There are a lot of stories about Cuba floating around right now. Some are MSM outlets acting like they have a scoop on something that’s been happening or rumored to be happening for months. Some are simply absurd and probably not true. Most aren’t actually verified by the Donald Trump administration and come from anonymous sources. I’m not even going to bother with those today. I saw this happen in the final months before we captured Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. Most of these reporters and media outlets didn’t even care about these countries until they became newsworthy, and once they do become hot topics, they’ll publish just about anything to get clicks. I can’t do that.

Cuba Falling: Desperate Times Call for Desperately Attacking Rubio
You know they’re in desperate times when the Cuban regime starts sending its mouthy representatives to do interviews on Fox News of all places, hoping to reshape the narrative.
The country’s foreign minister, Bruno Rodríguez — and arguably the regime’s slickest mouthpiece — did just that earlier this week, and he went straight after his favorite punching bag: our dear Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Cuba’s Cheerleaders Finally Face Gov Investigation
On paper, we have all sorts of sanctions on enemy nations like Cuba, North Korea or Iran, in practice there’s a revolving door of influencers, celebrities and media types who prop them up. The Cuba situation is especially egregious with half of Hollywood having sat down to chats with Castro and the current mayor of LA, among many other elected officials and activists, having gone to Cuba with Marxist front groups.
Deep in the blackouts, desperate Cubans say: We want deal with Trump
On a street called “Perseverance” in the heart of central Havana, patience has run out. Its warren of homes, crammed behind the façades of once-grand mansions, have been without electricity for all but a few hours of the past two weeks. Most of its residents have moved from the stifling indoors to the marginally cooler pavement outside. There, they are letting their frustration rip.
“Come on Trump, just send the ships and end this shit,” said one, a rake-thin man who gave his name as Rafael. His neighbours appeared taken aback by such open dissidence, but none bothered to argue with him. “We want a deal with Trump. No war,” said a woman called Odalys, as she fed her baby.
Rubio says Cuba is threat to US as Havana accuses him of ‘lies’
Cuba poses a “national security threat” to the US and the likelihood of a peaceful agreement is “not high”, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said.
His comments come just a day after the US charged Cuba’s former president Raúl Castro with murder over the 1996 downing of two planes resulting in the killing of US nationals.
Rubio said Washington’s preference was “a diplomatic solution” but warned that President Donald Trump had the right and obligation to protect his country against any threat.
The deadly plane attack at the centre of Castro’s indictment
The fatal crash of two planes off the coast of Florida more than 30 years ago is at the heart of the criminal charges against Cuba’s former leader Raúl Castro the US revealed on Wednesday.
The attack by the Cuban military on a civilian plane sparked one of the biggest crises between Cuba and the US, with effects lasting to this day.
Cuban fighter jets shot down the two small planes – which belonged to a group of Cuban exiles in Miami – in the waterway between the Caribbean island nation and the US state of Florida, with all four on board killed instantly.
US indicts former Cuban president Raúl Castro as it seeks to oust regime
The United States has issued a federal criminal indictment against Raúl Castro, Cuba’s former president, on Wednesday, and five others in a significant escalation of the Trump administration’s campaign to oust the country’s six-decades-old communist regime.
The 94-year-old political figurehead was charged in Miami, Florida, with conspiracy to kill US nationals, four counts of murder and two counts of destruction of aircraft, according to court filings obtained by CBS.
Other defendants are a fighter pilot who was initially charged in connection with a 1996 incident in which four men were killed by the Cuban military when their aircraft were shot down during a humanitarian mission in the Florida Straits.
Cuba denies plotting drone attacks on Guantanamo Bay
Cuba has denied purchasing more than 300 military drones and plotting to attack the US base at Guantánamo Bay.
Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, the country’s foreign affairs minister, described a report that Havana had acquired an arsenal of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as “fraudulent”, adding that it was being used as a pretext to justify American “military aggression”.
Trump Warns Iran: ‘Get Moving’ or ‘There Won’t Be Anything Left’
President Donald Trump said that Iran “better get moving” or else “there won’t be anything left of them.”
Trump posted to Truth Social on Sunday as the U.S. and Iran try to negotiate to end the conflict that started on Feb. 28.
Hmmmm …
Cuba Acquires Over 300 Attack Drones As Tensions With US Rise
A new report indicates that the Caribbean state of Cuba has acquired more than 300 military drones after tensions between the country and the United States have continued to escalate over past months, according to Axios.
Trump should exact a heavy price for saving Castro’s Cuba
Residents in Havana, Cuba, who had been sitting in darkness for the better part of a day, poured into the streets on Wednesday night. They blocked roads with burning rubbish, erected barricades, and shouted at the government to turn the lights back on. By Thursday, the blackouts had encompassed the island in the latest round of nationwide shutdowns. Some areas are reporting power losses lasting 24 hours a day, with the capital enduring outages stretching beyond 22 hours.

ABC, CBS Blame America, Not Communism, For ‘Plunging’ Cuba ‘Into Darkness’
ABC’s recent history of blaming the United States, and especially the Trump administration, and not communism for Cuba’s ongoing economic disaster continued on Saturday’s Good Morning America as reporter Alex Presha and guest co-host Rachel Scott blamed American sanctions instead. Unfortunately, this time, they were also joined by CBS Saturday Morning and White House reporter Olivia Rinaldi, who claimed the U.S. was “plunging the country into darkness.”
CIA director has met officials in Havana for talks, Cuba claims
CIA director John Ratcliffe met Cuban officials in Havana on Thursday as a way to improve dialogue between the US and the communist-run island, the Cuban government said.
The meeting took place “in a context marked by the complexity of bilateral relations, with the aim of contributing to the political dialogue between both nations”, a statement said.
The CIA did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Thursday.
Raúl Castro’s Past Comes Knocking: U.S. Moves to Indict Cuban Revolutionary in Deadly ’90s Attack
The United States, with “America First” President Donald Trump at the helm, along with his anti-Castro Cuban-American Secretary of State Marco Rubio, has been putting the pressure on the communist regime founded in 1959 by that infamous revolutionary, Fidel Castro. In an executive order issued in May, the president deemed the island country, which is only 90 miles off the Florida Keys, an “unusual and extraordinary threat,” and the administration has been busy since slamming them with sanctions and cutting off their oil supplies.
The Cuban Regime’s Fear of Its Youth
“Mom, how long am I going to be here?” asks Jonathan Muir Burgos, a 16-year-old Cuban Christian and one of the regime’s youngest political prisoners, during early-morning phone calls from Canaleta prison in Ciego de Ávila.
In that question lies the anguish of a generation protesting blackouts, shortages, and the absence of freedom in Cuba. Jonathan’s imprisonment starkly contradicts the repeated claims by Cuba’s unelected president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, that political prisoners do not exist on the island.
PROPAGANDA: Trump-Deranged ABC Gives Aid and Comfort to the Castro Regime
The Elitist Media continue to provide aid and comfort to Cuba’s communist regime ahead of a potential action by the United States. This time, it’s Trump-deranged ABC News performing crisis communications for a brutal regime on its last legs.
Watch as correspondent Matt Rivers whitewashes the regime, hypes its May Day anti-American march, and propagates the idea that the energy embargo is the source of Cuba’s ills…
