As part of an attempt to persuade the United States and the rest of the international community that the Palestinians are seeking to create a democratic state “based on the rule of law and human dignity,” the Palestinian Authority leadership last week published a draft of the Palestinians’ temporary “constitution.”

The 162-article draft “constitution,” however, shows that, if and when the Palestinians have a state of their own, it would actually not be different from the two mini-states they have had for the past two decades: the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank.

“If Jewish students ever needed a secure path to Jewish education, we need it now more than ever.” That’s the basic argument that the group Grassroots for Affordable Jewish Education has advanced in court in hopes of changing Ontario’s unique school-funding situation: public boards, English and French, get funding, as do Catholic boards, English and French — but no others.

Canada’s former antisemitism envoy Irwin Cotler is warning that the abolition of the position by Prime Minister Mark Carney is ill-advised and could make Jews less safe at a time of rising antisemitism and Holocaust denial.

Mr. Cotler, also a former Liberal justice minister and attorney general, is urging the federal government to revisit the decision to abolish the post of Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism, a role he held for three years after it was created in 2020 by former prime minister Justin Trudeau.

A new website run by students in Montreal aims to create a permanent archive of antisemitic incidents at Concordia University since the October 7 massacre.

Visitors to the site will be able to read the history of antisemitism at Concordia, view an archive of events that includes photos and videos, and make submissions, which will be reviewed and verified before becoming part of the archive.

A good deal of what the world thinks it knows about the supposed “genocide” in Gaza is due to the efforts of Hussam Abu Safyia. In October 2023 and December 2024, Safyia penned two guest essays in the New York Times, giving agog Times readers the lurid, gritty details of what it was like to try to do the work of a physician while the rapacious Israeli war machine racked up ever more innocent victims.

The New York Post just revealed that the Gazan doctor who wrote two opinion pieces in the New York Times, accusing Israel of genocide after October 7th, is actually a Hamas terrorist himself.

What is the terror group Hamas’s true position regarding demands to lay down its weapons and the formation of the Board of Peace headed by US President Donald J. Trump?

Hamas is clearly unfazed by Trump’s repeated threats that it must give up its weapons. The terror organization maintains that Israel is the one that needs to be disarmed. Hamas has become used to Trump’s recurring threats over the past year — especially with Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Trump’s new Board of Peace to make sure that Hamas is left untouched. Hamas is apparently convinced that Trump’s threats are just a means of scaring the terror group.

One of the most persistent myths since October 7, 2023, is that college students organically gravitated toward militant pro-Palestinian activism. On those campuses that saw the most aggressive demonstrations, in fact, radical elements may have seeded the ground for disruptive protests.

As Qatar and Turkey are set to play a key role in US President Donald J. Trump’s “Board of Peace” for the Gaza Strip, it is important to note that both countries do not believe in any peace process between Israel and the Arab and Islamic countries, and they continue to embrace and sponsor Islamists who support Islamist terrorists.

President Trump unveiled his international Board of Peace during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, expanding on his vision for a global body to rival the United Nations and claiming that Israel’s war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip was all but over.

“They’re down to little fires,” Trump said of the situation in the Palestinian enclave, which has been shattered by more than two years of fighting. “We can put them out very easily.”

Unfortunately Muslims are never bored of killing Jews and Infidels so I have little hope that this initiative will do much good.
