Pro-Palestinian protesters, one carrying swastika, swarm Midtown in bid to derail Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting

Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the streets surrounding Rockefeller Center Wednesday, clashing with NYPD cops and chanting “river to the sea,” long seen as an antisemetic slogan, in an effort to derail the annual tree lighting in support of Gaza.

Waving Palestinian flags and signs calling for the “end to genocide,” the ralliers gathered along Sixth Avenue alongside hordes of tourists waiting in line to see the iconic ceremony.

Parents Magazine Warns of ‘Islamophobia,’ Blames Child-Killing Israel, Not Hamas

A rude surprise awaits when Hamas shows up at the Parents Mag Christmas Party

Who had Parents magazine on their bingo card as running one of the most one-sided stories on the Israel-Hamas war? The magazine of child-raising tips, online-only since 2022, has grown-up to be a home of ignorant rants like a smear against Moms for Liberty, “How ‘Klanned Karenhood’ Is Infiltrating Schools.”

Contributor Syeda Khaula Saad didn’t try to disguise her slant in “How To Talk to Kids About Islamophobia.” The sub-head served as a sample of Hamas-denial: “As attacks on Palestine intensify, anti-Muslim rhetoric and violence have increased worldwide. Here’s some guidance on how to explain Islamophobia to children.” It’s a clumsy piece of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israeli propaganda under the guise of one of those sensitive “how to talk to your children” pieces.

Local social justice warrior shocked Hamas crocodile will not keep promise to eat him last

Why a social justice warrior is defending himself against antisemitism and the ‘left I’ve been aligned with for decades’

He is a paragon of equity activism, a social justice warrior long before the concept was conceived, and a self-described raging lefty.

For those whose memories extend back to the 1970s and ’80s, when Toronto had not yet awakened to societal injustices, Dr. Philip Berger was a hero: Among the first to operate an AIDS clinic, to provide clean syringes for intravenous drug users, to press for methadone treatment for addicts, to champion the poor and marginalized, to condemn police brutality, to oppose extra-billing by doctors. For all that advocacy and much more, Berger was invested with the Order of Canada.

Qatar fears Mossad assassinations in Doha

With Hamas leaders living in the capital could Israel strike from a distance?

Israel has promised Qatar that it will not try to assassinate Hamas leaders living in the Gulf state — but only for now.

After the October 7 attacks, Israeli leaders promised vengeance against the whole leadership of Hamas, which is split between Gaza and overseas capitals, including Istanbul and Beirut. The group’s top political leaders are based in Doha, the capital of Qatar, by historic agreement with the country’s western allies which favour it as a venue for negotiations when necessary.

Protesters vow continued ‘civil disobedience’ until feds issue call for permanent Israel-Hamas ceasefire

Amid a temporary pause in hostilities in Israel’s war on Hamas and the agreed-upon release of hostages, organizers behind a protest that disrupted a big-ticket Liberal Party fundraiser last week are vowing to keep up the pressure around the country until they hear “an unequivocal call for an immediate ceasefire” from the federal government.

However, one MP says some of those calls and acts cross the line, and they’ve become concerned for the safety of their staff when demonstrations take place at constituency offices.

I think we have a domestic Hamas problem on our hands.

Will the deal with the devil force Israel to end the war?

Israel signed a hostage release deal with Hamas, brokered by the Qatari government and with the support of the Biden Administration. Although priceless hostages were freed as a result and the Israeli government vows to resume the war, this remains a very dangerous deal and epitomizes the warped, thinking and conceptions that led to the massacre and failures Israel suffered on the 7th October.

The Hamas of Oct 7 will not change because of a truce.

Israel says it is checking Hamas claim that ten-month-old baby Kfir Bibas has been killed alongside his mother and brother in Gaza

Israel today said it is checking claims by Hamas that Kfir Babis, a baby who was snatched and taken into Gaza by the terrorists, was killed in an Israeli airstrike alongside his mother and brother.

Hamas’ armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades claimed, without providing evidence, that the 10-month-old baby, his mother Shiri Silberman-Babis, 30, and four-year-old brother Ariel, were killed in an Israeli bombardment before the truce was announced.

Kfir’s father Yarden, who was taken hostage by the terrorists, was not mentioned in the statement.

Why Aren’t Women’s Groups Condemning Hamas?

‘We have come so far in believing survivors of rape and assault in so many situations,” wrote the former Meta executive and founder of LeanIn.org, Sheryl Sandberg, in a recent CNN op-ed. And yet, Western organizations supposedly devoted to women’s issues have spent the weeks since the 10/7 massacre of Israeli civilians — a slaughter that featured the methodical rape, abuse, and torture of Hamas’s female victims — laying low. In conflicts elsewhere around the globe, Sandberg observed, evidence that rape has been used as a weapon of warfare “evoked a loud response from global women’s organizations.” But similar crimes committed by Hamas have not.

The Treachery of Gazan Day Laborers

The repayment of evil for good.

In order to help people in Gaza, where unemployment is high, the Israeli government has in recent years allowed thousands of Gazans to work in Israel as day laborers, where they earn salaries that are three to five times what they can earn in Gaza itself. This past year, the number of Gazans receiving Israeli work permits rose to 20,000; in Judea and Samaria, the number of permits for Palestinians increased to 100,000. What Israel has now discovered is that many of those Gazan workers collected intelligence on Israel and provided it to Hamas.
