As a lifelong Jewish Democrat, it pains me to say this.

I have requested anonymity for this essay because there is intense social pressure on American Jews to be anti-Israel, especially on campuses. I am a professor at a liberal arts college where there is intense hostility toward Israel; my Zionism has already caused me to become a pariah on my campus.

If I was to publicly take the next logical step — conclude that drastic political changes are required to stem the public tide of Jew-hatred, even as drastic as supporting the presidential candidate “they” all uniformly despise — I sincerely believe my personal safety would be in question. That is why this essay both needs to be published and to be anonymous. The situation is that dire.

I suppose half-awake is better than not at all. The comments are very good.

‘We feel alone’: Jews wonder if they have a future at McGill University

In 1926, McGill University imposed a ban on Jewish students. Like other elite colleges at the time – including Harvard, Yale, Columbia and the University of Toronto – the school viewed with suspicion the increasingly Jewish inflection of its student body. Raising the admission standards for Jewish applicants, McGill succeeded in dropping enrolment levels of Jews.

Trudeau’s Liberals face threat by Muslim staffers to pull support for party in Montreal byelection, citing government’s stance on Gaza

The Liberal Party of Canada is facing a revolt by ministerial staffers, mostly of Arab and Muslim origin, over the Trudeau government’s handling of the war in Gaza and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict generally.

Fifty-two Arab and Muslim staffers working in the Liberal government signed a letter addressed to “the leader of the Liberal Party” that says they will not participate in its byelection campaign to hold on to the seat of LaSalle–Emard–Verdun, left vacant by the resignation of former Liberal justice minister David Lametti.

Referring to “the increasing push for Liberal staff members to phone bank and door knock,” the letter obtained by CBC News warns that “while many of us started our political careers in elections as volunteers, we can no longer in good conscience campaign for a party that excludes us and our values.”

“Death to Israel” = “Stance on Gaza”

This will not get better for the Jews.

Especially if European nations serve as a valid precedent.

Belgium, Germany, France, Sweden, England etc all suffer for having allowed Muslims to settle.

Islam only ever brings blood.

Iran’s War Against Israel – From the West Bank

The armed wing of the Iran-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) announced on August 26 that five of its members were “martyred while performing their combat duty in the West Bank.” One of the gunmen, Yazan Daraghmeh, a commander of the Tubas Battalion militia, was killed in a “work accident”: while planting an explosive device that was supposed to be used against Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers in his hometown of Tubas in the northern West Bank. The four other gunmen, Oday Abu Naasa, Ahmed al-Anteer, Taher Raddad, and Mosab al-Muqasqas, were killed in recent clashes with the IDF. They belonged to similar armed groups in the cities of Jenin and Tulkarem, also located in the northern West Bank.

Fred Hahn Creepy as Fuck

Survey Shows Majority of Muslim College Students Hate Jews

65% of Muslim students either hate Jews or Israel.

Campus antisemitism is a problem, but reports focus on the experiences of Jewish students rather than the identity of the perpetrators. Media reports hesitate to name anyone. Jewish organizations zero in on campus hate groups like Students for Justice in Palestine, but that only tells us so much about why antisemitism has become so widespread at certain universities.
