Why Hollywood liberals are punishing Clint Eastwood for his politics

Around this time of year, every film studio pays a vast amount of money for a series of adverts that go in the trade press, marked ‘For Your Consideration’. These are designed to promote the films that they believe have the highest chance of making a serious splash in the awards season, but also double up as a means of keeping talent happy.

It is unlikely, for instance, that Joaquin Phoenix stands any serious chance of repeating his Oscar win for Joker with its failed sequel, but its studio Warner Bros will still campaign on his behalf, just as it will be going into bat for the commercially unsuccessful Mad Max sequel Furiosa and its sole recent big hit, the Beetlejuice follow-up Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Nate Silver Reveals What His Gut Says About the Election

Famed left-leaning pollster Nate Silver is making a prediction based on his “gut” on what’s going to happen in the election coming in less than two weeks.

“In an election where the seven battleground states are all polling within a percentage point or two, 50-50 is the only responsible forecast,” he wrote. “Since the debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, that is more or less exactly where my model has had it.”

The Brilliant McDonald Trump

He is going back to the White House.

Readers have been pestering me for months as to who is going to win the election. You will remember that in 2016 I made a fool of myself when I cast my vote early for Donald Trump, the greenhorn Republican, who had never run for anything before.

The day after the election, it turned out that the entire media had been wrong. Donald won. I had been right. I was of course ignored by everyone save the noble Ben Smith of BuzzFeed.

Then in 2020 I upset the placid waters of the bovine media by saying Donald would win again. He lost, but not by much. And the election was controversial. In fact, it was the most controversial race of my lifetime. I held my tongue, and now the 2024 race is heading toward the finish line. Who will win?

She is a vile woman.

Elite Democrats tried to force electric cars on American drivers. Now the rebellion is growing

A strong case can be made that the worst thing that ever happened to the electric vehicle industry was Joe Biden. His strongarm tactics to force Americans to buy battery-operated cars have only stiffened consumer resolve not to purchase them. EV sales had been robust before Biden entered the White House, but the boomlet stalled as conservative voters rebelled and even ridiculed EVs as “Biden cars”.

While EVs have become popular in blue states like New York and California – where more than one-third of the sales have occurred – Red Staters have turned a thumbs down to these cars of the future.

Is CBS Refusing To Release Its Full Kamala ‘60 Minutes’ Interview Because It Let Her Redo Answers?

There are only two possibilities pertaining to that “60 Minutes” interview in which at least one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ answers to a critical question was edited in her political favor: Either Kamala’s handlers insisted upon redoing some of her comments, or the program unilaterally assisted in cleaning them up on its own.

Kamala Grew Up Around Terrorists

The untold story of Kamala’s grandfather and her childhood in Africa.

On the last leg of her African tour, Vice President Kamala Harris paid a visit to an otherwise unremarkable office building in Zambia. Her staff and local embassy personnel had spent a great deal of time looking for it and everyone was hoping it was the right place.

Kamala, with her Jamaican and Indian roots, needed a tangible connection to Africa to win over African-American voters and convince them that she was one of them. And everyone settled on the office building as being the next best thing because it was the former spot of the building where she had once stayed as a little girl with her Indian mother on a visit to her grandfather.

Just Like Clockwork: SECOND Prediction Made on Oct. 17 Has Just Come True!

I’m feeling a little bit hypocritical because I always found Tony Romo’s football predictions to be kinda gimmicky. But at this point, I’m turning into a political Nostradamus. (I solemnly promise to use my powers for good and not evil.) Here’s the latest…

An interesting shift in the media narrative to Kamala remorse. Let’s hope it is an ongoing trend.

Kamala Harris Plagiarized Pages of Congressional Testimony From a Republican Colleague. Plus, a Fictionalized Story About Human Trafficking.

On April 24, 2007, Kamala Harris testified before Congress in support of the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act of 2007. The bill, which was introduced that year but never passed the upper chamber, would have created a student loan repayment program for state and local prosecutors, and Harris, then the district attorney of San Francisco, argued it would draw top legal talent to offices like hers.

