In a political climate plagued by toxic acrimony, it’s refreshing to see people from opposite sides of the aisle find agreement on, well, anything. Possibilities abound here in Donald Trump’s America, though, and every once in a while we get treated to little miracles.

Rocker Bruce Springsteen is down on Democrats, telling Time they’ll remain irrelevant and ineffective if they don’t find someone who can “speak to the majority” of America.

“We’re desperately in need of an effective alternative party, or for the Democratic Party to find someone who can speak to the majority of the nation,” Springsteen told the outlet. “There is a problem with the language that they’re using and the way they’re trying to reach people.”

Americans are more divided than we have been since the first time the Democrats started and lost a civil war, with every norm being tossed out and every legitimate exercise of lawfully attained power by us normals being shamelessly obstructed. The left rejects the idea that patriotic Americans have any moral right to participate in theirown governance, to pursue their own interests, or to assert their own rights. To them,we are nothing but thralls, tax-generating slaves who must feed them, fuel them, fight for them, and obey their commands while meekly accepting their calumny.

They are delusional. Things aren’t going to work out that way.

As President Donald Trump has racked up a string of major policy wins in his six months, Democrats are stuck in a rut without a clear party leader, they admitted in interviews with the Daily Mail.

Though House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are technically the left’s top lawmakers, Democrats on Capitol Hill shared that there is still no consensus on who is the party’s head.

In the absence of a clear frontrunner to lead the party in 2028, Democrats are left to tout their current efforts resisting Trump.

This time it’s real, and undeniable. The Democrats have for years denied, with varying degrees of scorn or anger, that they are Communists, despite hating both free enterprise and borders, which are just the sorts of things you’d expect socialist internationalists to hate. Now, however, the deniability is no longer even close to plausible. As the Democrat candidates move ever farther to the left, it’s clear: A spectre is haunting the Democrats. The spectre of Communism.

Here’s a dirty little secret about the PR profession: The PR experts in private practice think the PR “experts” who work for politicians, political parties, and government agencies are a bunch of low-watt bulbs. There are exceptions, of course, but as a general rule, the most productive, outside-the-box creative, high-energy PR minds are exclusively in the private sector. The ones who accept government jobs, alas, tend to be lazy, bureaucratic, and full of roadblocks — and good Lord, forget about reaching ‘em after 5 p.m.!
