Jewish French woman allegedly raped, kidnapped to ‘avenge Palestine’

A Jewish French woman was allegedly raped, kidnapped, and threatened with murder by a man in Gennevilliers who reportedly sought revenge for Palestinians, French media reported on Tuesday night.

The 32-year-old was charged on Tuesday with religiously-motivated death threats and use of narcotics, according to Le Parisien. BFMTV said that the rape allegation is still being investigated, but the prosecution did believe a kidnapping charge was warranted.

Stop the Mideast Money Fueling Campus Anti-Semitism

Combating the anti-Semitism radiating from U.S. college campuses will require work on many fronts. Some of the drivers could take enormous effort to uproot—for example, the DEI culture that has reshaped K–12 and postsecondary institutions. A less frequently discussed factor is easier to address: U.S. universities should stop letting foreign entities shape campus intellectual life.

Centers dedicated to the study of the Middle East, many receiving lavish foreign financial support, do more to promote anti-Zionist and pro-Hamas narratives than virtually any other force on campus. Even a small number of biased faculty can have an outsize influence because the dominant intersectional ideologies leave students primed to embrace anti-Semitic attitudes.

Many Culprits Behind Rise of Antisemitism, Including the Media

Over the last several years, Canadian employers have increasingly brought in “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) trainers to rid their workforces of conscious, and even subconscious, racism. On the face of it, who can object to diversity, equity and inclusion? It is like objecting to Santa Claus.

Unfortunately, these workshops too often have been hijacked by radical ideologues who pitted races against each other. The unhappy story of Richard Bilkszto, who committed suicide after alleging he was deemed a racist by one such trainer for observing that Canadians are not more racist than Americans, was simply the publicly exposed tip of that iceberg.

White people must never have been the target of DEI programs if this article is to be believed.

The author has likely never heard of the ADL I suppose.

More right than he knows to include the media.

Jewish groups call for end to funding for Edmonton Pride centre over its response to Hamas attack

Jewish organizations are calling for funding to be stripped from the Pride Centre of Edmonton, arguing that its “egregious” conduct since the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel ought to disqualify it from government support.

The demand — and flurry of behind the scenes emails — hint at how tensions over Israel’s war on Hamas is affecting civil society relationships in Canada.

Stacey Leavitt-Wright, the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Edmonton, said in an interview that the Jewish community had attempted to schedule a meeting with the Pride centre to discuss the centre’s social media postings and the sense that it was no longer a safe space for the city’s Jews.

Israeli officials to NYT: ‘Thousands of more Hamas terrorists in northern Gaza’

Israeli officials told the New York Times on Monday that in the north of the Gaza Strip, where the IDF has waged intense and difficult fighting, there are still 4,000-5,000 armed Hamas terrorists left.

US officials have said that it is likely that Hamas will not be completely destroyed by military activity. Still, the pace of rebuilding its strength depends on the next steps that Israel will take after the fighting.

Will the American aid be too little, too late for Ukraine?

At the last possible moment, after months of prevarication and with Russian troops on the brink of a major breakthrough in Ukraine, the US Congress voted to approve more than $61 billion worth of military assistance for Kyiv on Saturday afternoon. In a vote that a vocal minority of Republicans had desperately attempted to stop through procedural objections and threats to remove Speaker Mike Johnson, 210 Democrats and 101 Republicans finally joined to support Ukraine. A majority of Republicans — 112 Congress members — voted against.

Radicalized students at elite universities are the next generation of the ruling class.

For many years, American conservatives used to point out examples of liberal hypocrisy by drawing attention to some offensive or outrageous thing that the Left had done, but that had gone unreported or otherwise tolerated by the media, then saying, “If conservatives had done that, you would have raised hell.” The idea was to shame liberals into reforming themselves to become fair and balanced.

It rarely worked, but it’s not hard to see why it might have done, back when the Left at least paid lip service to liberal principles. That’s ancient history. The reason to do it today—the only reason—is to reveal to the Right how decadent the systems that govern our societies have become, and to make clear the grave challenges before us.

Defund Columbia: Robert Kraft pulls his money as other donors blast ‘f*****g crazy’ anti-Israel mob but staff join students’ campus protest in spiraling crisis

Billionaire Robert Kraft has pulled his financial support from Columbia University, saying he’s lost confidence in the Ivy League school’s ability to protect its students amid anti-Israel protests.

‘The school I love so much – the one that welcomed me and provided me with so much opportunity – is no longer an institution I recognize,’ The New England Patriots’ owner and Columbia graduate said on Monday.

‘I am deeply saddened at the virulent hate that continues to grow on campus and throughout our country.’

Politicians’ silence on pro-terror protesters has become the status quo, Jewish groups say

While antisemitic slogans shouted during a weekend anti-Israel protest triggered a rare, online-only rebuke from the prime minister, Canadian Jewish groups blame the deafening silence from Canada’s political leaders for emboldening protesters, resulting in a conspicuous increase in hateful rhetoric.
