Sabrina Maddeaux: Are synagogue shootings a tipping point that will lead to real action?

Hamas support rally Toronto

The synagogue shootings continue. This is a sentence that seems like it belongs in an archival newspaper clipping from Nazi Germany, not a Canadian newspaper in 2026. This month, three separate Greater Toronto Area synagogues were hit by gunfire within a five-day span. Not even a week later, an armed man plowed his vehicle into a Detroit synagogue, which had 140 children inside at the time, before being killed by security.

There will be no action.

There is no political will because our elite are complicit in the crimes.

You don’t import Islamist hate unless you share it.

One day if we are lucky we will interrogate those responsible.

I can tell you now I will not believe anyone’s claim of naive innocence.

Here’s How the Policies of the Radical Left Set an Islamic Terrorist Loose on Virginia

Virginia’s former Republican attorney general, Jason Miyares, posted to social media revealing that a policy from the state’s former Democrat governor Ralph Northam prevented Old Dominion University from learning about the criminal background of the Islamic terrorist Mohamed Bailor Jalloh.

Tactical Tourism: How Young Extremists Acquire Skills Abroad

Ibrahim Kayumi and Emir Balat – Muslim Terrorists

When Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, and Emir Balat, 18, were arrested outside New York’s Gracie Mansion carrying improvised explosive devices, the immediate headlines focused on the plot itself. But the more revealing detail may lie in their travel history.

Federal investigators are examining Balat’s extended stay in Istanbul, along with his return from Turkey earlier this year. They are also reviewing Kayumi’s travel to Istanbul and Saudi Arabia in the months preceding the incident. Istanbul in particular has long appeared in Western counterterrorism investigations as a logistical crossroads for individuals moving between Europe, the Middle East, and militant environments beyond.

French police detain brothers over ‘lethal and antisemitic’ plot

French anti-terror prosecutors have opened an investigation into two brothers suspected of plotting a “lethal and antisemitic” attack.

They say the men – described as Moroccan-Italian nationals aged 20 and 22 – were picked up last week in a car in northern France.

Officers found a loaded semi-automatic weapon, a bottle of hydrochloric acid and a flag of the Islamic State group in the vehicle, the prosecutors say.

Al-Quds Day shows how Canada tolerates intolerance

A society that tolerates intolerance – as we now do – can pass as many laws as it likes against “hate” but it won’t reduce hate-motivated crimes.

We have never had as many laws against hate as exist today in Canada and yet we have never seen more hatred on our streets – as illustrated yet again by Saturday’s annual hate-fest known as the Al-Quds Day rally in Toronto outside the U.S. consulate, which was recently shot up.

The UK’s collapse to Islam is accelerating

News broke the other day that Winston Churchill’s image will be removed from the United Kingdom’s banknotes.  (American Thinker’s Andrea Widburg did a splendid job covering that and all its implications here.)

Evidently flora and fauna are less “controversial” so we will see flowers and hedgehogs on their currency instead.  That’ll work until the institutional left finds something objectionable about flowers and hedgehogs, but here we are.

Of course, any nation is free to redesign its currency at will, but this choice is consistent with the U.K.’s recent string of decisions to willingly, even lustily accelerate their own civilizational erasure.

I’m a Muslim woman who escaped Islamic radicals in Iraq. Now I see an even more terrifying threat growing in America

When news broke Thursday of the synagogue attack in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, the pattern felt grimly familiar: Another Jewish house of worship, another act of violence.

As I watched the media reports and anxiously waited for casualty numbers, it was clear that despite the different time and different place, the fundamentalist ideology that I grew up with in the Middle East has now taken hold in Middle America.

Antisemitism is rising across the West, with hatred that once lingered along the margins now appearing openly. Jewish communities feel its impact daily, from increased security at synagogues to harassment on college campuses and families hesitating to display their Jewish identity in public.

Britain’s Islamic Takeover Accelerates: Armed Sharia Vigilantes on Horseback Terrorize Manchester While Starmer’s Cops Refuse to Intervene

In a scene straight out of a dystopian nightmare, self-styled “Sharia patrols” on horseback charged through Manchester’s streets on March 4, 2026, chasing down peaceful demonstrators celebrating the end of Iran’s brutal Islamic Republic regime.

Imam to Muslims at Minnesota mosque: ‘We are their replacement’

An imam told worshippers at a Twin Cities mosque that Muslims are the “replacement” for those who once held positions of privilege in America, declaring during a sermon that “this is our moment.”

Imam Abdul Malik delivered the remarks on Jan. 23 at the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, where he urged Muslims in Minnesota to seek positions of influence across American institutions — including mayor, police chief, congressional leadership and even the presidency.

We the People Never Voted for Mass Islamic Immigration

Societal transformation without representation.

“Islam is largely alien to American history—it certainly didn’t come into the United States on the Mayflower,” freshman Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Tex.) observed last month. Gill continued: “It’s something that we deliberately imported as a matter of immigration policy into our country.”

Quite right. But who, exactly, is the “we” who implemented such a reckless—indeed, suicidal—act of mass cultural importation? It’s a frustratingly difficult question—and one we ought to be asking, especially in light of recent events.

Al-Quds rally in Toronto to proceed as planned despite Ford’s push to stop it, lawyer says

Fatima Ford is pleased her cousin’s interference was thwarted

… As of 8 p.m., Stephen Ellis, the legal counsel for the rally organizers, said he has not received a notice yet.

He told CTV News Toronto that the province won’t succeed in getting an injunction and is confident that the event will proceed.

“Mr. Ford is pandering to the most backward political elements in our society. What he’s looking to do is to pander to that section of people who are uncritically supporting Israel, no matter what it does. So, his tweet is a disgrace. I’m not surprised,” Ellis said.
