Sick Jews

I doubt that there is any national or religious group that produces the percentage of people who aid those who wish to hurt, let alone kill, that group as do Jews.

When one observes Jews who defend those whose raison d’etre is the annihilation of the one Jewish country on Earth, you have to ask: Why are there no others like them? Were there blacks who defended slavery? Were there Armenians who defended the Turkish mass murder of fellow Armenians during World War I?

The Real Reason Hamas and Egypt Oppose Israel’s Control of Rafah, the Only Border Out of Gaza

On May 6, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) captured the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, drawing condemnations from the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist group and Egypt.

The IDF said it had “intelligence that terrorists were using the border crossing for terror purposes.” A day earlier, Hamas terrorists fired rockets from near the Rafah terminal toward the Kerem Shalom area (near the Israel-Gaza border), killing four Israeli soldiers and wounding several others.

Media Panic that Pro-Hamas Campus Protests May Hurt Biden, ‘Like 1968’

After weeks of defending pro-hams campus protests, the media are now panicking that those same protests might hurt biden’s re-election chances. In the past week, a slew of political commentators have written articles comparing the current situation on college campuses to the anti-war protests of 1968, and warning that a summer of radical leftism may clinch the 2024 election for Donald Trump.

Miss Israel Noa Cochva, an IDF solider, has knife pulled on her as she’s berated as ‘war criminal’ in NYC

An Israeli beauty queen who served as a frontline soldier had a knife pulled on her while being berated as a “little Zionist” in New York City as she urged students to have “peaceful conversations” about Gaza, according to footage of the failed “social experiment.”

Miss Israel Noa Cochva teared up on Instagram after she was repeatedly blasted with anti-Israel vitriol while carrying a sign reading, “I am an [Israel Defense Forces] soldier. Ask me anything” in the protester-packed Washington Square Park near New York University’s campus Monday.

Black Lives Matter files $33 million lawsuit against TIDES Foundation who are helping fund college protests

A progressive nonprofit that has been shelling out cash to anti-Israel protest groups is being sued by Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation for fraud and withholding more than $33 million in donations, a bombshell lawsuit claims.

Tides Foundation, which has managed hundreds of millions in donations for progressive groups since it was founded in 1976, has “refused to honor its promises and continues to commandeer BLMGNF’s donations,” according to the 285-page lawsuit filed in California Superior Court, Los Angeles County, on Monday.

Instead, Tides doled out an undisclosed amount of donations to a radical BLM breakaway group run by anti-police activist Melina Abdullah — who lost a “frivolous” lawsuit against BLMGNF — according to court papers and an attorney for BLMGNF.

Jewish students say they don’t feel safe, as MPs probe antisemitism at universities

OTTAWA – Jewish students from major Canadian universities appeared on Parliament Hill Wednesday to raise the alarm about a rise in antisemitism on their campuses amid the Israel-Hamas war.

They spoke with several Liberal MPs including Anthony Housefather, who helped initiate a parliamentary committee study about antisemitism on campuses scheduled to begin Thursday.
Housefather cited concerns from Jewish students and faculty who say they are experiencing more antisemitic behaviour since Oct. 7.

Terry Glavin: From Ottawa to Vancouver, Canada capitulates to anti-Israel mob

During the week of Yom ha-Shoah, the commemoration of the Holocaust, activists taunted a memorial march that was making its way from the Auschwitz death camp in Poland to the nearby crematoria at Birkenau. In Athens, Greek riot police dispersed a braying mob that was trying to break into a hotel where some Israelis were reported to be staying, at Omonia Square.

A Justin Trudeau Ally Nearly Quit the Party Over its Israel Policy But Decided He Could Better Serve Humanity By Doing Nothing

Justin Trudeau nearly lost a loyal Liberal lawmaker amid rising internal tensions in Canada’s Parliament over the Israel-Hamas war.

Anthony Housefather, an outspoken Jewish MP from Montreal, toyed with leaving his party to join the Conservatives after most of Trudeau’s Liberals voted in favor of a non-binding motion in the House of Commons that took direct aim at Israel. It’s the latest example of how the conflict is straining center-left politics across the globe — and challenging the place of Jewish leaders in mainstream progressive politics.

Jesse Kline: Fear and loathing on the occupied University of Toronto campus

TORONTO — King’s College Circle on the University of Toronto campus was a lot less rowdy on Tuesday morning than it was late last week, when anti-Israel protesters breached the fencing that had been set up around an area intended to host a convocation event and began occupying the sprawling courtyard. But the demonstrators’ messaging was no less contradictory or grotesque.

Israel’s Newest Security Threat – Is the US Next?

The Iranian-orchestrated Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 — which resulted in mass rapes, the murders of 1,200 men, women, children and infants; taking more than 250 hostages and firing thousands of rockets at Israeli towns and cities — has shown that China, which Israel might have thought was an ally, turned out to be, sadly, more of an enemy.

China refused to condemn Hamas and its terrorist invasion of Israel, choosing instead to condemn Israel just a week after the massacre and before Israel had even launched its ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

Ottawa cancels public ceremony for Israeli flag-raising, citing fucking horrid immigration policy concerns

OTTAWA – City officials say they’ve cancelled plans to host a flag-raising ceremony at Ottawa City Hall marking the establishment of Israel because of security concerns.

The Israeli flag will be raised next Tuesday to mark Yom Ha’atzmaut, but a ceremony involving the mayor, diplomats and members of the Jewish community will not go ahead.

The city said it has intelligence that suggests the event would pose “a substantial risk to public safety.” It did not offer details about the nature of that concern.
