Joe Adam George: From Toronto to Sydney, ISIS is still an active threat to the West

Prime Ministers Of Canada Carney & Elghawaby

Despite recent attacks and escalating risks, Islamist extremism is largely absent from Carney’s national security agenda

Last Friday, three men were arrested in Toronto and charged with hate-motivated extremism targeting women and members of the Jewish community. One of them, 26-year-old Waleed Khan, also faces terrorism charges linked to ISIS, an exceptionally violent Sunni jihadist group also known as the Islamic State. According to the RCMP, Khan allegedly conspired with “persons known and unknown” in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario to commit murder — a chilling indication that other extremist elements could be involved. It is the third ISIS-related arrest in Canada this year, following earlier cases in Montreal and Newmarket, bringing the total number of arrested suspects linked to the group since 2023 to 23.

BARBER: The Canadian Grinch who stole Christmas

Canadians are hurting this Christmas season. The London-based PwC reports findings from a mid-year survey that Canadians, in general, were planning to spend significantly less overall than last year on holidays. Gen Z, in particular, expects to cut holiday spending by 35%. Additionally, 45% of Canadians said they plan to shop more for used, upcycled, or resale items.

Is Canada’s population decline real, or a statistical mirage?

According to estimates released last week by Statistics Canada, the Carney government is making progress on one of its immigration goals – reversing the enormous run-up in the country’s temporary resident population.

However, though the government appears to be making headway in terms of lowering immigration numbers back to historical levels, it’s a very different story when it comes to raising quality.

Ottawa also needs to take steps to ensure that the population drop reported by Stastcan is real, and not a statistical mirage.

Yup it’s a mirage.

Opposition to Liberal bill that could criminalize quoting Scripture is gaining momentum

In a recent article, I wrote about Bill C-9, the Liberal government’s proposed “speech control law” – a muzzling of Christian expression that Ebenezer Scrooge would be proud of. Since that time, there have been some significant developments that I want to share with you.

The most important and encouraging news is the enormous groundswell of public outrage over this draconian proposal. Not only have we garnered nearly 5,000 signatures on our petition to stop Bill C-9, but many prominent politicians, public figures, as well as clergy and public-interest groups are voicing their opposition in the strongest of terms.

Carney names globalist pig Mark Wiseman who sought to swamp Canada with cheap 3rd world labour as next U.S. ambassador

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Mark Carney is appointing a global investment banker and pension fund manager to be Canada’s next ambassador in Washington.

Carney’s office says Mark Wiseman will take the role on Feb. 15, and he will be tasked with leading negotiations with the United States on the review of the continental free trade deal.

Wiseman is a longtime friend of Carney who was among the first to contribute to Carney’s leadership bid, donating the maximum $1,750 to that as well as an additional $1,750 to the Liberal party during last April’s election campaign.

I hope Trump’s team kicks his ass.

Canada spent $78 million deporting 18,000 people in 2024 — the most since Stephen Harper … in a very loose sense

Canada has spent more than $78 million deporting over 18,000 people in the 2024-25 fiscal year, the most since the government of Stephen Harper, according to data obtained by the Star from the Canada Border Services Agency.

The vast majority of those deported have been asylum seekers whose refugee claims have been rejected, the data says.

The surge comes as the federal government tightens immigration targets and limits new international student permits, a shift that experts say is likely to fuel a rise in deportations as hundreds of thousands of temporary residents face shrinking pathways to permanent status and as a “regularization program” for undocumented migrants, initially promised by the Trudeau government, remains stalled.

… The deportation level in 2024 was the highest since 2012, when more than 19,000 people were removed under Harper’s Conservative government. Deportations include all removals enforced in a given fiscal year, including refugee claimants as well as those living, working or studying in Canada who have overstayed their legal status.

The Star wants you to believe Carney is deporting failed asylum seekers at the same rate as Harper!

But the Star commits a sin of omission failing to point out Harper outperformed Carney by a huge margin based on the total number of asylum seekers each administration has faced.

Google AI – How many asylum seekers did Canada receive in the year 2024 vs. 2012?

In 2024, Canada received approximately 190,000 new asylum claims, a significant increase compared to the 20,500 applications received in 2012.

Bondi Beach shows Canadians can no longer shy away from the immigration debate

Canada’s post-October 7 antisemitism crisis mirrors Australia’s. It’s small wonder that the Bondi Beach Hanukkah pogrom is perceived by numerous Canadian observers as a bullet dodged.

If it had happened here, we would be sifting through the same forensic breadcrumbs that helped pave the road to Bondi: principles bent for Muslim votes, calculated tolerance for criminal activity directed against Jews and the demonization of Israel in high political and cultural places.

The question now is: what can we do to prevent such a tragedy in Canada?

