COVID-19 vaccine endorsed for pregnant women

In the past three weeks the American Congress of Obstetricians and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine have endorsed the vaccine for expectant mothers.

“This is an important recommendation since we now know that contracting COVID-19 during pregnancy increases the risk of severe life-threatening complications to both the mother and fetus. This is really compelling support for getting vaccinated if you are unvaccinated and pregnant,’’ said Dr. Richard Leach, the chair of Women’s Health Services for Henry Ford Health System.

Chinese media caught publishing fake news claims by non-existent Swiss scientist critical of US for politicizing Covid origins

Wilson Edwards – Scientist

Chinese state media articles quoting a Swiss biologist accusing the US of politicising Covid origin investigations have been quietly deleted, after the Swiss government said no such person exists.

On 24 July, a Facebook post by an account named Wilson Edwards claimed to have witnessed or learned of US efforts to politicise the World Health Organization’s Covid-19 investigations from within.

Edwards cited unnamed WHO sources and “fellow researchers” complaining of having endured “enormous pressure and even intimidation from the US side as well as certain media outlets”.

Ontario reports more than 300 new COVID-19 cases, 3 more deaths

Ontario’s daily COVID-19 case count continues to hover between 300 and 400 new infections per day and infectious diseases experts are cautioning that a surge in cases is expected in the coming weeks.

Provincial health officials recorded 324 new cases of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus today, on par with the 321 new cases confirmed on Tuesday but up substantially from the 139 infections reported just one week ago.

‘No doubt’ Canada now in 4th wave of COVID-19 as cases spike across much of the country

With COVID-19 cases rising in multiple provinces after a summer lull, more signs point to Canada entering an expected fourth wave of the pandemic — one which could be dramatically different from earlier surges, thanks to rising vaccination rates, but not entirely pain-free.

The country’s seven-day average for new daily cases is now close to 1,300 — an increase of nearly 60 per cent over the previous week, with cases ticking back up mainly in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec.

Calgary chamber asking province to create COVID-19 vaccine passport system

Speaking on Tuesday on the Calgary Eyeopener, chamber president and CEO Deborah Yedlin said businesses have voiced concerns surrounding their ability to stay open amid the province’s lifting of restrictions.

“Our members have told us that a vaccine certificate passport is a very good idea, and it’s really, really critical to be able to continue to open successfully and consistently,” Yedlin said.

“If we’re not going to be testing, tracing and isolating, we need another mechanism to keep everyone safe.”

CDC Director Just Killed The Rationale For Vaccine Passports, Admits Vaccines Don’t Prevent People From Catching COVID Or From Spreading COVID

Dr. Rochelle Walensky has been making the media rounds. During her most recent appearance on CNN, The Conservative Treehouse caught her making a startling admission: The vaccines neither prevent people from catching COVID nor from spreading COVID. At most, they simply reduce the severity of the symptoms people experience if they do catch COVID. From this statement, Sundance draws the logical conclusion: Why should people get vaccine passports if they are both as contagious and as vulnerable to contagion as their unvaccinated cohorts?

China Owes The World $35 Trillion If Coronavirus Lab Leak Is True

Did China cause the coronavirus pandemic?

On August 24, a report President Joe Biden ordered 90 days earlier from the intelligence bureaucracy about the origin of COVID-19 will be due. There is an odd lack of leaked information about where the report stands now. Despite their supposedly secretive nature, these agencies often seem to employ even more aggressive publicists than SEAL Team Six and leak what passes for intelligence to force the hand of a president they are supposed to serve. When he ordered the review, Biden forecast that the agencies might not agree on a source of COVID, or might issue a posterior-covering report that stresses they present their conclusions with “moderate” confidence—shorthand for “guessing.”

Inflated Expectations

Politicians and public-health officials are setting unrealistic goals for controlling Covid-19.

Without doubt, the Covid-19 pandemic requires urgent action: to protect the vulnerable from severe disease and death; to prevent the overwhelming of the health-care system; and to keep businesses, schools, and ordinary life humming. But the sense of panic infusing traditional and social media outlets as they report on the pandemic is out of all proportion to the reality of the situation.

Province switches COVID reporting to focus on cases by vaccination status

The Ford government is changing the way it reports daily COVID-19 stats in Ontario, with a focus on hospitalizations instead of cases and highlighting differences between the vaccinated and unvaccinated.

… The province will now report on those hospitalized, in ICU and those who tested positive by breaking them down into three categories: unvaccinated, partially vaccinated and fully vaccinated individuals.

On Tuesday, the province reported 321 new cases of which, 267 were in unvaccinated individuals, 54 were partially vaccinated and 78 fully vaccinated.

Passports can’t be far behind

Ontario reports 321 new COVID-19 cases; two deaths

Ontario reported 321 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths on Tuesday, as the province’s seven-day rolling average of new cases climbed above 300 for the first time since late June.

Tuesday’s count brought the rolling seven-day average of new cases to 306, up from 283 yesterday.

Doug Ford urged to create a vaccine passport before the fourth wave hits

A sharp rise in Ontario’s COVID-19 cases has business groups turning up the heat on Premier Doug Ford to implement a vaccine passport program.

Concerned a fourth wave this fall could force a return to public health restrictions with more than 4 million Ontarians still unvaccinated — including kids under 12 not yet eligible — passport advocates maintain the best defence is a good offence.

“The last thing anyone wants is to be shut down but that’s what will happen if we don’t use every tool in the tool kit,” Ontario Chamber of Commerce President Rocco Rossi said Monday. “It’s about mitigating risk as much as possible. We’re going to be living with this for a while.”

If you’re fully vaxxed you can still catch and spread covid but with a passport you can spread it legally. Am I doing this right?

“New Covid Variants For The Foreseeable Future” Says Wuhan Institute

Shi Zhengli is the head of the Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

According to American media publication Newsweek, Zhengli has issued a statement that the world should be “prepared to live with a continuing stream of variants for the foreseeable future.”

“As the number of infected cases has just become too big, this allowed the novel coronavirus more opportunities to mutate and select. New variants will continue to emerge.”

Top Covid Vaccine Maker Goes From Financial Loss To $4 Billion Profit

“How do I expose thee–let me count the ways.”

Many will attribute this variation on words to the pen of William Shakespeare, when in fact the source is British poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Either way, it illustrates a critical phenomenon within contemporary culture: the myriad ways in which the Covid pandemic is manifest within society, along with the obfuscation of these circumstances.

Perhaps most revelant of all is the concept of money. Or rather, the world of corporate profits–as collected by what can be referred to as the “pandemic industry.”
