Ontario reports 900+ new COVID-19 cases; 19 additional deaths
Ontario reported more than 900 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and 19 deaths, the fourth day of a slow rise in cases that officials said may keep them from accelerating provincial reopening plans.
The province reported 914 new cases on Friday.

Statistics Canada says the economy lost 68,000 jobs in May as lockdowns to slow the COVID-19 continued.
The unemployment rate was 8.2 per cent in May, little changed from the 8.1 per cent in April because the number of unemployed people in Canada overall stayed relatively steady.
What changed is that more people dropped out of the labour force in May, including workers who simply got discouraged and gave up looking for work.
Right now, like Republicans in the United States, Canadian Conservative politicians should be seizing onto this political opportunity created by the overbearing government response to COVID-19 to promote the upholding of Canadian rights and freedoms.

Former U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield said he has received death threats from fellow scientists after saying he suspected that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus originated in a Wuhan laboratory.
Redfield told Vanity Fair in an interview published Thursday that he received a significant amount of backlash after he told CNN earlier this year that he is a proponent of the theory the virus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China, contradicting the official narrative espoused by the CCP.

A fearful, gullible and low-information public is no match for the masters of deceit: the Marxist Mainstream Media, a suborned medical institution, and a political consortium in love with autocratic governance. Thankfully, there are citizens, in countries like Sweden and in the American red states, who have seen through the repressive and failed measures intended to combat COVID. My own country, governed entirely by ideologues and intellectual incompetents on both the federal and provincial levels, is devoid of political sanity and moral courage. A docile and ignorant electorate is easy prey for its leaders. There are exceptions, of course—business owners who have lost everything, people whose cognitive abilities have remained intact—but they form a media-discredited minority.
