Muslims tied to Islamic State plotted fatal Ontario restaurant shooting: Crown

A gunman who is accused of killing a young Ontario man and shooting four of his family members at their small Mississauga restaurant in 2021 was allegedly part of a trio who had pledged allegiance to the listed terrorist group Islamic State, a Crown attorney said in an opening statement in the Brampton murder trial this week.

The victim, 25-year-old Naim Akl, became a target when he realized the loyalties of the group, which operated a warehouse business in the Greater Toronto Area, and planned to go to Canadian authorities, said Crown Attorney David D’Iorio.

Joe Adam George: By coddling Islamism, Canada sleepwalks into a crisis of extremism

Since the deadly October 7 attacks in Israel, much ink has been spilled on the naked antisemitism and anti-western hatred raging across major Canadian cities, even as concerns mount over radicalization, terrorism and foreign interference. While these are acute national security issues that should be appropriately addressed, they are merely symptoms of a far bigger and deadly threat that requires more attention: Islamism, or Islamist extremism.

Mass deportations are in order and the bastards that orchestrated the mass import of the death cult should be in shackles.

I’ll probably be arrested for Islamophobia before that happens.

Proponents Of Multiculturalism & Other Bad Ideas remain silent over Canada’s Anti-Semitism Crisis

Former general criticizes Canada’s failure to combat antisemitism

VICTORIA, Canada – Canada is failing not just its Jewish community but all of its citizens by fostering hate and violent rhetoric through the inaction of the country’s leadership, former Canadian Armed Forces chief of the Defense Staff Gen. (ret.) Rick Hillier told The Jerusalem Post in an interview on Monday.

The ex-head of the Canadian military said he didn’t go far enough in a May 1 National Post article warning that Ottawa has deserted its Jewish citizens as antisemitism proliferates across the northern country’s cities and academic campuses.

“We didn’t just fail, and are not just failing 400,000 Jewish Canadians; we’re failing 41 million people. And to me, that’s bloody unacceptable,” said Hillier.

Islam, the Left and the DEI/CRT Cabal are the prime movers of anti-semitism in Canada. The people responsible for allowing the mass import of Muslims will never admit to having made a mistake and this being Canada they will get off Scott-Free.

Nor will they face consequences for the anti-White racism that is the core of their deranged beliefs.

They likely still think it’s a good idea. When they find a way to blame it on White People they’ll speak up.

They don’t even try to hide it anymore.

I would like some clarification on which victims the MP is referring to. Jews and Whites or only Jews for being classed as White?

I get the impression that rather than abolish DEI the goal is to gain victimhood status. The ADL among other organizations is seeking such an accommodation in the US – See Jewish communal leaders still committed to DEI framework, despite widespread criticism

Europe is walking the terror tightrope

As tensions rise, Islamist groups are once again quietly preparing attacks in Europe – with the Olympics and Euro 2024 as possible targets

The threat of violent extremism in Europe has been intensifying since Hamas launched its horrific assault on Israel on October 7. The first Olympic Games to be held in Paris for 100 years are likely to feature a pared-down opening ceremony, and European football is boosting security amid threats of attack by Islamic State (IS) ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament.

Political tension is on the rise, as evidenced by the shooting of the Slovakian prime minister, Robert Fico. Across the continent, police have been busting Islamist cells planning mass-casualty attacks. American security agencies fear that white supremacists and Islamist extremists could find common cause in their opposition to democratic government.

Ebrahim Raisi’s Iran was one of brutal repression

There are no doubt some who are saddened by the death of Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi. Iran-backed Islamist militias, for instance, have clearly been dismayed by the news of his fatal helicopter crash on Sunday. Lebanon’s Hezbollah extended its ‘deepest condolences’ to Iran’s leaders. Hamas, the anti-Semitic terror group currently fighting Israel in Gaza, went even further to express its ‘feelings of sadness and pain’. Its leaders pledged their ‘complete solidarity’ with the Islamic Republic.

Petition urges governments to consider antisemitic protest chants ‘hate speech’

… The petition, which closes for signatures at the end of this week, urges the federal government to provide clarity to law enforcement and provincial attorneys general on whether rallying cries such as “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free,” “Globalize the Intifada” and “Long Live Oct. 7” contravene portions of Sec. 319 of the Criminal Code of Canada concerning the wilful promotion of hatred.

Grifters hoping to earn a slot in the DEI victimhood hierarchy describe “It’s OK to Be White” as hate speech in order to demonize and fund raise off of those they disagree with.

The Pallie phrases listed above are ugly but not hate speech.

Bad idea.

U.S. Supreme Court spurns former Guantanamo Bay detainee Omar Khadr‘s appeal of murder conviction

Justin will be in tears at the news.

The U.S. Supreme Court turned away on Monday a Canadian former Guantanamo Bay detainee’s bid to vacate his convictions for the 2002 murder of an American soldier in Afghanistan and other crimes he committed at age 15 to which he later pleaded guilty.

The justices declined to hear an appeal by Omar Khadr, now age 37, of a lower court’s refusal to hear his case on the grounds that he had waived his right to appellate review as part of a 2010 plea agreement before a U.S. military commission.

Germany’s Woke Government Wavers as Islamists Declare Holy War

The German government’s laissez-faire approach to Islamism has moved the problem into a taboo zone that has strengthened the Islamists.

More than a thousand Islamic extremists recently marched through the streets of Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city, demanding that the European Union’s most populous and powerful country be reconstituted as an Islamic state governed by sharia. The demonstration, organized by a fast-growing Islamist group called Muslim Interaktiv, was allowed to proceed after left-wing parties in Hamburg’s legislature rejected a petition by right-wing parties to prohibit the event.

Canadian immigration asks medical worker fleeing Gaza if he treated Hamas fighters

ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Lawyers are questioning Canada’s approach to screening visa applications for people in Gaza with extended family in Canada after one applicant, a medical worker, was asked whether he had treated members of Hamas.

The Canadian Press obtained a redacted letter sent to the applicant by a Canadian immigration officer, which asks if he has “ever provided medical care to injured Hamas members.” If he has not, the letter asks him to say how he was able to refuse “without consequences.”

Kelly O’Connor, an immigration lawyer in Toronto, said she gasped out loud when she saw the text. Any medical worker who denies care to someone hurt in a war zone is committing a “serious breach of the Geneva Convention,” she said in an interview.

No Gazans should be admitted to Canada.

Biden’s Plan to Resettle Thousands of Gaza Refugees Is Insane, Warns Expert

Earlier this month, the Biden administration floated a trial balloon, suggesting “senior officials across several federal U.S. agencies have discussed the practicality of different options to resettle Palestinians from Gaza who have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents.”

Justin is no doubt enthralled.
