A Hundred Days after Gaza’s October 7 (Part 2 of 4)

Inconvenient History from the SS Einsatzgruppen to Hamas

Death, torture, abduction, ending an era in Israel that began in 1948, came literally on the wings of that morning, 7 October, 2023. The hopes and ambitions for peace springing from Camp David and the Oslo Accords, all the rational faith in diplomacy through the quadrilles of the chanceries, were set back to nothing. That realisation is seeping across the traumatised populace of Israel. Nothing can ever be the same again.

Ex-Calgarian-turned-Gaza activist goes missing amid Israeli army advance

A Calgary ex-pat who became an internationally known pro-Palestinian activist has gone missing in Gaza as Israeli troops advanced to where he’d been seeking refuge.

Family and associates of Mansour Shouman fear the man has been either killed or detained by Israeli forces who had begun besieging the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza when he was last heard from Jan. 21.

Hamas releases disturbing new video showing three female Israeli hostages – including two teenagers – begging to be released from Gaza

Palestinian terror group Hamas has released a disturbing new video showing three young Israeli women held hostage in Gaza since the October 7 attack.

The three women have been identified as 19-year-old Daniella Gilboa, 19-year-old Karina Ariev, and 30-year-old Doron Steinbrecher.

This is the first time they have been seen alive since Hamas gunmen brutally kidnapped them on October 7 in the terror group’s assault into southern Israel, although the two younger captives were seen in footage released earlier this month that showed them on the day they were kidnapped.

UN fires staffers who allegedly took part in October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel

The United Nations organization for refugee assistance in the West Bank and Gaza Strip has fired several staffers over claims they took part in the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks on Israel, the agency said Friday.

Gullible Americans are funding Hamas, not starving children

Editor’s Note: following release of our report today, this image of a knife-wielding student who recited martyrdom poetry was just deleted from the UNRWA Jordan Facebook group, which has 37,000 followers.

The images from the war Hamas launched against Israel on Oct. 7 have tugged at the heartstrings of Americans. By that, I don’t refer to the charred ruins of Israeli communities in southern Israel that were devastated by the Hamas pogroms. Nor do I refer to the horrifying evidence of that terrorist rampage of murder, rape, torture and kidnapping that is too graphic for most people to bear. As far as the international media is concerned, those victims were quickly forgotten almost as soon as the murder spree happened and then erased from the collective memories of the West. The pictures and videos of the Palestinians of Gaza, however, who have suffered as a result of the war started by the organization that most of them supported have been a staple of the corporate media’s coverage.

Note the pic is for illustrative reference it concerns an earlier UNWRA expose.

The top U.N. court also dismissed Pretoria’s demand that residents of the northern Gaza Strip be allowed to return to the area immediately.

Canada well positioned to push for Palestinian statehood says Star of Hamas

By now, we’ve all heard the horrific reports of children in Gaza undergoing amputations without anaesthetic or being buried alive under rubble.

Such unimaginable suffering has also, no doubt, happened elsewhere during earthquakes or plane crashes in remote parts of the world, beyond human reach or control.

What makes this situation different is that Gaza is neither remote nor beyond human reach or control.

Why do I get the impression this is official LPC policy?

WARMINGTON: This was a jihad-like terror attack in Canada that no one seems to know about

It’s not every day there is a jihadist-inspired terror attack in Canada related to Israel’s war in Gaza that few seem to know about.

But it did happen and the country is just fortunate no one was murdered in the process. The potential was definitely there.

This Crappy Crackpot Jihadi was a joke. We may not be so lucky next time.

Uncivil Combatants

Hamas’s tactics in Gaza demonstrate how new Department of Defense legal rules could endanger American soldiers and harm U.S. national security.

The Biden administration declared in July that the laws of war require presuming persons and structures in combat areas are civilian, overturning longstanding Department of Defense (DOD) rules. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, echoing the administration’s new position, has pressured Israel to limit its self-defense, citing the effect on Gazan civilians and infrastructure. Hamas, of course, regularly disguises its combatants as civilians, and uses civilian structures such as homes, mosques, schools, and hospitals as military facilities.

“Like…wtf”: Israel’s Arab Citizens Feel Lucky

IDF Sergeant First Class (reserve) Ahmed Abu Latif, 26, a husband and father to a one-year-old baby, was killed on January 22 during the fighting between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Abu Latif, a Muslim citizen of Israel, embodied the spirit of unity and patriotism in Israel in the aftermath of Hamas’s October 7 massacre of Israelis. He also represented a shining example of coexistence and unwavering love for Israel.

NYU Professor Tells Students of Hamas Atrocities: ‘We Know It’s Not True’

Amin Husain added that New York is a ‘Zionist city,’ and bragged about violence against Israel at an event at The New School last month.

An adjunct NYU professor denied reports that the terrorist group Hamas beheaded babies and raped women in Israel on October 7, telling a group of students last month: “We know it’s not true.”

“We live in a Zionist city,” Amin Husain added at the December 5 “teach-in” organized by Students for Justice in Palestine at The New School, according to a video obtained by The Free Press.

“No, let’s be real about this, let’s be fucking real.”

Premier North American Muslim group CAIR now fighting a sex scandal lawsuit after it’s dropped by White House over ‘happy’ Hamas attack remark

A controversial Islamic group — which the White House cut ties with after its director said he was “happy” about Hamas’ terror attack against Israel on Oct. 7 — is facing allegations of sexual assault and harassment.

The suit could see the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) forced to open its books amid claims secret foreign donors are funding its multi-million budget.

Lori Saroya was once, in the words of one person who knows her, the “golden child” of CAIR.

UK: A third of young people say Israel is acting like the Nazis, survey finds

Anti-Semitism campaigners say rhetoric in wake of Oct 7 attack is radicalising ‘generation hate’

A third of young people say that Israel is acting like the Nazis, research for an anti-Semitism charity shows.

In polling conducted in December, 34 per cent of 18- to 24-year-olds agreed with the statement “Israel treats the Palestinians like the Nazis treated the Jews”. The result among all adults was 30 per cent.

The figure marks a record high in the annual survey. In 2022, 23 per cent of Britons agreed with the statement, along with 31 per cent of young people.

Iran is now a ‘legitimate target’ for Israeli missile strikes, senior minister says

Iran is now a “legitimate target” for Israeli missile strikes, one of the country’s most senior ministers has told the Telegraph, raising the prospect of an all out war with Tehran.

In a wide-ranging interview, Nir Barkat, Israel’s economy minister, also said Palestinians from the West Bank would never be allowed to work in the country again and will be replaced by more than a quarter of a million imported foreign workers.

He also complained that the war in Gaza had not been fought aggressively enough.
