National Citizens Coalition urges Blood Sucking Corporate Cheap Foreign Labour Parasites to ‘Hire Canadian’ as youth job market hits crisis point

The National Citizens Coalition is calling on Canadian employers to prioritize hiring domestic workers as youth unemployment reaches its highest level in two decades and immigration levels continue to surge.

Alexander Brown, communications director for the coalition, said federal inaction on immigration reform has worsened employment prospects for young Canadians, who are now facing the worst summer job market in a generation.

Carney’s success hinges on effective caucus management, but he has struggled so far, say some Liberal MPs

The current 169-member Liberal caucus is largely made up of seasoned MPs who have recently experienced political upheaval in ousting Justin Trudeau, and for Mark Carney to succeed as prime minister, he must ensure his MPs have direct and consistent access to him and are treated fairly in cabinet promotions, say Liberal MPs.

In interviews with The Hill Times, Liberal MPs, who did not want to be identified, pointed out that in 2015, Trudeau inherited an almost brand new caucus, with most members newly elected and grateful to be in the House. Almost no one raised any concerns about not getting promotions to cabinet, and Trudeau effectively shaped their understanding of parliamentary conduct. Having spent more than a decade in Parliament, members from the class of 2015 and earlier now see themselves as potential cabinet ministers—a dynamic not uncommon in long-governing parties, which makes it a challenge to manage the caucus effectively.

Michael Bonner: It’s time to totally overhaul Canada’s immigration system

So many people want to immigrate to Canada that we can hardly accommodate them all. Our big cities feel cramped, social services are strained, and homeownership is increasingly out of reach for those below the age of 40.

But perhaps the surest proof of too many newcomers is this: 18 percent of all immigrants leave Canada within 25 years and don’t return. Surprisingly, half of those who leave are economic immigrants who were selected because they had skills that our country needs and because they had secured high-wage jobs before arriving here. This phenomenon was analyzed in a 2024 study by the Conference Board of Canada called “The Leaky Bucket.” The study concluded that so many immigrants leave because they have not formed a permanent economic or cultural attachment to Canada, they find better opportunities elsewhere, and the number of annual departures is growing.

Just before the election, Liberals handed out 411 cheques worth $3.86B

In the week before the 45th general election got underway on March 23, Liberal MPs engaged in a pre-election spending blitz, announcing $3.86 billion in funding commitments for 411 different projects across the country, a Global News analysis shows.

Press releases and announcements about those funding commitments were made by 38 different Liberal MPs in that final week, who handed out cheques in 37 different communities across the country, from Yellowknife to Winnipeg to St. John’s.

‘Nation-building projects’ the new ‘Liberal Party Slush Fund’

PM wants provinces to compete for federal approval of ‘nation-building projects’

There was cautious optimism in the air as provincial and territorial premiers began arriving in Saskatoon to meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The first ministers are meeting on Monday, and Carney has said he wants to hear provincial ideas for “nation-building projects.” The premiers and other stakeholders joined Carney for a reception on Sunday night, and the tone ahead of the event seemed fairly optimistic.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith — who has been pushing for Ottawa to meet a number of her government’s conditions to move projects forward — met with Carney during the Sunday night event.

Ottawa and Carney must get serious and listen to the West

If Prime Minister Mark Carney doesn’t listen to the West, it’s going to cost Canada.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe are demanding that Ottawa stop stomping on their provinces’ natural resource production.

Smith is telling Carney to scrap the “no more pipelines” law, Bill C-69, lift the cap on Alberta’s energy and cancel the looming ban on the sale of new gasoline and diesel vehicles.

THOMAS: Hopes of solving housing crisis fade as 817,000 immigrants arrive in Canada

It’s obvious the federal Liberals are not serious about solving Canada’s housing crisis.

Liberals embrace ‘governing-by-crisis’.

A crisis is a great way to get Canadians to pay attention to the Liberals’ policies and platforms. Once they have the attention of the electorate, they make massive promises to attack the ‘crisis’ with every weapon they can find, which usually is pissing away taxpayers’ dollars on ineffective programs.

The only thing Carney and his crony Mark Wiseman are interested in is turning Canada into a 3rd World Shithole state from which they will both profit handsomely.

Canadian diplomat says West Africa terror threat has grown since his capture

A Canadian diplomat who was held captive by al-Qaida terrorists in the Sahara Desert for 130 days says Canada’s promised boost to defence should include commitments to combatting the growing Islamic terrorism threat in Africa — a threat he says isn’t getting the attention it deserves.

Robert Fowler says it would take “a very large and serious effort to eradicate” the groups that have taken root in West Africa’s Sahel region — particularly Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali — and that U.S. military officials say are fighting to gain access to the western coast, which would increase their ability to attack North America.

