
The official witness list for the public inquiry into the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act has been released by the Public Order Emergency Commission (POEC) and includes the prime minister, key Freedom Convoy organizers, and prominent cabinet members.
The commission, which will begin its public hearings on Oct. 13, lists a total of 65 anticipated witnesses, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, Attorney General David Lametti, along with convoy organizers Tamara Lich, Benjamin Dichter, and Chris Barber.
