McGill ‘baffled’ by police inaction on ‘threatening’ encampment tactics

McGill University’s president has denounced what he describes as intensifying intimidation tactics by supporters of a pro-Palestinian encampment on the school’s downtown campus.

Deep Saini has also disclosed the university’s offer to the protesters, saying it was rejected even though it’s similar to proposals that have led to resolutions at other universities.

Biden: Israel offer is a ‘historic opportunity, Hamas should take it’

Israel has proposed a new three-phase ceasefire deal and plan for the day after the war, President Joe Biden said on Friday afternoon during a special address from the White House.

Biden laid out the terms for the agreement which would begin with six weeks of ceased hostilities in which women, children, elderly and injured hostages would be released.

In the first phase, Israeli forces would withdraw from densely populated areas in Gaza.

WARMINGTON: Doug Ford telling hateful people to stay away from Canada not racist

Ontario Premier Doug Ford just said what many have been thinking since Oct. 7.

But the usual suspects shouting racism didn’t waste a second to pounce.

Of course, there was nothing racist about Ford’s words. In fact, it was the opposite. He talked about protecting all Ontario citizens from all backgrounds.

Majority of Canadians Opposed to Pro-Palestinian Encampments on Campuses: Poll

While pro-Palestinian encampments have been popping up at university campuses across the country this spring, fewer than one-third of Canadians support the demonstrations, according to a national poll.

Forty-eight percent of Canadians polled by Leger this month said they are opposed to the encampments erected in support of Palestine, compared to the 31 percent who support them. Another 21 percent of those surveyed were unsure or had no opinion.

Of the 31 percent to express support for encampments, 11 percent were “strong” supporters, the poll found, while 20 percent “somewhat” supported them.

‘How Dare You?!’ The True Source of the Arab-Israeli Conflict Is a Superiority Complex

The Arab-Israeli conflict will never be fully understood — an essential criterion to solving it — until its ultimate source is recognized. Apart from the blood feud that dates all the way back to Abraham’s sons, Ishmael and Isaac, this source can be summed up in two words: Islamic supremacism.

Islamic doctrine, which teaches that Muslim blood is superior to and far more precious than non-Muslim blood (non-Muslims essentially being on a level with dogs and cattle) imbues Muslims with a sense of supremacism over the rest of mankind. And a good portion of Islamic history further enforces it.

Ford says stop bringing “problems from everywhere else in the world” after Toronto Jewish school shooting – usual suspects heads explode

Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Thursday accused people of bringing “problems from everywhere else in the world” to the province after a recent shooting at a Toronto Jewish girls school.

Ford made those sharp comments alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at a news conference in the city, days after students and staff at Rabbi Yaacov Vidal of the Bais Chaya Mushka Elementary School said they were shaken by what happened, but undeterred.

The usual asshats are going Nutz.

The Diane Abbott row reveals the poison of woke anti-Semitism

Just when we thought the Diane Abbott row was inching towards its grubby conclusion, it has descended into farce. After 24 hours of furious briefing, we’re still none the wiser as to whether the long-serving MP for Hackney North and Stoke Newington – the seat Abbott has held since 1987, when she became the UK’s first black female MP – will stand for the Labour Party at the General Election.

Terry Newman: Universities need to wake up to the reality of the anti-Israel campus movement

Recently, both the Université du Québec à Montréal and McGill University requested injunctions to remove pro-Palestinian encampments from their campuses. McGill was likely thrust into action, perturbed by students blocking a lawn that was needed for convocation ceremonies. But it wasn’t until protesters showed up at the private home of one of its administrators that McGill’s president, Deep Saini, decided the encampment “isn’t a peaceful protest,” and had to be stopped.

Why the Jews?

I hear many people wondering out loud and in print about why so many Hamas supporters parade around with Communist Chinese or retro-Soviet symbols and garb while they try to portray Israel as Nazis. .

Most people see the obvious truth that Israel has only been protecting her people and defending her right to exist. There are also many who understand that Israel is the sole democratic state in the entire Middle East – a state that treats her Muslim citizens as equals in the polity. This while all the Muslim states around her, treat any Jews who have not been expelled or murdered as third class nonentities.

A maniac tried to mow down a group of Jewish students outside a Brooklyn school Wednesday while screaming, “I’m gonna kill all the Jews” in a shocking antisemitic attack.
