‘Foreigners are not above the law’: China rejects Canada’s opposition to Spavor and Schellenberg rulings

The Chinese foreign ministry has hit back at the Canadian prime minister as the countries bicker over the sentencing of two Canadian citizens in China. Beijing has reminded Ottawa that foreigners are not above the law.

Speaking on Thursday, foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told gathered press that Canada’s opposition to Beijing’s sentencing of Canadians Robert Lloyd Schellenberg and Michael Spavor infringed China’s sovereignty.

Hua urged Canada not to engage in microphone diplomacy, a strategy that has been proven to fail, and to refrain from publishing their opinions. She claimed that while Canada advertises itself as a country that respects the law, its only objective in this case was to politicize issues.

We’re going to have to realize we are at war eventually. Fuck the China class.

GUNTER: Latest WE Charity report is bad news for Liberals

“… In some instances, the department giving out the contract would contact WE in advance of the project being made public and outline just what the department was looking for. This could have given the Kielburgers a competitive advantage over other organizations that might also be interested in bidding.

On at least one occasion, Jeglic found, department officials suggested to WE an amount it might bid that could beat out any rivals.

And on another occasion, the ombudsman appears to have found that the cost of a contract awarded to WE was established after the charity had been given the deal.”

The public sector fared very well during lockdown

Governments at all three levels hired over 52,000 new bureaucratic administrators during the pandemic, according to the CTF.

Really!? Governments in Canada didn’t already have enough managers managing managers before?

I guess it’s no shock that StatsCan found more than 520,000 private-sector workers lost their jobs during the pandemic.

52000 thousand more votes in favour of stealing the bread from our mouths.

Good Green Welfare! Trudeau doles out 400 million of your dollars to corporate welfare parasite ArcelorMittal that posted 53 Billion in revenue in 2020

ArcelorMittal Dofasco getting $400M from Ottawa to cut greenhouse gas emissions

The federal government has announced $400 million for a project at ArcelorMittal Dofasco that the company says will help it cut carbon emissions by more than half.

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, along with Innovation Minister François-Philippe Champagne and Minister of Labour Filomena Tassi, made the announcement at the Hamilton steelmaker on Friday.

Fleeced again. What a scam. Revenue of ArcelorMittal from FY 2006 to FY 2020

Want emails? Wait five years, Public Health Agency of Canada tells access requestor

He is the very model of a modern bureaucrat! Sucking your blood and getting real fat!

A requester seeking access to a week’s worth of emails and messages from the head of a federal agency embroiled in controversy has been told to wait five years or more for a response under Canada’s information law.

The applicant recently asked the Public Health Agency of Canada for emails, texts and messages that president Iain Stewart had sent or received from June 14 to 21.

What a farce.

Sajjan directed military to provide suspended cop crony with job

OTTAWA – Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan told the military to create a position eventually filled by a reserve officer from his old unit who had been ordered suspended from the Vancouver police for an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate, according to newly released briefing notes.

Sajjan also wanted the military to upgrade the position less than two months after Maj. Greg McCullough was hired because the minister wanted even more support in his home riding in Vancouver, according to the notes, though that request did not become reality.

The briefing note comes amid lingering questions over how and why McCullough ended up in the unique position before his removal last month following revelations about the complaint and disciplinary action taken against him while he was a sergeant in the Vancouver police.

Rex Murphy: Why is it OK to harm Christian places of worship in Canada?

Rex Murphy: Why is it OK to harm Christian places of worship in Canada?

How many churches, Catholic, Protestant or other, on Indigenous lands or off, have been vandalized, severely damaged or burnt straight to the ground in recent weeks? By my count, it’s been more than 20. In a strong column in the Post last week, Melissa Mbarki of the Macdonald-Laurier Institute wrote that 10 churches were vandalized in Alberta on Canada Day alone. That figure should be — is — astonishing.

It’s OK because the Liberal government and their media lackeys say its OK.

‘Burn It All Down!’ Canadian Leadership on Church Attacks

Once again, the Woke crowd parades its hypocrisy and hate.

In one nation, at least two dozen mostly Catholic and some Anglican churches have been vandalized or torched in recent weeks; and that nation’s leaders are either openly calling for more or shrugging their shoulders.

That nation is not Iraq, Syria, or Libya under ISIS, but rather Canada.

Diane Francis: Trudeau’s inability to stand against China is a stain on Canada

Last year, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government sent millions of dollars to the People’s Republic of China — in the form of contracts and foreign aid — despite the fact that Beijing has been holding two Canadians hostage for more than two years and has threatened Canadians living in Canada for opposing the regime’s mistreatment of the Uighur people and its takeover of Hong Kong.

Justin is a puppet merely doing the bidding of Canada’s China class.

The privilege of pandemic private jets. How wealthy Canadians travelled during COVID-19

For the past 15 months, Canadians have been advised to avoid non-essential travel outside of Canada, but the definition of “essential” travel is open to interpretation and personal judgment.

While it has not been against the rules to fly abroad, COVID-19 testing and quarantine measures, along with the reduced capacity of commercial airlines, have made travel difficult or even prohibitive.

Friends of Justin no doubt, we really are a Banana republic.

Sabrina Maddeaux: Trudeau’s border closure is a sham designed to only allow the rich to travel. Time to put an end to it
