Hate Crimes?

With the recent murder of Charlie Kirk and that of the kids at the Annunciation Catholic Church, the subject of “hate crime” has come up again. I suggest that people who can’t control the conversation by other, more logical means generally put forward the concept of hate speech. I’ll go further and suggest that we should be removing all hate crime legislation from the books because it is so very arbitrarily enforced.

Hate Crime: Leaked docs show Ontario school staff are being trained to believe the term ‘family’ is rooted in white supremacy

Now showing more anti white bullshit

The Waterloo Regional District School Board (WRDSB) has apparently approved training material for staff that alleges the term “family” is racist.

According to internal documents published June 4 by independent media outlet Juno News, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation is telling staff at the Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School that the term “family” is rooted in white supremacy.

Can you imagine the outrage in our media if this slur were leveled against Muslims or Jews?

I hope parents launch a hate crime complaint.

Poilievre’s plan to deport haters for hate crimes is hateful says Star

Poilievre’s plan to deport residents under the pretense of hate crimes is not leadership. It’s dangerous politics

Over the years, as an immigration lawyer I’ve had the privilege of representing countless newcomers to Canada — refugee claimants, permanent residents and future citizens. And if there’s one thing these clients share, it’s a deep commitment to following the law.

They know — often better than most — that their path to citizenship depends on it.

That’s why Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s recent threat to deport non-citizens involved in “antisemitic crimes” isn’t just alarming — it’s dishonest.
