Montreal tenant ‘appalled’ after landlord orders removal of Palestinian flag

Voted Ms. Bad Tattoo and Piercings

Kendra Downe says they never imagined they could potentially be facing eviction when they put up a Palestinian flag on their balcony of their Montreal apartment.

Downe put up the flag a few weeks ago, “just like people put up privacy screens. It was about the size of my balcony,” they said.

“And two hours later, I received a text from my landlord asking me to take it down. Not asking – demanding – that I take it down.”

I wonder why she doesn’t tattoo the flag on her forehead.

Iran’s “Moderate” President Is a Just Another Hardliner-in-Disguise to Glide in Its Nuclear Weapons Programme

Before the Biden administration gets too carried away celebrating the election of Iran’s so-called moderate president, it should understand that Masoud Pezeshkian’s victory is nothing more than a ploy to distract world attention away from Iran’s nuclear weapons programme.

While Iranian voters have understandably been focused on electing a new president to replace hardliner Ebrahim Raisi, who was killed in a mysterious helicopter crash in May, the regime has been intensifying its efforts to acquire nuclear weapons.

Children as young as six made badges calling for intifada at charity workshop

Children as young as six were encouraged to make badges celebrating the intifada and praising Palestinian martyrs as part of a charity workshop.

The badges, featuring slogans such as “Long Live the Intifada” and “If I must die, let it bring hope, let it be a tale”, were part of a series of arts and craft activities staged by the charity Metroland Cultures. The event was held in London’s Kilburn on June 28 to raise money for Palestine and Sudan.

They have been criticised as “propaganda designed to sow hatred of Jews” by campaigners against anti-Semitism, who said it is inappropriate for children so young to be encouraged to imitate Palestinian slogans celebrating death and the armed struggle against Israel.

Mohammad Deif, the leader of the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, was targeted in an airstrike in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, Israel’s Army Radio reported on Saturday.

A senior source noted that there was a high likelihood that Deif was killed in the strike, but that confirmation was, as of yet, forthcoming, Israeli state broadcaster KAN reported.

The sinister truth about the ‘Gaza independents’

The recent UK General Election was marred by intimidation and harassment. ‘British politics must soon wake up to what happened at this election’, said Shabana Mahmood, Labour MP for Birmingham Ladywood. Jess Phillips, Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley, said that this was the ‘worst election I have ever stood in’. Even before the election was announced and campaigning had kicked off, now deputy prime minister Angela Rayner spoke in February of being too afraid to leave the house.

First Oct. 7 probe reveals how IDF, police failure led to Be’eri slaughter

The IDF publicized its first probe into Israel’s October 7 failure to prevent Hamas’s invasion, focusing in on the invasion of Beeri in the South, which parallels central Gaza, and which was overwhelmingly destroyed.

During the invasion, 101 Beeri residents were killed, 30 hostages were taken, of which 11 are still being held by Hamas in Gaza, 150 houses were destroyed, and several complete security breakdowns took place.

From the start of Hamas’s breaking through the Beeri security gate at 6:55 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., between 80-220 Hamas terrorists at anyone time (a total of 340 Hamas forces participated) massively outnumbered Israeli defenders, who had only between 13-26 fighters at any given moment.

Why Palestinian Leaders Cannot Make Peace With Israel

Prominent Palestinian politician Mustafa Barghouti has been facing sharp criticism from many Palestinians after he was filmed hugging a former Israeli foreign minister during a recent conference in Italy. Barghouti is being accused of betraying the Palestinians by “promoting normalization” with Israel.

The latest “scandal” erupted after a video that appeared on social media featured Barghouti warmly hugging former Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami during a meeting of parliamentary factions in Italy. Ben-Ami, a historian, is known for his role in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians more than two decades ago. He is also known for his support for the establishment of a Palestinian state next to Israel

The die is cast. Jews have no sustainable future in Europe

Jewish life in Europe will be a thing of the past by 2050. There is no future for them there and their desperate love for the old and beloved continent will die. What was unthinkable yesterday is plausible today and certain tomorrow.

The chief rabbi of the Great Synagogue of Paris, Moshe Sebbag, called for departure:

“There is no future for the Jews in France. I tell all young people to go to Israel or a safer country”.

The president of the Jewish consistory of Alpes-Provence, Zvi Ammar, confessed to Cnews that “in order to no longer live hidden and insecure”, more and more Jews are ready to make aliyah, to move to Israel. “In the mouths of people in every Jewish home comes the question: ‘do we still have a future in France?’. It hurts a lot. Today people feel safer in Israel, despite it being a country at war”.
