Can the Palestinian Authority Be ‘Revitalized’? Can the Cat Guard the Cream?

The Biden administration is continuing to promote the idea of having a “revitalized” Palestinian Authority (PA) govern the Gaza Strip after the Israel-Hamas war. US President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken used the phrase “revitalized Palestinian Authority” to express support for placing the Gaza Strip, currently ruled by the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist group, under the control of the PA, headed by Mahmoud Abbas. On December 2, Vice President Kamala Harris became the latest official to promote the idea that “we have to revitalize the Palestinian Authority” to prepare it for ruling the Gaza Strip after the war.

The White House has further suggested that Palestinians “should be the determining voice” in who governs them.

Hamas is just one part of the threat to Israel and the West

In the wake of Hamas ’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel, most people, especially those on the Right, quickly recognized that Israel ’s battle to destroy Hamas was and is completely justified. Unfortunately, fewer seem to grasp that the destruction of Hamas, while necessary, is not sufficient for Israel’s security.

The fact is Hamas is just one part of a much larger threat that Israel has faced for years. Israel has had to also ward off attacks from the Palestine Liberation Army operating in Judea and Samaria, and other Palestinian terrorist groups such as Islamic Jihad, which recently announced it executed an innocent Israeli woman who had been held hostage for more than a month.

‘Huge risk’ of Christmas attacks by Mohammedans, warns EU

There is a “huge risk of terrorist attacks in the European Union” over the coming holiday season, a senior EU official has said.

European Home Affairs Commission Ylva Johansson said the polarisation in society caused by the Israel-Hamas war was increasing the risk of violence.

Her remarks came days after a tourist was fatally stabbed in Paris.

The EU was making an additional €30m (£26m) available for additional security, Ms Johansson said.

Canada considering options to get extended family of Canadians out of Gaza

Immigration Minister Marc Miller says he is considering options to get the extended family members of Canadians out of the embattled Gaza Strip.

Most Canadians with extended family members in Gaza have been told their family doesn’t qualify to come to Canada, leaving them helpless.

The NDP caucus wrote an open letter to the government asking for special immigration visas that would allow Canadians can get their parents, siblings and adult children to safety.

Bullshit.

‘Israeli female soldiers shot in crotch, vagina, breasts on October 7’

“It was often impossible for families to be shown faces – and it seems as if mutilation of these women’s faces was an objective in their murders.”

Expressions of agony survived their deaths, army reservist Shari Mendes said as she described what experts saw when they identified and prepared for the burial the female bodies of Hamas’s October 7 massacre.

“These women arrived with their eyes opened, their mouths in grimaces, their fists clenched,” said Mendes, whose IDF rabbinical unit worked with the bodies, all of which were brought to the IDF’s Shura base.

IDF Responds to Growing US Criticism of Civilian Casualties in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has responded to growing criticism being expressed by senior U.S. officials regarding the number of civilian casualties suffered by Palestinians throughout Israel’s ongoing war against the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip.

While President Joe Biden and his administration have repeatedly expressed their support for Israel’s efforts to eliminate Hamas in the wake of the group’s unprecedented October 7 surprise attack, top figures such as Vice President Kamala Harris and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin have suggested their ally was not doing enough to mitigate the harm being inflicted upon civilians.

Robyn Fryer Bodzin: Mélanie Joly’s feminist foreign policy has no room for Jewish rape victims

For a country with a ‘feminist foreign policy,’ Canada has remained remarkably silent about Hamas’s sexual violence

If the #MeToo movement taught us anything, it’s that victims of sexual assault should be given the benefit of the doubt and supported as they seek help and justice. Canada has embraced this support of women’s rights and has formally applied it to its foreign policy, with Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly proudly touting the government’s application of a feminist lens to international aid and other endeavours.

Hamas plans show it meant to strike deep inside Israel

Hamas’s battle plans for its attack on Israel on October 7 show that the terrorists were more ambitious than realised, according to evidence gathered by the Israeli military and disclosed on Monday.

