ICJ orders Israel to halt Rafah operation, requests additional measures

The International Court of Justice in the Hague ordered Israel to halt its Rafah operation, in a blow to Jerusalem’s diplomatic and judicial systems, on Friday. The court also ordered Israel to enable the entry of all the necessary humanitarian aid to Gaza.

All measures were agreed upon in a vote of 13-2. The two votes against each measure were Julia Sebutinde, Uganda’s representative to the International Court of Justice, and Aharon Barak, former Israeli High Court President and Israel’s appointee to the ICJ Panel.

‘It’s not enough’: Israeli official calls on Canada to be a more steadfast ally

I think that ship has sailed Israel. Justin needs the Hamas vote.

OTTAWA — Canada should be a more steadfast ally to Israel, says Ronen Gilor, Israel’s special adviser on Canada.

In an exclusive interview with the Star, Gilor pointed to several points of tension between the two countries, including that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told the Israeli government in March privately there would be “no more deals” to export Canadian-made light armoured vehicles to Israel despite written assurances that the equipment was not for military use in Gaza.

Democrats Panic Over Jewish Voters

After tossing Jewish voters overboard to accommodate the Hamas supporters of Dearborn, Michigan, the Democrats are starting to get nervous about the choice they made.

Despite the rollout of the campaign, beginning with Senator Schumer’s floor speech blasting Israel, and various liberal Jewish surrogates, including Rep. Jerry Nadler, vocally opposing the campaign against Hamas, the Democrats did not manage to sell Jews on Biden’s betrayal.

I’ll believe this when I see it and frankly I don’t expect to see it.

A recent poll in Canada measuring Jewish support found 33% still likely to vote Liberal. In the US Jews voting Democrat is practically a religious rite.

Islam: Shared activity like rape and murder brings families closer together

An evil father and son have revealed to Israeli investigators how they killed and raped innocent civilians after taking part in the Hamas invasion.

Shameless Jamal Hussein Ahmad Radi, 47, and his son Abdallah, 18, were captured by IDF forces in Gaza and questioned about the atrocities they committed in a kibbutz close to the border.

I bet Junior is hot to bring them to Canada.

South Africa, Putin’s Marxist Cadres, and the International Court of Justice

International Court Of Justice – ICJ

In South Africa, the most important benefactor of the African National Congress party (ANC) since independence in 1994, providing military support for years, was the former Soviet Union. Despite exhibiting a veneer of democracy, the ANC and their associates, remain fervently Communist-Socialist, adopt Marxist-Leninist socialist dogma as their political worldview and hold Russian President Vladimir Putin in high regard.

University of Toronto says students have 24 hours to consider latest offer to end encampment or NOTHING WILL HAPPEN!

The University of Toronto says students involved in a pro-Palestinian encampment have 24 hours to consider its latest offer, which was made public on Thursday.

In a statement that outlines details of the offer, U of T President Meric Gertler says the university will not end partnerships with Israeli universities — something the demonstrators had been asking for — because it is committed to academic freedom.

Philanthropist who gave $30M to U Manitoba condemns ‘hateful’ valedictory speech, university for allowing it

The philanthropist behind the University of Manitoba’s largest-ever personal donation — $30 million — has denounced a speech made by a valedictorian for medicine grads and admonished the university for letting it happen.

… “I’m sure that some of you here today are worried that you might face censure for speaking about the genocidal war that Israel is waging on the people of Palestine, that it could jeopardize your career before it’s even begun,” Newman said in his speech.

“But … surely, I don’t have to remind any of you that advocacy is literally in our job description.”

A video of the convocation that included Newman’s speech had been posted to the U of Manitoba’s YouTube page. By Tuesday, the video was no longer available there.

Pentagon Tacitly Admits Biden’s Gaza Pier Stunt Is A Total Failure

It didn’t take long for the Pentagon to all but confirm that the temporary Gaza port constructed at the behest of President Biden is turning out to be a total disaster.

The admission came during a Tuesday press conference, in which Gen. Patrick S. Ryder, the Pentagon’s spokesman, told reporters that none of the 569 metric tons of food and supplies delivered into Hamas-controlled Gaza via the port have been distributed to Gaza residents by nongovernmental organizations. Constructed by the U.S. military, the $320 million floating port was announced earlier this year during Biden’s State of the Union address, a move designed to cater to the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party base.

And We Do Classes, Too!

Academics are becoming an afterthought on college campuses.

Harvard has increasingly become a place in Cambridge for bright students to gather—that happens to offer lectures on the side,” a student named Aden Barton wrote in Harvard Magazine recently. Colleges and universities have traveled this path for some time. In 2011, Richard Arum and Josipa Roksa published Academically Adrift, which found that the time college students spend studying had dropped by about half since the 1960s, from 25 hours a week to roughly 12.

The Ugly Lessons of October 7

The bloodier the terror attacks, the more stark the eliminationist rhetoric, the more support for a Palestinian state

Hamas’ grisly terror raid on Oct. 7 has proved to be the single most stunningly successful act in gaining support for the Palestinian cause—not among Israeli or American voters, of course, but among top Democratic policymakers, and their counterparts across the Western world. One might think that a campaign of unrepentant killing, torture, rape, and hostage-taking would be disqualifying for a national independence movement. But in Washington, Hamas’ ongoing crimes have resulted in much of the weight of the U.S. government being brought to bear on advancing the cause of Palestinian statehood, and its correlate, the punishment and demonization of the Jewish state.

Nearly 70% of Gaza Aid from US-Built Pier Stolen

Close to three-fourths of the humanitarian aid transported from a new $320 million floating pier built by the U.S. military off the Gaza coast was stolen on Saturday en route to a U.N. warehouse, Reuters reported on Tuesday.

Eleven trucks “were cleaned out by Palestinians” on the journey to the World Food Programme warehouse in Deir El Balah in the central Strip, with only five truckloads making it to the destination.

“They’ve not seen trucks for a while,” a U.N. official told Reuters. “They just basically mounted on the trucks and helped themselves to some of the food parcels.”