In a written statement to the House Judiciary Committee, she described how debt-addled prosecutors often decamp to the private sector a few years into the job, lured by the prospect of higher pay that could be used to pay off law school debt. That dynamic had left many district attorneys’ offices short-staffed, she said, forcing them to put rookie attorneys on complex cases.

Nolte: Panicked Harris Staffers Leak Concerns About Losing NC and MI

Speaking anonymously to far-left NBC News, Kamala Harris campaign staffers say they are concerned about losing the swing states of Michigan and North Carolina.

Donald Trump leading in majority of swing states, new poll shows

Donald Trump is ahead in the majority of the seven key swing states, a new Telegraph poll shows.

The Republican has increased his support in the four crucial states in the Sun Belt by one point, according to the latest in a series of surveys conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies for The Telegraph.

This has taken him into the lead in Georgia, Nevada, Arizona and North Carolina.

Did Kamala Harris Lie to Get Into a Law School Program for Impoverished Students?

Kamala Harris will say or do whatever it takes to win the presidency, and her campaign is built on a foundation of lies—whether it’s smearing Donald Trump or distorting her own record. But Harris’s troubling relationship with the truth didn’t start in politics. In fact, she may owe her entire career to a lie that helped her get into law school in the first place.

CNN pundit says ‘white folks should face accountability’ if they don’t ‘save democracy’ by voting for Kamala

Liberal commentator Angela Rye says ‘white folks should face accountability’ if they decline to elect Kamala Harris and ‘save democracy.’

Rye has espoused radical views in the past, including refusing to refer to Donald Trump as ‘president’ after he was elected and calling for all statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson to be taken down.

Appearing on CNN Sunday, she was asked to respond to Barack Obama’s recent lecture to black men that they were sexist for not wanting to vote for the vice president.

Is It Trump’s Race to Lose?

Squint and you can see signs that the stars may be aligning for the former president at just the right time.

Pundits and political observers are struggling to come up with new ways to say, “it’s tied.” No one who isn’t auditioning for a role in a future White House will tell you anything different. But with just two weeks before the vote, we can safely compare the two campaigns’ strategic advantages and the tactics they are employing to secure them. Squint for long enough at that side-by-side comparison, and you’re more likely to come away from it with the impression that Donald Trump has the upper hand.

Trump’s McDonald’s Stop Exposes Corporate Media’s Contempt For The Working Class

In predictable fashion, America’s morally and ethically bankrupt legacy media are melting down over former President Donald Trump’s visit to a McDonald’s franchise this past weekend.

The media-wide freak-out started shortly after the former president, donning an apron and his signature red tie, worked alongside McDonald’s staffers in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. While cooking french fries, Trump greeted customers at the drive-through and poked fun at Kamala Harris’ unsubstantiated claim she once worked at the popular fast-food chain.

Comrade Kamala? It’s Not As Crazy As It Sounds

The dreary Kamala Harris has taken to calling Donald Trump “fascist,” most recently in an interview this week with a popular radio host. She is not the only one—Gen. Mark Milley, who headed the Joint Chiefs of Staff during Trump’s presidency, has done the same—but this is the kind of silliness that the ruling class tells itself about any right-of-center politician who threatens their settled picture of the world. They say it of Viktor Orbán and other European leaders of the untamed Right. They said it of Trump in 2016 too, of course; somehow, America got through his presidency without brownshirts taking to the streets, or grabbing the Sudetenland.

24 reasons that Trump could win

This election remains extremely close, but Donald Trump has been gaining ground. One of my pet peeves is with the idea that this is Kamala Harris’s election to lose. I could articulate some critiques of her campaign, but if you study the factors that have historically determined elections, you’ll see that she’s battling difficult circumstances.

So, today’s newsletter simply aims to provide a laundry list of factors that favor Trump, with many links to evidence in previous Silver Bulletin posts and elsewhere. These are in no particular order.

Nolte: McDonald’s Has No Record of Kamala Harris Working There

McDonald’s released a statement Sunday admitting it has no record of Kamala Harris ever working there, as she has repeatedly claimed.

This deepening scandal, which social media has dubbed Stolen McValor, finally got the spotlight it deserved Sunday when former President Trump spent some time making French fries and working the drive-thru at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s.

She meant she was a working girl on the stroll near a McDonalds.
