Bob Vylan and the rise of ayatollah chic

We’ve all been there. You rock up to speak at a demonstration, intending to lend your voice to the oppressed and the downtrodden, only to realise you are surrounded by Islamists celebrating an anti-Semitic tyrant, who oppressed and butchered his own people. Welcome to the world of Bob Vylan, the punk-rapping affront to our eardrums and basic moral decency.

Canada’s Security Chief Met with Muslim Leader to Fight ‘Islamophobia.’ Then This Happened.

Dan Rogers, the head of Canada’s Center for Strategic and International Studies, had a friendly meeting recently with the CEO of the National Council of Canadian Muslims, Stephen Brown. They got together to discuss ways that the Canadian government could combat “Islamophobia,” but for Rogers, the timing of this meeting was not just bad; it was catastrophic.

Canadian delegation, including 6 MPs, denied entry into West Bank over alleged link to Israel-designated ‘terror entity’

OTTAWA—The Israeli embassy in Ottawa says a group that included six Canadian MPs was denied entry into the occupied West Bank on Tuesday because of an alleged financial link to an aid organization Israel considers a “terror entity.”

In a statement to the Star, Israeli embassy spokesperson Yifah Mivtach Greenvald said the group that organized the trip — Canadian Muslim Vote — receives the “vast majority” of its funding from Islamic Relief Canada, which Greenvald said is a subsidiary of Islamic Relief Worldwide, a listed terror entity in Israel.

Canada has not designated the group on its own terror list.

Scrutiny Rising Over Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Ties to Terrorism — and Turkey’s Governmen

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is taking a beating this holiday season. Just before Thanksgiving, Texas designated the civil rights organization, known colloquially as “CAIR,” as a foreign terrorist organization. Florida followed suit on December 8.

The day that Governor Ron DeSantis designated CAIR, news broke that the organization’s political advocacy arm, CAIR Action, has been operating in America “without the licenses, registrations, or legal authority required in any of the 22 states where it raises money or conducts political activity.” Nor does CAIR Action possess the documentation required to “legally operate or solicit funds” at Washington, D.C., where it’s incorporated.

Trump to meet incoming New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani

Trump to Meet Islamist 5th Columnist Mamdani

New York’s incoming mayor, Zohran Mamdani, and President Donald Trump plan to meet on Friday at the White House, after months of trading barbs and insults during the city’s recent election.

Mamdani, a 34-year-old Democratic socialist, won New York City’s mayoral race earlier this month, defeating former governor Andrew Cuomo by nine points. While he was little known outside of New York before the election, he has now become a nationally recognised figure.

New York Reruns: What Mamdani Means for New York

As the world waits for New York’s first Islamo-Communist mayor—hailed alike by the overtly malicious and the terminally stupefied—it may be worth stepping back to ask what the advent of Zohran Mamdani, the pampered 34-year-old rich kid who was born in Uganda, tells us about the decay of liberalism.

In many ways, Mamdani—who, as I write this, is a comfortable 10-15 points ahead in the polls—is just the latest avatar of the AOC-Ilhan Omar wing of the Democratic party. He loves talking about (re)distributing the wealth of others, defunding the police, arresting Benjamin Netanyahu, and penalizing “landlords,” which last is just one of his many code words for Jews.

Mamdani’s Success Is Not a Response to Austerity

The socialist’s base is composed of young, college-educated adults—not the poor.

New York City is well known for its expansive public sector. New York State is first nationally in state and local taxes per capita and as a percent of personal income, and second in terms of state and local spending per capita. While those statistics aren’t available at the municipal level, state spending is certainly getting funneled to Gotham. Forty-seven percent of New York City residents are enrolled in Medicaid, for example, compared with 35 percent statewide. Consider, also, the city’s multibillion-dollar affordable housing effort and its unique commitment to sheltering the homeless. Austerity, this is not.

Socialist Mamdani Hires Private Security Firm, Despite Pushing to Defund the Police

Democrat New York Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani has reportedly taken a step that exposes the double standards of the far-left political class by using private security to protect himself while simultaneously calling to defund the police.

Sadiq Khan tells Zohran Mamdani how to win New York mayor election

Sir Sadiq Khan has been informally advising the Democrats’ left-wing New York mayoral candidate on how to win his election.

Zohran Mamdani, 33, shocked America’s political establishment last month by defeating the former governor Andrew Cuomo in the race to secure his party’s nomination.

Sources say Mamdani and Khan have since exchanged texts and spoken over the phone. Khan’s advisers have also been in contact with Mamdani’s campaign team.

Politicians are hopelessly naive to the threat of Islamist entryism

Canada is well down that dreadful path.

Civil servants should be wary of what the people they grant a seat at the table really believe

If you’ve been bewildered by the actions of certain British institutions of late, you’re probably not alone.

The discontent and distrust these bodies attribute to pervasive mis-and-disinformation is at least partly driven by a form of moral dislocation between the majority of the public, and the increasingly ideologically homogeneous professionals who scold them and manage their affairs.

An underplayed component of this ideological drift has been the role of domestic Islamism and its penetration of state and civil society institutions. In short: entryism, a tactic long associated with the hard left.

Dutch Islamization is a warning to the entire West

“I think the West is on the verge of collapsing on itself. I am deeply disgusted by the situation and the behavior of the majority of politicians. We have let the Trojan horse in. I have been telling my left-wing friends for thirty years that we are screwed with Islamism. In twenty years, and probably less, maybe only ten, we will no longer recognize Europe. We are witnessing the end of a world, a great world, our West”.

So says the famous French cartoonist Enki Bilal.

Enough Is Enough: No Mo Bro-Fo Omar

Her latest comments make obvious she’s anti-American.

We’re now, as a country, presented with a question: At what point do we reclaim our status as a sovereign nation that takes itself seriously?

That question has been presented to us by categorically the most pristine kakistocrat in all of our governing class, this being Ilhan “Bro-Fo” Omar, the Somali Islamist Muslim, likely violator of our immigration laws, who serves as a member of the House of Representatives from a majority-white district of Minnesota and is now openly advocating for the United States government to become a vassal state of Somalia.

WARMINGTON: Mayor, anti-Semitism, not Islamophobia, is running rampant

Olivia Chow at an Muslim protest standing in solidarity with local Islamist Zafar Bangash – 2009

It would not be a long walk if Mayor Olivia Chow chose to pop over to show support for Aroma Espresso Bar, the city’s latest victim of anti-Semitism.

But Chow has been missing in action since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel. Certainly, she’s been invisible when it comes to standing up for Jewish-owned businesses which are being bullied.
