,000 isn’t enough to live on amid rising costs, he said, and he’s struggling to pay the bills.

Shoplifting — theft under $5,000 — is a criminal offence in Canada. But that hasn’t deterred Tony, who feels that stealing from big supermarket chains to survive should not be a crime.

Jihadi Jack Lett’s Mommy Is Thrilled Canada Is Such A Stupid Country

Mother of Canadian man detained in Syria ‘thrilled’ with Ottawa’s decision to repatriate him

Mom’s so proud.

The mother of a Canadian man who has spent years detained in northeast Syria on suspicion of having joined the Islamic State says she is thrilled with a judge’s decision to order the federal government to bring her son to Canada, though when the two will be reunited is still uncertain.

Sally Lane moved to Ottawa from Britain three years ago as she campaigned for the release and return of her son, Jack Letts.

13 Migrants from Mexico and Vietnam caught trying to flee Trudeau’s dystopian hell hole for U.S.

American agents arrest 13 from Mexico and Vietnam trying to enter U.S. from New Brunswick

American officials say Border Patrol agents in Maine recently accused 13 foreign nationals – seven adults from Mexico and six from Vietnam – of illegally entering the United States from two locations in western New Brunswick.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency issued a statement Thursday saying human smuggling along the Maine-New Brunswick border may not be as big a problem as elsewhere along the U.S. border, but this “transnational criminal activity” is cause for concern.

Trailblazer: Canada’s Trudeau Appoints ‘Special Representative for Fighting Islamophobia’

Justin “Fidelito” Trudeau has once again shown himself to be among the cutting-edge Leftist leaders of the world and set an example for Canada’s neighboring colossus to the south by appointing the Canadian government’s first-ever “special representative for fighting Islamophobia.” What a relief, eh, that a government is finally tackling this phenomenon with the full power of the state! The only problem is that the record of such programs, at least in the United States, generally shows that when the government vows to stamp out something, it creates more of it instead. Remember the War on Poverty? The War on Drugs? Canada’s new war on “Islamophobia” is unlikely to be different.

OTTAWA—Duelling speeches from the leaders of the governing and official opposition parties made it crystal clear Friday how each intend to attack the other when federal lawmakers head back to Parliament next week.

Here’s a comparative look at how Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre threw down their gauntlets in speeches to their caucuses in Ottawa.

‘Tip of the iceberg’: why abuse in Canadian sport is worse than it seems

Canada’s government is under pressure to launch an independent judicial inquiry into abuse in sport during a series of parliamentary committees in the country’s House of Commons following harrowing testimonies by abuse survivors in December.

Appeals for a widespread inquiry into abuse from athletes, politicians, and academics have so far been resisted by Justin Trudeau’s government and his Minister for Sport, Pascale St-Onge, sparking one senior member of the government to split from her party to demand “real leaders step up”.

Intelligence agency calls for a ‘heightened state of vigilance’ against Russian-aligned hacks

The agency that oversees cybersecurity for the federal government called for a “heightened state of vigilance” against the threat of retaliatory cyber attacks from Russia-aligned hackers on Thursday — just hours after Ottawa promised to give Ukraine four Leopard 2 A4 main battle tanks.

The warning comes as Killnet, a group Canada and its allies list as a “Russian-aligned cybercrime group,” vows to go after countries that support Ukraine.

A spokesperson for the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) said the agency “is aware of reporting regarding an increase in Russian state-aligned hacktivist groups seeking to compromise or disrupt Ukrainian-aligned allies, in response to their continued support of the government of Ukraine.”
