PBS Launching ‘Unprecedented’ Climate Change Programming Effort: ‘Nothing Is a Greater Threat than Our Changing Climate‘

Smiling Greta pleased with her photo-op

PBS is going full-throttle on climate change activism, with its CEO declaring that no greater threat exists today than global warming.

The federally funded broadcaster announced Monday it is launching an “unprecedented multi-year” programming effort focused on climate change, including multiple documentaries and a campaign to target students with “climate-focused content.”

GUNTER: Don’t believe promises of ‘well-paying jobs’ from Trudeau’s Just Transition plan

Well, here’s some good news from the federal Liberal government and Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson. If you’re an energy-sector worker who was laid off by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s upcoming Just Transition program, you can always get a job as a “janitor” or a delivery driver.

Ottawa’s climate policy will prolong Indigenous poverty

Canada’s latest Environment and Climate Change report to the United Nations, submitted at the end of December, fails Canada’s Indigenous people yet again, consigning us to poverty , wiping out our path to prosperity and blocking our ability to bring traditional knowledge and wisdom to bear on protecting the land. This is only the most recent instance in a long line of failures dating back hundreds of years. Proper consultation with Indigenous people before the report’s submission might have prevented that.

British Comedian Lays Waste to Climate Activists in Raucous Oxford Union Debate

The British comedian and podcaster Konstantin Kisin helped win over the crowd at a recent Oxford Union debate on “wokeness” by focusing on the example of climate activists who prefer showy displays of victimhood, such as the defacing of priceless works of art, to pragmatic approaches to addressing the problem.

John Kerry Predicts ‘Worst Consequences‘ of Climate Change

John Kerry Ass Faced Hypocrite

President Joe Biden’s Special Envoy for Climate, John Kerry appeared at the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Tuesday to share predictions of doom should the world fail to cut carbon pollution.

“I am not convinced we’re going to get there in time to do what the scientists said, which is avoid the worst consequences of the crisis,” he said, promoting a “no-carbon” future to prevent global temperatures from rising.

David Staples: Premier Smith ‘sickened’ by staggering disruption planned with Trudeau’s Just Transition

If you’re from Alberta, Saskatchewan or Newfoundland and Labrador, this plan might well strike you as madness, as a federal government that has lost all humility and common sense

The staggering scope of change that Justin Trudeau’s Liberals intend to impose on Canadians with their Just Transition program is made clear in a newly-released government document.

Such is the magnitude of the proposed change that Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said she “felt sick” reading it.

Justin Trudeau is our national nightmare. I wish we could rest easy knowing Junior will be punished at the polls but NDP voters will keep the delusional jackass in power.

Man plugs in electric truck, learns it will take a week to charge

A man plugged in his electric vehicle at home and learned that recharging it would not be a timely venture.

YouTuber TFLEV shared that on Sunday, while at home, he plugged in his brand-new electric Hummer truck, which has a 250kwh battery, only to find that it would take several days for him to get a complete charge.

“Time to complete charge, Friday at 8:30 a.m.,” the YouTuber said. “And range increase is 1 mph.”

Granted it was the “largest” battery on the market but the point is that residential areas are likely to experience power issues due to EV charging unless distribution equipment is upgraded, yet another hidden cost of Justin’s Electric-La-La-Land wish dream.

Greta vs the working class

At a time when Europe is reeling from catastrophic energy shortages, when millions are struggling to afford to heat their homes, it takes a fair bit of brass neck to insist that people ought to keep on suffering. Because make no mistake, that is the message of climate campaigner Greta Thunberg and the thousands of green activists who gathered in Lützerath in western Germany at the weekend to protest against the expansion of a coal mine. Greta, the 20-year-old prophetess of doom, was even dragged away and detained by police, after refusing to leave the area when ordered to.

What climate alarmism about polar bears gets wrong

Canadian government scientists created headline news worldwide just before Christmas when they told the media Western Hudson Bay polar bear numbers appear to have declined by 27 per cent between 2017 and 2021, according to a survey report that still has not been made public. This is called “science by press release,” a practice that is actually anti-scientific, since real science proceeds by publication, criticism, debate and either replication or refutation.

The climate scaremongers: Sky’s extreme weather propaganda

THIS week it was the turn of Sky News to bang the extreme weather drum. Having ludicrously called last year ‘freakishly hot’ in the UK, they claimed: ‘Hot temperatures throughout the year [in the UK] fuelled prolonged drought, threatened crops and drove hundreds of excess deaths’, also noting that ‘last year saw Europe’s worst drought in 500 years, savage heat in India, and multibillion dollar losses from Hurricane Ian in Florida and from flooding in Pakistan. Burning fossil fuels, intensive animal farming and slashing down forests are contributing to the rising global temperature, which in turn is driving costly, violent and extreme weather’.

How the population scare predicted today’s climate hysteria

Paul Ehrlich was a false prophet; how long until we acknowledge the others in our midst?

Stanford professor Paul Ehrlich’s recent appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes reminds us what can happen when those with impressive academic credentials begin making end-of-the-world predictions.

It was 1968 when Ehrlich published The Population Bomb, a book that declared with absolute certainty that “the battle to feed all of humanity is over.” Because so many people were living so close together and consuming so much of the world’s limited resources, the inevitable future was one of “mass starvation” on “a dying planet.” A year after the book’s publication, Ehrlich went on to say that this “utter breakdown” in Earth’s capacity to support its bulging population was just fifteen years away.

Canadians love nuclear power

Although nuclear power continues to be resolutely opposed by much of the mainstream Canadian green movement, a series of illuminating new polls by the Angus Reid Institute show that Canadians are increasingly comfortable with an atomic future.

Warning issued to electric car owners over towing caravans and trailers

Road specialists at Carwow have warned towing caravans could have an “impact” on some electric vehicles braking systems. In certain situations, this could “overwhelm the electrical system” of the vehicle.

The German Greens are playing into Russia’s hands

1.5 degrees means Lützerath stays

The push for clean energy may, perversely, lead to more demand for Russian gas

Throughout German history, reality has been a nuisance to be dealt with, not a fact to be faced. As the philosopher Hegel once quipped, “if facts contradict to my theory, the worse for the facts”.

It’s exactly what the idiot Trudeau is doing.
