Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday vowed to “eradicate” what he called the “liberal-fascist” opposition. Georgia has been rocked by violent protests for more than a week after the newly re-elected government announced it was suspending the country’s bid to join the European Union.
