Huawei lawyers claim emails prove US has no grounds to extradite CFO from Canada

US justice department’s battle to extradite Meng Wanzhou from Canada has taken a fresh turn as lawyers for Huawei’s chief financial officer claimed that internal emails and bank documents prove there is no grounds to extradite her to the US.

Meng, 48, was arrested on a US warrant at Vancouver airport in late 2018, and has been battling extradition to the US. Her detention infuriated the Chinese government and has helped drag relations between Beijing and Ottawa to their lowest point in years.

A Muslim former intelligence officer says systemic racism at CSIS is a threat to national security

A Muslim woman who worked as a senior intelligence officer at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service said the systemic racism and lack of diversity she experienced firsthand at CSIS constitute a national security threat — especially in light of a recent deadly attack on a Canadian Muslim family.

Huda Mukbil, a hijab-wearing Arabic-speaker, said she was treated as an insider threat and interrogated about her religion during her 15-year career at CSIS.

Mukbil said she was forced to cut ties with Muslim organizations, ostracized at work and treated like a second-class citizen. She left the intelligence agency in 2017 after helping to launch a civil lawsuit against CSIS over claims of discrimination.

Liberals say by 2035 all new cars, light-duty trucks sold in Canada will be electric … Cue Sad Laughter – Five Asian countries to build 600 new coal power units

The Liberal government announced Tuesday it’s speeding up its goal for when it wants to see every new light-duty vehicle sold in Canada to be electric.

Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said that by 2035, all new cars and light-duty trucks sold in the country will be zero-emission vehicles.

Until now, the government had set 2040 as the target for when it wants to see all passenger vehicles sold to be powered by this technology as opposed to petroleum.

They’re laughing at us.

Five Asian countries account for 80% of new coal power investment

Five Asian countries are jeopardising global climate ambitions by investing in 80% of the world’s planned new coal plants, according to a report.

Carbon Tracker, a financial thinktank, has found that China, India, Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam plan to build more than 600 coal power units, even though renewable energy is cheaper than most new coal plants.

The investments in one of the most environmentally damaging sources of energy could generate a total of 300 gigawatts of energy – enough to power the UK more than three times over – despite calls from climate experts at the UN for all new coal plants to be cancelled.

Dangerous Canada-China Virus Scandal Being Covered-Up Says Media Watchdog

According to Vision Times media, “America’s neighbours to the North are quietly trying to keep the lid on a dangerous virologic scandal of their own between Canada’s BSL4 lab and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

Regarding a secret agreement between Canada’s BSL4 lab and the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, Conservative Party Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs Michael Chong stated the following:

“We live in a parliamentary democracy and we are facing the same impediments to our investigations as investigators are facing as they attempt to discover the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic in China.”

Enter Cultural Action Party commentary: the idea that Canadians are in 2021 living in a parliamentary democracy is dubious at best. Yes, it appears that we are. Yes, government and media say that we are. But this doesn’t make it true.

The condition of governance in contemporary Canada is best described as a pseudo-dictatorship. At least in CAP’s opinion, the Liberals are going to win every future election in succession until their goal is accomplished– an end to the purpose of federal elections.

Is Canada Re-Embracing Historic Technocracy?

The level of meticulous detail in this article shows the author’s deep understanding of Technocracy, its history and its claims. He sees the modern attraction of libertarian thinking among technocrats and acknowledges the growth or Technocracy while alluding to Technopopulism: “While the number of technocrats in government is on the rise, so, too, is the number of populist politicians who wear their lack of expertise like a badge of honour.”

Unsealed documents show RCMP intends to charge captured ISIS fighter

Senate appointment imminent.

Court documents unsealed last week reveal that the RCMP intends to charge a Canadian ISIS foreign fighter with a string of terrorism offences.

Since his capture by U.S.-backed Kurdish forces in January 2019, Mohammed Khalifa, a self-confessed ISIS fighter from Toronto, has been held at a prison in northeastern Syria.

An affidavit classified as “top secret” but unsealed by an Ontario Superior Court judge last Tuesday reveals that the RCMP intends to charge Khalifa with four separate indictable offences, including participation in a known terrorist group — namely ISIS — and counselling others to commit a terrorism offence.

RCMP suspected person leaking secrets had high-level computer access, Ortis investigation search warrants show

The RCMP suspected someone senior in its ranks was offering to spill secrets, but still didn’t know the identity of the alleged leaker for several months after they first learned highly confidential information about investigations had been compromised.

The revelation is contained in court documents unsealed late last week at the request of The Fifth Estate.

The documents suggest investigators ultimately focused on a small group who had access to sensitive information stored on an RCMP server “controlled by the RCMP National Intelligence Co-ordination Centre,” and “access to its files is limited to select authorized employees of the RCMP.”

Canada bans gatherings to stop “misinformation,” It’s not about health!

Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), was arrested last Friday after speaking at an anti-lockdown protest in St-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba. He was arrested for violating provincial health orders, which prohibit indoor and outdoor gatherings on both public and private property and mandate 14 days of self-isolation for anyone entering the province.

He was sent a letter in advance advising him that he was not allowed to what was a small rally. Canada is talking about vaccine passports.

Canada is banning gatherings, not for health, but to reduce a “misinformation campaign.” Canada is a totalitarian nation under Trudeau.
