Muslim Terror Attack In Solingen: German Anti-Terror Unit Arrests Knife Attacker In Asylum Seeker’s Residence

SEK storms asylum home! Suspect arrested

Solingen (NRW) – Elite police officers from the special operations command (SEK) stormed a refugee shelter following the terrorist attack in Solingen. A suspect was arrested.

The asylum accommodation is located just 300 meters from the Fronhof, the site of the attack. And 150 meters from the place where investigators found the suspected murder weapon in the afternoon – the knife with which the attacker killed three people and seriously injured eight on Friday evening.

The “Festival of Diversity” became a day of tears

Solingen (NRW) – It was supposed to be a lively anniversary celebration under the motto “Festival of Diversity”. But at around 9:40 p.m. the cheers in front of the stage at Fronhof died down and instead screams and panic filled the city center. At least one armed man stabbed visitors to the 650th anniversary of Solingen (NRW) with a knife, killing three people and injuring eight.

The day after the atrocity, countless questions remain unanswered, and witnesses and residents of the city are in shock. Two men (56 and 67 years old) and a woman (56) are dead. A youth (15) is in police custody. It is unclear whether he is the perpetrator and whether he had accomplices.

Islamic State claims responsibility for German festival ‘terror attack’

The Islamic State on Saturday claimed responsibility for an attack on festival goers in the German city of Solingen, in which a knifeman killed three people and wounded eight others in a stabbing rampage.

Authorities were last night still hunting for the suspect, who deliberately cut at his victims’ throats according to police.

In a statement on its official mouthpiece Amaq, IS said the attack targeted a gathering of Christians for “the cause of Palestinians and Muslims”.

Ottawa health-care workers sign pro-Palestinian petition aimed at hospital CEOs

Almost 400 health-care workers have signed an open letter taking Ottawa hospital CEOs to task for withdrawing from Capital Pride events.

“As health-care workers at CHEO, TOH, and in the Ottawa area, we recognize that advocacy is a core tenet and duty of our roles” said the open letter, which was posted online Monday, only days after CHEO and The Ottawa Hospital announced they were withdrawing citing safety and inclusivity and the Jewish Federation of Ottawa said it could not support an event that “marginalizes Jewish 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and the broader Jewish community.”

Canada banned military exports to Israel — but critics say there’s an ‘absolutely appalling’ loophole

OTTAWA — The Canadian government is being accused of backpedaling on its promise to suspend arms exports to Israel after the U.S. government announced a plan to sell made-in-Canada explosive mortar cartridges to the Israeli government.

Last week, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken approved a sale to Israel of 50,400 explosive mortar cartridges worth roughly $83 million. The cartridges are expected to be manufactured by Québec-based General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems Inc. and delivered in 2026, pending congressional approval.

Explosion outside French synagogue injures police officer

An explosion took place outside a synagogue in southern France on Saturday morning, which police are treating as attempted arson.

It was caused by two cars being set alight outside the Beth Yaacov synagogue in La Grande-Motte, authorities said. One of the vehicles contained a hidden gas bottle.

France’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin called the incident “an obviously criminal act”.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, he wrote: “I want to assure our Jewish fellow citizens and the municipality of my full support”, adding that all means were being mobilised to find the perpetrator.

John Ivison: Union finally does the right thing after a whole lot of wrong

Creepy as fuck Fred Hahn

The news that the national board of the Canadian Public Employees Union has called on its vice-president, Fred Hahn, to step down, after posting an antisemitic video, feels like a tipping point.

The union said in a release that it has lost confidence in Hahn, who is also president of its political wing, CUPE Ontario, for posting a digitally manipulated video that showed a Jewish Olympic athlete leaping off a diving board and turning into a bomb.

Canada’s public service unions appear to be infested with Fred Hahn types. They really need to smashed.

The Left’s Role in the Rise of Antisemitism

Progessives looked the other way as antisemitism became a feature, not a bug, in their ideology.

Recently, a statue of Anne Frank in Amsterdam was vandalised with graffiti. The word “Gaza” was scrawled in red paint across the podium of the statue, which has been erected in a park close to where Frank and her family lived before being forced into hiding. In response, the city’s Mayor, Femke Halsema, stated, “No Palestinian has been helped by smearing her so precious statue. … Whoever it was, shame on you! There is no excuse for this.”

Cowardly Hamas terror chief stalls cease-fire deal with ‘don’t kill me’ demand

Yahya Sinwar, the new head of Hamas, tossed yet another wrench into Gaza cease-fire talks with an rumored demand for a “don’t kill me” clause in any deal with Israel.

The mastermind of the Oct. 7 atrocities reportedly wants Jerusalem to guarantee his safety — permanently.

Never mind his years of tough talk that it would be an honor to die fighting Israel, nor his opposition to any cease-fire before his recent rise to head the terror group.

Canada pushing Israel on court orders, Joly says

The Canadian government is pushing Israel to accept the emergency orders of the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide in Gaza, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly says.

At the same time, Canada is asking South Africa to use its connections in Iran and Hamas to push for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Ms. Joly told The Globe and Mail in an interview on Thursday.

I bet all Israel hangs on her every word.

A mass bomb threat against Jews? Who could have seen that coming?

If only there were signs.

If only we could have foreseen – somehow – that the climate in Canada would become so toxic toward Jews that now, in August of 2024, more than 100 Jewish institutions would receive a bomb threat, warning that the buildings’ occupants “will all end up in a pool of blood.”

“None of you deserve to keep living,” it read.

How did we get here?

Mohammedans cancel Trudeau’s scheduled opportunity to kiss their butts

Meeting between Trudeau and Muslim leaders in Quebec called off after many refuse to attend

A meeting between Muslim leaders in Quebec and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau planned for this afternoon north of Montreal — weeks ahead of a critical byelection in the city — was cancelled after many of those invited refused to attend, CBC News has learned.

“Many members of our community continue to feel angry and frustrated with a government that in their view simply hasn’t operated with integrity in relation to what is happening in Gaza, or in addressing the steep rise of Islamophobia in Canada,” the National Council of Canadian Muslims told CBC News in a media statement.
