Honest to Pete, I don’t know how the people at Babylon Bee do it. This campaign cycle’s level of absurdity is getting to the point where it’s literally beyond the ability to write parody.
Do you remember all the way back to the 2020 campaign? Joe Biden, from his basement on May 22nd, video linked into the Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God. At the end of the interview, Charlamagne was baiting Biden, as most radio hosts would, to come back in the future.
I do not have a high opinion of Kamala Harris, and I never have. I think she’s a dishonest, vapid, opportunistic cipher who, in any serious country, would be considered ineligible to run a Post Office, let alone to manage the executive branch of federal government. But I must confess that even I have been astonished by how badly Harris has screwed up during Hurricane Milton. Perhaps this is what inevitably happens when you’re accustomed to throwing any allegation you can think up out into the ether and watching the press turn it into a scandal that benefits you, but . . . well, really? Trying to take on the Governor of Florida during one of the worst hurricanes in recent memory? Even the mafia-esque Longshoremen’s union declined to do that.

DeSantis rips Harris again for butting into Milton response: ‘No role in this process’
DETROIT/WASHINGTON, Oct 10 (Reuters) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Thursday will propose making all interest on car loans fully tax-deductible and taking steps to prevent Chinese automakers from selling vehicles in the United States, according to excerpts of a speech seen by Reuters ahead of remarks in Detroit.
Trump will say at the Detroit Economic Club he plans to impose new tariffs to prevent Chinese automakers from building cars in Mexico and exporting them to the United States, part of an effort to appeal to autoworkers in the battleground state of Michigan.
Trump also will say he will formally notify Mexico and Canada of his intent to renegotiate a North American free trade deal to address concerns about Chinese vehicles, according to the prepared remarks. Vice President Kamala Harris has also said she plans to invoke the renegotiation provision if elected.

On Wednesday, political analyst Mark Halperin dropped some incredibly bad news for the Democrats. According to Halperin, new private polling shows that Kamala Harris is in an extremely dangerous position in critical battleground states.
If the polling data Halperin discusses holds, Harris may be facing an extremely steep uphill battle to secure the electoral votes she needs to win.
Kamala Harris had an obvious hot microphone moment during a briefing on Hurricane Milton.
Donald Trump’s campaign and critics on X are accusing the vice president of being fed what to say during the briefing on Wednesday.
While National Weather Service Director Ken Graham was providing information on the storm, Harris could be seen covering her mouth awkwardly and heard saying: ‘It’s a live broadcast.’