“Canada” will not do anything to offend the LPC’s Muslim vote bloc. It’s a waste of time to even have this sort of conversation given Canada is not a serious nation.

Vivian Bercovici: Carney offers nothing but empty words on protecting Jews, furthering Mideast peace

SDEROT, Israel — Wednesday marked 600 days since the Hamas attack on Israel. War still rages, civilians suffer and die, hostages languish and no end is in sight.

In recent weeks, demands from even the staunchest allies of Israel, including the United States, have been mounting — demands for Israel to allow greater supplies of humanitarian aid to flow into the Strip, demands to end the war.

Can Mark Carney defeat Canadian populism?

Speaking to reporters after the speech from the throne on Tuesday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre struck a decidedly institutionalist tone.

“We joined today in thanking His Majesty for coming to Canada and delivering the throne speech, reinforcing our ancient, great British liberties,” he said. “A parliamentary system that goes back 800 years. A system that has served Canada well and has been the foundation of what I love to call the Canadian promise.”

A Conservative praising the monarch might not seem unusual. Former foreign affairs minister John Baird, a close ally of Poilievre’s, once demanded that his department hang a portrait of the Queen in the foyer of its headquarters.

So far Carney has kept the LPC tradition of lying intact, about Orange Man, about Housing, about spending, about immigration, about China etc etc etc…

Populism will kill him.

Conrad Black: Carney continues on a path of mindless globalism

It was a gracious gesture for King Charles III and Queen Camilla to come to Ottawa for 24 hours to open Parliament and symbolize Canada‘s close relations with the United Kingdom and other senior Commonwealth nations, but the speech from the throne was so general, we might have reserved the distinction of Their Majesties’ presence for a more substantive policymaking occasion. There was a pledge to make housing more affordable many years after what should have been the starting date for such a policy before millions of otherwise welcome immigrants were admitted to the country, furthering an acute housing shortage among Canadians of modest income. It was also good to hear the King state, on behalf of the federal government, the determination to protect and advance the rights of all Canadians. It would have been useful and pleasing to know if this included a departure from the federal government’s policy of passivity toward Quebec’s suppression of the English language in that province.

Carney’s thoughts on energy promise a difficult four years

After Justin Trudeau, we now have a new Liberal prime minister who is also ardently net zero, but more cunning and better connected to the global eco-zealotry establishment.

Former prime minister Justin Trudeau’s carbon taxes, EV subsidies and net zero targets are without a doubt the key factor in Canada’s anemic GDP and doubling of the national debt.

Now we have a new Liberal prime minister who is also ardently net zero, but more cunning and better connected to the global eco-zealotry establishment.

Mark Carney has served as co-chair of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) and UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance.

BRIAN: A deeper look at Canada’s new leader, Mark Carney

‘We will miss Justin Trudeau.’

With new Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney now in charge of the Great White North, many around the world are looking more closely at his beliefs and pedigree.

An alum of Goldman Sachs and former head of the Bank of England, Carney has been heralded by Canada’s dominant centre-left voices in the media as a national saviour. If he were a black woman or transgender, one wouldn’t have been surprised to see shrines and worship services to the Great Leader take place during his campaign.

Gov’t Shill On Tax Payer Teat Says Keep Immigration Coming! That 100 Million Target is A Swell Idea!

Keep Immigration Coming

I’ve spent my entire life moving around the country. I grew up in a military family, and continued the habit of moving every few years into adulthood. At this point, I’ve lived or worked in eight of Canada’s 10 largest cities and every province west of the Maritimes. As a public policy generalist, I similarly move from one file to the next, whether that’s economic policy in the Prairies, housing policy in Canada’s big cities or industrial policy all over. No matter which area I’m working on, immigration is part of the conversation— and with good reason.

Canada is well on pace to hit 100 million Canadians by 2100; that’s a positive thing. Population growth allows for greater economies of scale to tap our natural resources. It attracts the best and the brightest from around the world to spur innovation and cultural diversity. And one increasingly relevant upside is that rapid growth affords smaller countries some much-needed geopolitical heft. At 41 million people, Canada is still a relatively modest country in a highly unstable world (for now, at least). And with America becoming a less reliable partner, we’ll have to stand on our own two feet. Having more people would give us a lot more clout in a world where it’s easy for the large to push around the small.

This is the sort of propaganda that Carney and his pal Mark “!00 Million Unvetted Immigrants” Wiseman are producing to convince you that turning Canada into a 3rd World Shithole for their profit is a swell idea.

All paid for with your tax dollars as both the Institute for Research on Public Policy and Maclean’s Magazine are on the public teat.
