A hill to die on

In July 2021, when ‘vaccine passports’ were still a crazy conspiracy theory, I wrote an article for The Spectator Australia arguing that Australia must not become a checkpoint society based on proof of Covid vaccination. To allow such tyranny would be illiberal and draconian, and contradict everything that the Liberal Party, as conceptualised by Sir Robert Menzies, stood for.

Not long after that article was written, many unvaccinated Australians were barred from public places, doctors’ clinics, hospitals, and even from working because they turned down the jab. Our health bureaucracies and state premiers told us that this was essential for our safety to ‘stop the spread’.

Two women tied up and shamed by China Covid security for not wearing masks to collect a takeaway

Two women were tied up and left in the street after they reportedly picked up a takeaway meal without wearing masks, in a humiliating abuse of power by officials enforcing China’s strict Covid rules.

A video showed the two visibly distressed women with their hands tied at a checkpoint near the entrance to a residential compound in the southern city of Guangzhou on Thursday.

Dr. Kieran Moore goes unmasked at party after ‘strongly recommending’ masks ‘in all indoor public settings’

Several prominent public health advocates — including Ontario’s chief medical officer of health — went maskless at a Toronto Life party for the 50 most influential residents of 2022 this week.

Dr. Kieran Moore, who only days earlier had “strongly recommended” Ontarians wear a mask in indoor public spaces to protect the youngest children from a potentially severe respiratory illness circulating in the province, was spotted on a video taken at the party not wearing a mask.

Nothing to see here? More jab victims the MSM will ignore

BUT for the studied silence of the Times, Telegraph and the other leading media outlets about the mounting evidence of vaccine injury over the last 18 months, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) simply could not have sustained its Kafkaesque denial of its own Yellow Card report data. Until lockdown it would have seemed an absurd proposition that any journalist or newspaper would cover up a story, indeed a tragedy, of this magnitude. Yet this is the conclusion we are now bound to reach.

G20 Promotes WHO-Standardized Global Vaccine Passport and ‘Digital Health’ Identity Scheme

Leaders of the Group of 20 (G20) have issued a joint declaration promoting a global standard on proof of vaccination for international travel and calling for the establishment of “global digital health networks” that build on existing digital COVID-19 vaccine passport schemes.

The joint statement followed the conclusion of the G20 summit held in Bali, Indonesia, where leaders discussed global challenges and coordinating policies in response, including to future pandemics.

The ‘educated’ elite who are keenest to swallow Covid lies

WE ALL know the story of the emperor’s new clothes and the fact that it was a small child, rather than the courtiers and sycophants, who blurted out the truth that the emperor, in fact, was wearing nothing at all.

That story by Hans Christian Andersen was published in 1837 and now, nearly 200 years later, its message is more relevant than ever. For while politicians, scientists and supposedly learned people everywhere were ordering us into lockdowns, pushing us to take ever more vaccines and tests, to sanitise our hands at every turn and to wear masks, it was the ordinary people who saw through all this and rebelled.

University Student Protests Mandate With Grapefruit ‘Mask’ One Day, Bucket on His Head Another

Kamil Bachouchi, a 21-year-old philosophy student at Wilfrid Laurier University, showed up to class on Nov. 15 wearing a “mask”—or rather, a hollowed-out grapefruit.

It covered his nose and mouth, complying with the mandatory mask policy put in place for the fall university term. This is just the latest way Bachouchi, who plans to go to law school, is peacefully protesting an educational environment in which, he says, students “aren’t allowed to think or debate,” but are forced into “compliance.”

Europe faces ‘cancer epidemic’ after estimated 1m cases missed during Covid

Experts have warned that Europe faces a “cancer epidemic” unless urgent action is taken to boost treatment and research, after an estimated 1m diagnoses were missed during the pandemic.

The impact of Covid-19 and the focus on it has exposed “weaknesses” in cancer health systems and in the cancer research landscape across the continent, which, if not addressed as a matter of urgency, will set back cancer outcomes by almost a decade, leading healthcare and scientific experts say.

A report, European Groundshot – Addressing Europe’s Cancer Research Challenges: a Lancet Oncology Commission, brought together a wide range of patient, scientific, and healthcare experts with detailed knowledge of cancer across Europe.

So you did your best? Denial and delusion of the pandemic pushers

HOW can the words ‘Covid amnesty’ even be uttered whilst the NHS and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the US public health watchdog, are yet to lay down their arms?

I can quite see why the Covid-pushers would want free passes to exempt themselves from the consequences of their actions, under some crass slogan like ‘we acted from the best of intentions’.

Lockdowns Kept Children From Acquiring Immunity to Contagious Respiratory Virus: Ontario Pediatrician

With respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) surging coast to coast, children’s hospitals have been reporting long wait times and overwhelmed emergency rooms due to unprecedented cases of the highly contagious illness, which causes cold-like symptoms in older children but can be very serious in infants.

Children usually accumulate immunity over time to RSV, according to Dr. Melissa Langevin, associate medical director of emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). However, at a CHEO medical briefing on Oct. 26, Langevin said that the last three years of COVID-19 and lockdowns meant “kids not interacting in the same way.”

Ontario’s top doctor ‘strongly’ recommends masking indoors

Ontarians should put a mask on in all indoor public settings, the province’s top doctor advised on Monday.

Dr. Kieran Moore is “strongly recommending” the use of masking in those spaces as some pediatric Ontario hospitals say they’ve been overwhelmed by an influx of sick patients in recent weeks.

At this point, the province has not issued a mandate on the use of masks across the province, although some health-care officials have asked for one.

Are autumn vaccine boosters linked to deaths running at 12% above average?

THE excess deaths crisis continues, with 1,232 – 12.3 per cent above the five-year average – registered in England and Wales in the week ending October 28, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Of these, 804 were attributed to an underlying cause other than Covid-19, bringing the total excess non-Covid deaths since the wave began in April to 23,287.

Tam encourages wearing masks as hospitals struggle with virus surges

Canada’s top public health doctor says wearing masks in addition to other precautions could make it easier for hospitals to cope with a surge of respiratory viruses.

Some doctors, scientists and hospital officials in Ontario and Manitoba have asked public health officials to bring back mask mandates as hospitals are overwhelmed by cases of flu, COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus or RSV.
