A pair of Conservative MPs will try to compel a CBC executive and a journalism standards director to appear before a House of Commons committee to defend the company’s language guide — which discourages the use of the words “terrorism” and “terrorists” when describing attacks and their perpetrators.

Hundreds of people were reportedly seeking shelter at the hospital at the time of the blast, which the Hamas has called a ‘horrific massacre’ and a ‘crime of genocide’. The group alleges that ‘hundreds of victims are still under the rubble’.

Israel has alleged that Hamas terrorists used first aid kits distributed by the United Nations during their murderous raid into the south of the country.
