John Robson: Is It 1938 Out There?

Since the Hamas invasion of Israel to massacre Jews on Oct. 7, 2023, there has been an eruption of public Jew-hatred in Canada. The most recent example occurred this past weekend, at the start of Passover, when “pro-Palestinian” demonstrations took place on Parliament Hill during which an officer was spat upon, in Edmonton blocking a bridge, while in Montreal, just ahead of Passover, “demonstrators” vandalized Concordia University’s Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies.

Despite the flimsy excuses of apologists that such displays and protests are “merely” anti-Zionism, they have led numerous commentators to draw explicit, horrified, baffled comparisons to the 1930s that, while legitimate to a point, actually fail to express the far greater seriousness of the situation today.

Nothing mass deportation can’t fix.

‘This is no longer immigration, this is displacement’ – For the first time, Muslim students outnumber Christians in Vienna’s schools

For the first time, Muslim students are the largest religious group in Vienna’s schools, underlining the incredible demographic transformation taking place in the Austrian city. The Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) is now raising the alarm.

Muslim students now account for 41.2 percent of all students, while Christian students fell to 34.5 percent. The trend is only growing, and is accompanied by rising problems, including violence in schools, anti-Semitism, and contempt for women.

Pakistani jihadist who plotted to carry out 7/7 bombings in Birmingham wants to be deported – but Home Office refuse over ‘human rights concerns’

A Pakistani jihadist cannot be deported despite renouncing his British citizenship because it would breach his human rights, official papers suggest.

Irfan Khalid was one of the leaders of a gang who plotted to carry out a 7/7-style mass terror attack in Birmingham and turn the city into a ‘little war zone’.

The conspiracy was smashed during Britain’s biggest anti-terror investigation, with Khalid sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2013.

Editor for The Guardian whines about Muslim convicts facing ‘disproportionate’ force while incarcerated in English prisons

Rajeev Syal, an editor for The Guardian, recently wrote on the “disproportionate” use of force against Muslim convicts while incarcerated in English prisons:

Muslim prisoners are disproportionately subjected to force including pain-inducing techniques by jail staff, according to new data.

Freedom of information requests found that in eight out of nine prisons with high Muslim populations, Muslim men were more likely than the average inmate to be confronted with batons, made to wear rigid bar handcuffs, or deliberately held in a painful position.

The Health Effects of Cousin Marriage in British Pakistanis

In most of Europe and the Americas, cousin marriage is extremely rare — only a few percent of people are married to their first or second cousins. But in other societies — mostly in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia — it’s much more common. By some estimates, more than 50% of Pakistanis are married to their first or second cousins.

A major problem with cousin marriage is that the children of such unions are more likely to have mental and physical health problems. Why? It has to do with rare recessives.

I wonder what strain Pakistani immigrants have placed on Canadian health services.

Manchester bomber’s brother Hashem Abedi given spork after prison attack

Embarrassed that regular utensils are considered more dangerous.

Hashem Abedi has been given a spork to eat his food and transferred back to Belmarsh prison, where he previously launched a vicious attack on prison guards, The Times can reveal.

It has triggered fresh concerns about the Prison Service’s handling of the Manchester Arena terrorist, who allegedly attacked three officers on Saturday with boiling cooking oil from a separation centre — known as a jail within a jail — at HMP Frankland in County Durham, which is one of the highest security jails in the UK.

What’s Going on Near Plano, TX? Former Detective Introduces Us to ‘EPIC City’

We have heard it time and again: America is a nation of immigrants. We pride ourselves on the fact that millions of people from all over the world have seen America, as Ronald Reagan said, as the “shining city on a hill,” the place where they could find a better life for themselves and their families. But something is happening. The immigrants of the last century came to America because they wanted to assimilate into American culture. They wanted to become Americans. Now, there is no such intention. And in one case, isolation, not assimilation, appears to be the goal.

Prosecuting Quran burners is capitulation to blasphemy laws

In February, 50-year-old Hamit Coskun was charged with causing “harassment, alarm or distress” to the Islamic faith after burning a Quran outside the Turkish consulate in London. A KC told the National Secular Society that the charges were “plainly defective”, while the NSS accused prosecutors of reintroducing a blasphemy law “by the back door”.

If Labour won’t do anything about the rape gangs, I will

THIS Labour government has many delusions, but perhaps most astonishing is that it seems to believe we still live in the pre-internet era. That’s the only possible explanation for Jess Phillips, Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls, sneaking into the Chamber on Tuesday afternoon, hours before the Commons broke for Easter Recess, in the hope of brushing the betrayal of grooming gang survivors under the carpet.

The Islamization of Europe

Can Europe survive much longer?

That Islam is slowly but surely on the march throughout the West, with little or nothing stopping it, is clearly evident. In Europe especially we see the shocking transformation of Western cities and communities into Muslim enclaves. There are now even numerous no-go zones in Europe where the police and fire departments are hesitant to enter.

The fact that many Muslims might want to live in peace and enjoy what the West has to offer is really beside the point. True Muslims committed to their faith want to see the entire world become an Islamic caliphate with everyone submitting to sharia law.

Why Did a Star Columbia Student Join an Anti-Semitic Mob?

On March 27, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the State Department had revoked the visas of at least 300 students for participating in violent anti-Israel protests. One of the first to face deportation was Mahmoud Khalil, a former master’s student at Columbia University. Given his background, Khalil quickly became the face of the Trump administration’s crackdown on non-citizen terror supporters. But last month, a new face emerged: Yunseo Chung, a junior at Columbia.

Investigation into how Manchester bomber used butter to attack guards

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has launched a review into how one of the Islamist terrorists behind the Manchester Arena bombing allegedly attacked three prison officers with weapons and boiling cooking oil.

Counter-terror police are leading an investigation into the “serious assault” by Hashem Abedi, who reportedly threw hot oil over three officers on Saturday before stabbing them with “homemade weapons”.