Instructions and maps found on Hamas fighters killed in the attacks and in later raids in Gaza suggest that military bases deep inside Israel were among the targets.

The plans, some found on laptop computers taken from terrorists’ vehicles and others in notebooks and phones, give instructions to individual units. There are also booklets about weaponry including how to strike weak spots on Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles.

To Be a Jew in America after 10/7

On Sunday night, hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Philadelphia to march in favor of Hamas, chanting slogans of intifada and calls to remove Jews from Israel “from the river to the sea.” In other words: It was, alas, a pretty typical night for a pro-Palestinian rally in the post-10/7 world. That is until the protesters, on the march, decided to stop by the falafel restaurant Goldie, mass together outside its entrance, and shriek “GOLDIE, GOLDIE, YOU CAN’T HIDE, WE CHARGE YOU WITH GENOCIDE.” The restaurant’s crime? Its owner, Michael Solomonov, is an Israeli-born chef based in Philadelphia, and is donating the store’s proceeds to a medical charity for victims of the Hamas attacks.

‘The media have become stenographers for terrorists’

Since Hamas’s attack on Israel on 7 October, the West’s identitarian elites have tied themselves in knots. The atrocities of that day ought to have challenged their simple-minded view of the world, in which Israel is always the evil aggressor and Palestinians are always the virtuous victims – even when they are Hamas murderers. But that hasn’t happened. Instead, the purveyors of identity politics, especially in the media, have doubled down. Many have gone out of their way to diminish the suffering of Israelis, while excusing the crimes of Hamas.

Did a South Carolina Imam Know the October 7 Attack Was Coming?

Ibrahim Dremali stated in 2021 interview that Hamas was planning a “strong surprise.”

Following the October 7 Hamas assault on southern Israel, reports came out claiming that Hamas had been planning the brutal attack for three years. This puts the spotlight on a South Carolina Muslim leader, Ibrahim Dremali, who, during a live interview, stated that Hamas was planning a “strong surprise” involving new rockets he said Hamas had obtained. If Dremali did know about this far-reaching act of terrorism – an act that included American abductions – perpetrated by a group found on the US terror list and whom he has a relationship with, prior to the attack taking place, this would make him an accessory to the crime in need of facing justice.

Hamas raped men as well as women during October 7 attack

Israeli investigators probing the fallout of the brutal October 7 attacks have found evidence that men as well as women suffered sexual violence and rape at the hands of Hamas and Islamic Jihad attackers, activists have claimed.

Yael Sherer, a spokeswoman for Israel’s Survivors of Sexual Violence advocacy group, said there was physical evidence as well as eyewitness accounts of sexual violence perpetrated against both sexes amid the attacks.

‘There was sexual violence and rape in these communities in the south of Israel… we have a few living survivors – not a lot – of both genders. It didn’t only happen to women, it happened to men as well,’ she told BBC Radio 4.

Traders with prior knowledge of Hamas attacks made millions shorting Israel, claims report

Suspicious stock market activity suggests more than $100m made betting against Tel Aviv shares prior to Oct 7 massacre

Investors with prior knowledge of the Oct 7 Hamas massacre earned at least tens of millions of pounds short-selling Israeli stocks in the days before, according to a report.
Traders with potential links to Hamas put huge bets against the Israeli economy in the run-up to the attack and could have made more than $100 million (£79.3 million), said the 60-page study by Robert Jackson Jr, of New York University School of Law, and Joshua Mitts, of Columbia Law School.

NDP calling on Liberals to establish special immigration measures to help Canadians with families in Gaza

As Israel’s ground offensive expands across the Gaza Strip, the NDP is urging the Liberals to immediately create special immigration measures to help Palestinian-Canadians reunite with family members from Gaza.

The measures would facilitate the evacuation of extended family members of Canadians and permanent residents in Gaza.

The Hamas-controlled territory has been targeted with Israeli airstrikes and a ground offensive since the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, which killed roughly 1,200 people.

Just what we need more Hamas supporters.
