Two minors among nine arrested over French police station fireworks attack

Nine people, including two minors, have been arrested after a group of about 50 people attacked a police station near the Paris 2024 Olympic village with heavy-duty rocket fireworks, the French capital’s top police official has said.

The attack on Sunday evening in La Courneuve followed the death last Wednesday of a teenager after a police chase. Authorities announced a reinforced police presence across the northern Paris suburb.

“Police have a strong presence there today and that will be even more the case during the Olympics, when we will have a massive presence everywhere in the Paris region, and I have no fear on that level,” the Paris police chief, Laurent Nuñez, said on Monday.

Had this happened in Canada a royal commission would be called. In France it’s just another day at work. We will be France one day.

‘Multiculturalism’ is damaging our society. There is only one way to stop it

Successive British governments, Labour and Tory, have spoken out against racism while passing regulations which have only served to embed it.

Tony Blair did not seem to care for our nation state. He preferred governance from unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats both here and in Brussels. It suited his brand of left-wing politics for EU nations to lose their values and identity: far easier to hand more power to Europe if national interests and cultures could not get in the way.

Mass migration, at least in the short-term, also worked economically. With an eye on the single most important metric to judge prosperity, New Labour realised immigration would boost growth. With growth in the population would come growth in GDP, a demand for housing and infrastructure and cheap imported labour to power British business. This merry go round would apparently keep working as long as the population kept growing. But in reality, it was a Ponzi scheme.

UK: The Islamist threat is all too real

Responding to the Government’s new definition of extremism, the Muslim Association of Britain called the move “cynical… Orwellian” and an “erosion of civil liberties”.

The response was a case study in how Islamists use the language of liberalism to pursue illiberal objectives. For the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) is one of several organisations declared extremist by Michael Gove in Parliament last week. Previously, an expert government report called it “the Muslim Brotherhood in the UK”.

Signs That The Religion Of Peace Is Intensifying Its Grip

Post 10/7 Looks a Lot Like Post 9/11, Only Worse

News that the U.S. will build a “temporary pier” in the Mediterranean Sea to facilitate transfer of humanitarian aid to the Hamas-occupied Gaza Strip should tickle the déjà vu receptors of anyone who was politically aware at the dawn of the 21st century.

After the worst terrorist attack against the U.S. in its 225-year history on September 11, 2001, “the world” reacted sympathetically at first. But it didn’t last long. After the worst terrorist attack against Israel in its 75-year history on October 7, 2023, the world’s sympathy was as ephemeral as an Ivy League “pro-Palestine” hunger strike.

The U.S. and Israel were consoled and pitied – until they fought back. Then they were suddenly portrayed as aggressive colonizing villains, each seeking to impose its version of “empire” on an oppressed “other” while meting out “collective punishment.”

LILLEY: Jewish Canadians feel abandoned by politicians, police and you

Two weeks ago, I was hearing a disturbing message from two young Canadians while having lunch at a downtown Toronto cafe.

They were questioning whether it’s still safe to be a Jew in Canada.

This week, I was sitting with two rabbis in Thornhill as they raised the same questions for themselves and their congregations.

I don’t blame them for feeling that way.

But to be clear politicians count votes not principles and the police are a militia who follow the orders of our pols.

Neither politicians or the police were ever your friend.

The UK has an Islamist problem

In London for a short visit this week, I decided to take a look at the latest demonstration organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) against what it refers to as the ‘genocide in Gaza.’ The weekly mass demonstrations in the British capital in support of the Palestinian side in the Gaza war have acquired significance beyond the specific context of British foreign policy.

Are Ramadan Jihad Cells Already in the U.S.?

“The warning lights are blinking.”

Two recent interviews — one with former Navy SEAL and Blackwater founder Erik Prince and one with Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., — pointed to the gathering threat of terror violence inside the country this year.

Aside from these two and a few more, though, there seems to be scant attention being paid to the likelihood that a confluence of threat indicators will erupt into street violence on a scale we’ve not seen since the summer of 2020.

Election Jihad: Islamic Groups are hijacking the US Elections

A New Generation of Islamist Political Power

The response in state legislatures to the Hamas Islamic terror attacks of Oct 7 showed how thoroughly Islamists have infiltrated our political system and the threat that they pose.

In Delaware, Rep. Madinah Wilson-Anton, the first Muslim elected in Delaware, heckled Vice President Kamala Harris at a Christmas party, demanding that Israel stop attacking Hamas.

Why the elites are terrified of talking about radical Islam

So now we know. If you’re from a working-class background in a Red Wall constituency and you think Islamism is a big problem, the Tories are not the party for you. That’s the takeaway, surely, from Lee Anderson’s flight from the Tories into the welcoming arms of Reform UK following the confected media stink over his brash comments about Sadiq Khan being too cosy with Islamists. The optics of this are awful. A former miner turned Tory MP pipes up about radical Islam and the eye-wateringly wealthy Rishi Sunak effectively kicks him out? Yikes.

After criticism, Ottawa pledges $1-million to support Hamas sexual-violence victims

Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly says Canada is pledging $1 million to support victims of sexual violence by Hamas in Israel during last October’s attacks.

The funding comes with an offer of RCMP support for investigations three months after a group of women who hold political office in Canada called on Ottawa to provide this type of support.

Fireworks ignited and eggs thrown as Holocaust museum opens in Amsterdam

Fireworks were ignited and eggs thrown as pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in Amsterdam where a new National Holocaust Museum has been opened.

The Israeli president’s visit to the newly-opened National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam has sparked protests in the city.

Thousands of protesters were heard chanting “never again is now” and “ceasefire now” at Waterloo Square in central Amsterdam, near the museum, which held an opening ceremony on Sunday and invited guests including the Israeli president Isaac Herzog and Dutch King Willem-Alexander.

“I was disfigured because he tried to tear my lip off with his teeth,” – Victim Says Of Moroccan Foreign Student Attacker Who Assaulted 5 Women In Montreal

Three years in prison for a predator – Attacks worthy of “women’s worst nightmare”

“No one deserves to be harassed and disfigured. To be afraid of losing your face,” whispers Cassandra*. This Montrealer, like four other women, experienced horror at the hands of an extremely violent sexual predator. The young foreign student was sentenced Monday to three years in detention and will be deported from Canada.

…El Mehdi Badi has time to attack two other women before attacking Cassandra, his last victim. The attack is particularly violent. “You like that, you’re looking for that,” El Mehdi Badi says to her when she tries to push him away. The woman suffered two concussions. She thought she would die at that moment.

“I was disfigured because he tried to tear my lip off with his teeth,” says Cassandra, on the witness stand, staring at her tormentor in the box. Impassive, the young man stared at the ground in silence.