FYI Barb some of us have been discussing Canada’s suicidal immigration policy for decades.

Canadian Prime Minister Carney bows down to terrorism

Does promoting a Palestinian Arab terror state constitute support for Israel or is it exactly bowing down to terrorism

When the history books are written will Canada be seen to stand with freedom-respecting nations or with totalitarian Islamist terrorists?

Anyone who promotes a Palestinian Arab state is in fact standing with Jihad and murder. It is clear that Canadian young people, like the Australians, are being mis-educated and the media is confused about the history of Israeli offers of land for a Palestinian Arab autonomy – which were met with increased terrorism as the jihadists were encouraged that they were getting closer to their genocidal goals.

Death by a Thousand Clicks: 6 Bills That Together Turn Canada Into a Police State

Freedom in Canada is dying slowly and gradually, not by a single fell swoop, but by a thousand cuts. How did the United Kingdom end up arresting thousands of its citizens (more than 30 per day) over their Facebook, X, and other social media posts? This Orwellian nightmare was achieved one small step at a time. No single step was deemed worthy of fierce and effective opposition by British citizens. The citizens of what was once a free nation adapted begrudgingly to the slow-but-steady elimination of their freedoms, including privacy and freedom from state surveillance.

Likewise in Canada, too few Canadians have spoken out against the federal government gradually taking over the internet through a series of bills with innocuous and even laudable titles.

Mark Carney’s journey from climate ‘visionary’ to pipeline promoter

Cowboy Carney

When Mark Carney arrived on the Canadian political stage, Richard Brooks’s colleagues sought out his professional opinion.

Would they be dealing in the Liberal prime minister with a friend of the environment or a foe?

Brooks, the head of climate finance with Canadian advocacy group Stand.Earth, has followed Carney’s meteoric rise over the last decade from staid central bank governor to global climate guru to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Watch what he does not what he says. He left plenty of ways to block his “pipeline”.

Canada’s Security Chief Met with Muslim Leader to Fight ‘Islamophobia.’ Then This Happened.

Dan Rogers, the head of Canada’s Center for Strategic and International Studies, had a friendly meeting recently with the CEO of the National Council of Canadian Muslims, Stephen Brown. They got together to discuss ways that the Canadian government could combat “Islamophobia,” but for Rogers, the timing of this meeting was not just bad; it was catastrophic.

SMOL: Time for a grown-up conversation about Mark and Jennie’s Canadian citizen-militia

It has taken me a while to absorb the recent proposal by the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Jennie Carigan, clearly supported by Prime Minister Mark Carney, to raise a 300,000-strong “citizen militia” in peacetime.

The proposal suggests this would be built initially on a cadre of civil servants given a week’s military training to prepare for war.

Canada cancels intake for two economic immigration programs

Ottawa is cancelling the intakes of two economic immigration programs in its attempt to manage backlogs and reduce immigration levels.

On Friday, the Immigration Department said it will stop accepting new applications for the Start-Up Visa program — Canada’s only business immigration program — beginning on Jan. 1. Officials will also immediately pause the intake of the Home Care Worker Immigration pilots until further notice.

More Liberal media BS? Is this the real reason the “caregiver” program is being shut down?

CBC Exposes The Same Dozen Neo-Nazis Over and Over Again

‘The Nazis were right’: What the leaders of Canada’s biggest ‘nationalist’ group really want

The leaders of the country’s biggest white nationalist group believe that “the Nazis were right,” that a violent “race war” for Canada’s future is underway and that non-white people should be deported en masse “at gunpoint,” according to an analysis by the CBC’s visual investigations unit.

Second Sons Canada calls itself a “men’s nationalist club” dedicated to “health and fitness, camaraderie, activism and friendly support for those who share our values.” Official posts on Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and X show men gathering to train or to demonstrate, promoting the slogan “remigration now” and celebrating veterans and Canadian history.

It’s not about a dozen Neo-Nazis. CBC Palestine appears to be trying to stigmatize “Remigration”. Screw them we own it.

Anti-immigrant sentiment rises with loss of consensus on immigration policy

OTTAWA — Canada’s long-held consensus on immigration — that it’s a net positive for the country — has been coming apart in recent years.

Roughly half of the population thinks too many immigrants have been coming to Canada, according to several private polling firms.

That parallels a government survey from November 2024, when 54 per cent of respondents to a phone survey conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada said “too many” immigrants were coming to Canada.

It’s not “anti-immigrant” to fight back when your country is being stolen from under your feet, when you can’t buy a home, afford rent or even find a job because the elites profit from the cheap foreign labour they import.

It’s called self-defense and it’s not racist.

The Liberals are cooking the books and actually staying on track to nearly meet Trudeaus nation killing goals.
