Immigration could soon account for all of Canada’s population growth: expert

OTTAWA — With Canada’s population growth now essentially flat, the country could be heading toward an unprecedented situation where population growth is driven entirely by immigration, one expert says.

Based on the federal government’s latest Immigration Levels Plan, the parliamentary budget officer projects 2026 will be Canada’s second consecutive year of zero population growth.

They’re selling the same BS in order to justify Canada being converted into a 3rd World Dumpster.

We need migrants to create housing demand or else no one will build new inventory and the economy will stagnate and rents will go up!

What they really want is imported tribal vote blocs, depressed wages and the protection of their real estate equity not to mention the opportunity to profit from the shortages mass immigration creates.

Carney should call for extradition of Indian officials linked to Nijjar killing, says ex-Liberal minister Dhaliwal

A former Liberal cabinet minister and prominent Sikh-Canadian is calling for Prime Minister Mark Carney to urge for the extradition of Indian officials in relation to the 2023 killing of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

In an interview with The Hill Times, Herb Dhaliwal said he hopes the first item on Carney’s (Nepean, Ont.) agenda in India is “the full co-operation of the Indian government in the murder of a Canadian where Indian officials were involved,” as well as the discussion of extradition of Indian officials.

Instead we we get this crap …

Child poverty rising for third straight year in Canada, report says

Child poverty in Canada rose for a third consecutive year in 2025, with nearly 30,000 more children falling below the poverty line, according to the latest Child and Family Poverty Report Card.

The report says progress toward eliminating child poverty is not only stalling but reversing, with rates now approaching levels last seen in 2017, signalling an erosion of gains made after the introduction of the Canada Child Benefit in 2016.

No time for truth in this reset with India

Mark Carney left on a trip to India last Thursday but there has simply been no time to field reporters’ queries.

The Prime Minister cancelled the press conference scheduled for Monday, when embarrassing questions were to be posed, because his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ran long and his flight to Australia couldn’t be delayed and well, there was no time.

Oh no! Just when the PM was going to be asked if India is still involved in foreign interference in Canada, in the midst of a trip where he’s supposed to be patching up strained relations.

From rupture to rapture: The curious case of Carney’s endorsement of Trump’s war

“I just endorsed it a little”

In a move that surprised observers at home and abroad, Prime Minister Mark Carney issued this weekend an unqualified endorsement of U.S. President Donald Trump’s military attack on Iran. For a leader who has cultivated an image of sober, multilateral statesmanship, Carney’s decision to break with Europe—and with his own recently articulated foreign policy doctrine of middle power cooperation—begs the question of what exactly is Canada’s foreign policy almost one year into his premiership.

Paints a portrait of a very cynical Carney.

RETURN TO SENDER — 60 million more Indian immigrants? India’s dream is Canada’s nightmare

No, Canada will not take 60 million more Indians. Let’s send the 2.8 million we have back to India.

If you needed proof that the federal Liberals have completely lost the plot on immigration, look no further than the statements coming from India’s High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh K. Patnaik.

In a recent interview with CBC News, Patnaik suggested that because of our “complementary economies,” Canada should be eager to welcome an additional 60 million Indians.

Let that number sink in for a moment. Sixty million.

Why the Mexican cartels may soon turn to Canada to escape chaos after killing of Jalisco boss El Mencho

Canadians may need to brace themselves for violent Mexican drug cartels moving their operations north to escape the war on drugs in Mexico.

“There is a good, strong possibility of that,” former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent Charles Noonan said in an interview.

“Manufacturing in Canada makes sense,” Noonan said. “In the next six months to a year, you could see a surge in the drug labs.”

HILL: From proud nation to managed decline — the Canada I no longer recognize

Over a month ago, I decided to try writing a book. Other than hundreds of guest newspaper columns and myriad speeches on enumerable topics over the past forty years, I am not a writer. I have had no formal education to prepare me to undertake such a daunting task. Indeed, I only achieved a grade twelve diploma way back in 1970, largely due to the constant and unrelenting encouragement, and at times direct intervention, of my mother. Given this, you’d be forgiven for asking, why?

What could motivate someone like me to accept such a challenge?

Did Carney go too far in offering ‘support’ for U.S. strikes against Iran?

Every prime minister is called upon, at one point or another, to comment on the actions of an American president. For Mark Carney, still less than a year on the job, there have already been several such moments.

The latest moment of necessity arrived this past weekend, when the United States and Israel launched new attacks on Iran.

The response, a six-paragraph statement in the names of Carney and Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand, has raised questions with which the prime minister may have to wrestle.

Oh yes CBC Carney was far too harsh on the murderous Mullah regime!

But it wasn’t the first time the two men were instrumental in getting together for a major business deal.

Defence minister says Khamenei was a ‘force for evil,’ as divisions emerge among Liberals over backing of U.S. strikes

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — Canada’s defence minister says the Liberal party is a “big tent” as divisions emerge over its decision to back the U.S. strikes against Iran, calling its supreme leader who was killed in the assaults a “force for evil.”

David McGuinty travelled to Australia alongside Prime Minister Mark Carney on the second part of a three-part trip to India, Australia and Japan to drum up new investments into Canada. Carney is set over the next few days to meet with Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who also offered his support for the strikes.

Liberal MP criticizes Mark Carney’s support for U.S. attack on Iran

OTTAWA — A Liberal MP has broken ranks with Prime Minister Mark Carney over his support for deadly U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, arguing Canada “cannot endorse the unilateral and illegal use of military force” while insisting its own sovereignty must be respected.

Who???

In a weekend social media video that was “liked” by a handful of other Liberal MPs, rookie Victoria MP Will Greaves said Carney’s support for the strikes, which killed Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei and sparked an escalated Middle East conflict, “feels different” from the prime minister’s Davos declaration of a Canadian foreign policy rooted in “independence, consistency and principled pragmatism.”

I like how the Star picks a lone White guy when you know the LPC’s Muslim caucus is what drives the “dissent”

Carney to push his middle power strategy during Australia visit

Prime Minister Mark Carney has touched down on Tuesday in Sydney, Australia — the next stop on his Indo-Pacific tour aimed at shoring up investment in Canada and building new trade alliances.

On the agenda is a meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, a leader with whom Carney shares much common ground.

Carney will also address Australia’s parliament, becoming the first Canadian prime minister to do so in nearly 20 years. His remarks are expected to echo the themes of his widely noted speech in Davos, which urged “middle powers” to stand together.

Canada Right to Recognize Washington’s Just War

On the morning of Saturday, Feb. 28, we all awoke to an alarming development.

Addressing the world, the president of the United States revealed that joint military forces of the United States and Israel had begun a coordinated strike against the 47-year-old Islamic regime in Iran. In measured tones, President Trump explained that the operation had been launched in response to a clear and present danger posed by Iran’s continued nuclear ambitions and the regime’s longstanding support for terrorism against the West.
