France sparks outcry with plan for prison to house Islamists & drug traffickers near former Devil’s Island penal colony

French plans to build a maximum-security prison wing for drug traffickers and Islamic militants near a former penal colony in French Guiana have sparked an outcry among local people and officials.

The wing would form part of a $450m (£337m) prison announced in 2017 that is expected to be completed by 2028 and hold 500 inmates. The prison would be built in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, a town bordering Suriname that once received prisoners shipped by Napoleon III in the 1800s, some of whom were sent to the notorious Devil’s Island off the coast of French Guiana.

The French justice minister, Gérald Darmanin, announced plans to build the high-security wing during an official visit to French Guiana on Saturday. He said in a Facebook post that 15 of the wing’s 60 spaces would be reserved for Islamic militants.

A new draft bill by the National Council of Canadian Muslims calls on Parliament to formally recognize the state of Palestine, marking what the group says would be a historic step in Canadian foreign policy, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

“What is happening right now in Gaza is one of the great moral issues of our time, if not the greatest,” CEO of the National Council Stephen Brown told reporters.

“This doesn’t bode well for us as Canadians … First model legislation in Canadian history that charts our own course as a nation on Palestinian human rights.”

Islam poses an existential threat to Western Civilization

President Trump has been playing friends with the Arab Middle East. Although some economic advantages for the USA seem to be coming from this latest visit, this writer is uncomfortable with so much flattery of the Arabs whose commitments are foundationally and inherently unacceptable.

For me, they can keep their trillions of oil money. We should not want to have anything to do with them. They have been nothing but a scourge on the planet for more than 1400 years. Sure, there are some “nice” Arabs (non-murderous, non-terroristic), but the historical momentum of that culture, whether it be Shi’ite or Sunni, is a murderous intention towards Jews and at the very least open contempt/hatred towards non-believers of any ethnicity.

UK: Hospital manager/Imam accused of Rushdie-style fatwa death threat over ‘insult to Mohammed’

An Islamist extremist working at one of London’s most famous hospitals has been suspended after being accused of issuing a fatwa-style death threat for blasphemy.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that NHS employee Omar Abdallah Mansuur, 39 – an influential imam – faces claims that he decreed a fellow Muslim should get the death penalty for insulting the Prophet Mohammed.

His broadcast was made to tens of thousands of followers and is thought to be the first time a cleric in Britain has made such a threat.

Police hunting for Syrian national, 35, after five football fans were stabbed outside a German bar in ‘planned’ attack

Police are searching for a Syrian national who attacked and injured at least five people in Germany on Sunday.

Named in local reports as Mahmoud Mhemed, 35, the suspect is alleged to have stabbed the football fans with a knife in front of the Cuties bar in the western city of Bielefeld.

Four men, aged between 22 and 27, and a woman, aged 26, were reportedly attacked by Mhemed as they stood in front of the bar in the early hours.
