Elon Musk’s X to pay legal bills for vaccine-doubting Canadian doctor

Elon Musk’s X says it’s funding legal bills for a Canadian doctor previously chastised by regulators for her tweets about COVID-19.

In a post to the X News account on Sunday morning, the company formerly known as Twitter wrote that it’s “proud to defend” Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Gill against what it calls “government-supported efforts to cancel her speech.”

Now It Can Be Told: The Covid School-Closers Were Wrong, and They Harmed Kids

This won’t be news to anybody who has paid attention to American education or science since 2021, but the New York Times has published a lengthy piece by Sarah Mervosh, Claire Cain Miller, and Francesca Paris summarizing studies of Covid school closures that show that “the more time students spent in remote instruction, the further they fell behind.” Not only that: “And, experts say, extended closures did little to stop the spread of Covid.” You won’t see an apology here to red-state governors who were relentlessly smeared for battling to keep their schools open, or any consequences visited upon public health “experts,” teachers’ unions, or voices in journalism who did the smearing. But the studies’ verdict is about as close as you’re going to get.

Fisman’s Fraud

In her 2023 blockbuster “Fisman’s Fraud: The Rise of Canadian Hate Science,” Dr. R.N. Watteel outed the medical, media, academic, and political proponents of a prodigiously fraudulent Canadian study using the “follow-the-science” meme to justify discrimination and hate against the unvaccinated.

After Justin Trudeau’s Freedom Convoy debacle and his unwarranted invocation of the Emergencies Act, in which he acted like a vicious and unrepentant tyrant, the prime minister, she writes, “was in desperate need of science and justification for his [vaccine] mandates, so in came Fisman and his colleagues… What Fisman does is, he concocts…a model to simulate fake data that show the opposite of what the real data show,” claiming that “it’s the unvaccinated who have higher COVID-19 rates… and should be forbidden their Charter mobility rights.” The study is entirely counterfeit and should be regarded as criminal.

How Covid made us more stupid: even mild infection ‘leads to fall in IQ’

Unaffected by Covid

The Great British Intelligence Test was meant to be a bit of fun. Adam Hampshire, then at Imperial College, worked with the BBC to give a 30-minute test to 80,000 people. The broadcasters Michael Mosley and Hannah Fry had been drafted in to present the results, which would reveal, among other things, how our “changing lifestyle could be affecting our brain function”.

9 Ont. nurses fired for refusing COVID vaccines should be reinstated, arbitrator rules

An arbitrator has ruled that nine Ontario nurses, who were fired because they didn’t get 2 COVID-19 vaccinations, should be reinstated, because their termination was “unreasonable.”

“Nurses intent on remaining unvaccinated are a small minority everywhere but their employee rights may not be ignored” wrote James Hayes, in his decision published March 1.

Scientist claims ‘smoking gun’ evidence COVID-19 intentionally created by researchers in Chinese lab

COVID-19 may have been created in a Chinese lab, a British professor told the UN Wednesday, with another expert claiming that evidence of the likelihood has reached “the level of a smoking gun.”

Richard H. Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, was quoted saying in a new Wall Street Journal article that the virus that killed millions around the world may actually have been manmade in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology.

He cited evidence found in a 2018 document from the lab that talked of making such a virus.

How Sweden proved the world wrong about lockdown

In 2020, countries across the world followed in the footsteps of China and locked down hard against Covid-19. Liberties were drastically curtailed. As was economic activity, forcing governments to borrow tens if not hundreds of billions of pounds each to keep businesses and furloughed workers afloat.

In Europe, one notable exception to this was Sweden. The Swedish government, despite facing heavy criticism, decided against imposing tight restrictions on social activity. The evidence now overwhelmingly suggests that Sweden made the right choice.

How Covid amnesia spread through the right and left

In August 2020, the US Centers for Disease Control released new Covid testing guidelines, which called for increased vigilance in nursing homes and other hotbeds, while leaving hypochondriacs free to sodomize their noses to their hearts’ delight. The document sought to move away from mass testing for its own sake, which served the dual purpose of, first, generating panic-inducing headlines that could be used to justify lockdowns and drive cable TV ratings and, second, not doing a thing to protect the elderly. The Coronavirus Task Force led by Vice President Mike Pence had signed off on the change a week before in a situation room meeting without any objection from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases lead Anthony Fauci, as White House advisor Dr. Scott Atlas later recounted. But when the new guidelines hit the airwaves, the celebrated doctor let it be known that he was “concerned about the interpretation of these recommendations.”

Father Says He’s Insulted by Government Offer to Drop Court Case Alleging Son Died Due to COVID Shot

A man who is suing the government because he says his son died due to taking a COVID-19 vaccine says he finds it “disgusting” that the government wants him to drop the case in return for not having to pay legal expenses.

“I’ve never been insulted so bad in my life as that offer. It’s disgusting,” Dan Hartman told The Epoch Times. “It’s insulting and it’s disrespectful to my son’s memory. They’re saying my son’s life wasn’t worth anything.”

Health Canada Official Deleted Scientist’s Note Saying mRNA Shots Have ‘High Level of Impurity’: Internal Emails

A senior Health Canada official removed mention of a “high level of impurity” in mRNA COVID-19 vaccines in an assessment done by a colleague for the department’s chief medical adviser, internal records show.

The assessment was meant as a brief on recent findings about the creation of unintended proteins by mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

Two senior Health Canada (HC) officials, including the one with final authority on vaccine authorization, expressed concerns about the conclusions written by the HC scientist tasked with producing the assessment.

One-Third of Doctors, Half of Nurses in Canada Reluctant to Take COVID Vaccines: Government Survey

One-third of doctors and over half of nurses were reluctant to take the COVID-19 vaccine because they feared potential side effects, according to in-house research by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).

“Fifty-nine percent of health-care workers reported some degree of hesitancy in their decision to get vaccinated,” said the report, which added that 31 percent of doctors and 54 percent of nurses surveyed admitted “some level of hesitancy.”

COVID protective equipment makers sue Ottawa for $5B in damages

Canadian manufacturers of masks and other equipment for protecting against COVID-19 are seeking more than $5 billion in damages from the federal government, saying Ottawa misled them about buying and helping sell their products.

In a statement of claim filed in Federal Court, the companies and their industry association allege the government made “negligent misrepresentations” that prompted them to invest in personal protection equipment innovations, manufacturing and production.

Some Liberals get greedy on the kickbacks?
