Vaccine-doubting doctor ordered to pay $1 million in legal costs after her libel suit quashed

When a host of doctors, academics and journalists criticized her COVID vaccine-doubting, anti-lockdown views, Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Gill struck back, filing a $12-million libel suit against them.

Amongst other charges, she accused her detractors of being a “pack of hyenas” bent on destroying her reputation. It has proven to be a very expensive counter-attack.

The tyranny of a Covid amnesty

A self-righteous cabal has delivered a public that is sicker and poorer

I spent the last days of innocence before Trump and Brexit heavily pregnant. Like many first-time mums, I read a lot of pregnancy books, but the one I liked most was Expecting Better. Written by Emily Oster, an economist, the book sifts carefully through many of the dire warnings doled out to pregnant women about food, drink, birth choices, and so on, assessing the evidence for each.

Unexplained Excess Deaths Are on the Rise

There are a half-million excess deaths in the United States that are unaccounted for—and the usual suspects do not add up to that many.

By a significant margin, and according to data reported weekly by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the death rate in America remains elevated. If nothing else is certain as Americans continue to cope with the most disruptive event in the last half-century, one fact is indisputable: As the number of cases of COVID-19 decreased over the past few months, they now account for less than half of this persistently elevated death rate.

UK: Crisis as excess deaths soar to levels higher than during Covid pandemic

Excess deaths in England and Wales are currently running higher than in the main pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, figures have shown.

Throughout October, there have been an average of 1,564 extra deaths per week, compared with a weekly average of just 315 in 2020 and 1,322 in 2021.

Latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed that in the week ending Oct 21, there were 1,714 excess deaths in England and Wales, of which only 469 were due to Covid – just 27 per cent of the total.

Canadian veteran James Topp facing more charges for calling out COVID vaccine mandates

James Topp, a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) who walked across Canada in protest of COVID jab decrees, is now facing four new charges by the military for speaking out against injection mandates.

According to the Canadian Press, Topp is facing a total of six counts of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline.

Two of Topp’s new charges relate to video statements he gave which were posted on social media in February blasting the military’s COVID jab mandate. The charges come under Canada’s National Defence Act.

Editor-in-Chief of Renowned Science Journal Ousted for Publishing Science Questioning COVID-19 Vaccine Safety

Dr. José Luis Domingo, who has served as editor-in-chief of a prestigious scientific journal, Food and Chemical Toxicology (FCT), for the past seven years, said that he has essentially been forced to resign.

His resignation, he alleged, has come about because of gaping problems with scientific integrity and industry influence when it comes to scientific discussions about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines.

Never Forget the COVID Fanatics

Two news stories are illustrative of the current state of the COVID panic and public health. Biden got his third booster, but it appears he is nearly alone in this. Uptake for boosters is very low, with fewer than 10 percent of eligible people getting them.

The COVID vaccines’ lackluster benefits, significant apparent health risks, recent admissions that they do nothing to stop transmission, additive risk from boosters, combined with the general sense that COVID is not worth worrying about for most people have reduced COVID’s salience in the news and in our lives. With many people having already gotten and survived COVID with little difficulty, there is no longer the fear and uncertainty that prevailed in the earliest days of the pandemic.

We’re stuck in the Dark Ages over vaccine deaths

THE fourth year of the pandemic has started and we are still left wondering about the whys and hows. We could easily be participating in a medical-psychological drama on Netflix with a very uncertain outcome and lots of anxious episodes.

A few days ago Dr Ayesha Verill, New Zealand Minister for Covid-19 Response, belatedly replied to my letter of August 18 entitled ‘Current pandemic policy and protocols are out of date’ in which I asked the government to consider published research findings from Thailand, Qatar and Iceland. I also requested that vaccination status be included on death certificates to aid research. In her reply, Dr Verill noted that the government has now ended the Covid-19 Protection Framework and added: ‘While New Zealand watches closely how other countries are dealing with the response to Covid-19, it is important that we make our own decision when it comes to how we manage the virus, as many factors determine our response, such as vaccination rates, community transmission, and the pressures on our health system.’

When will Fauci admit the ‘open schools’ parents were right?

He was integral to stunting learning, and the damage has been immense

“Was it a mistake in so many states, in so many localities to see schools closed as long as they were?” an ABC reporter asked Dr. Anthony Fauci on October 16.
His response: “I would say that what we should realize, and have realized, that there will be deleterious collateral consequences when you do something like that…”

They made doors, gum and jerry cans. Ontario’s ‘essential’ workers in manufacturing accounted for more workplace COVID deaths than any other sector — even health care

These are some of the workers, praised by the province as essential, who succumbed to COVID infections they caught while working in factories across Ontario:

A general helper at Concord Confections, a candy factory in York Region that makes Dubble Bubble gum.

An assembler at Concord-based door manufacturer, Masonite International.

A supervisor at Diana Dolls Fashions, a baby clothes maker in Hamilton.

It was readily apparent from the start of the Scamdemic that if you knew the right people you got to make your Movie or your chewing gum while the Great Unwashed suffered economic hardship or Wuhan Flu exposure for the unfortunate in Doug Ford’s Pandemic Mills.

The lockdowns did more harm than good ultimately though it can be argued that if the time had been used to shore up the defenses of Long Term Care homes and other vulnerable institutions then their limited usage could be justified.

To my view the family of the deceased chewing gum worker and others in their shoes have a legitimate cause to sue the government for wrongful death.

Coalition Presents Letter Signed by Canadian Scientists, Asking Health Officials to Affirm COVID Vaccine ‘Safety Risks’

A coalition of over 20 public interest groups is calling on the federal government to publicly affirm the “material risks and scientific uncertainties” related to COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, presenting a letter signed by 19 doctors, scientists, and academics across the country.

Coming together as the “Citizens’ Group,” the coalition wrote the letter to Jean-Yves Duclos and Dr. Theresa Tam dated Oct. 13, asking for “transparent answers” to all questions and concerns revolving around COVID-19 vaccines.
