Grooming Gangs: 15 Men Jailed for 188 Years over Child Rape in Bradford

The lifting of reporting restrictions has made public for the first time that 15 members of a grooming gang have been jailed for the rape and sexual abuse of a young girl in Bradford, England, between 2007 and 2011.

The West Yorkshire Police disclosed on Wednesday that the 15 men had been sentenced to a combined 188 years in prison over their sexual exploitation of one Bradford girl from when she was 14 to 18 years old.

Oldham is still obscuring the horror of grooming gangs

Oldham is still obscuring the horror of grooming gangs

“Identity politics is tearing communities apart,” according to Arooj Shah, former leader of Oldham Council. After stepping down from her role last month, Shah has spoken this week about the race riots of 25 years ago across the North of England. But by going to great lengths to suggest that child abusers can be found in every ethnicity, race, and social class, is she herself indulging in identity politics?

Baroness Casey: I’ve failed grooming gang victims

Baroness Casey: I’ve failed grooming gang victims

Baroness Casey of Blackstock has said she feels personally responsible for failing grooming-gang victims.

The crossbench peer, who first investigated allegations of child sexual abuse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, a decade ago, said she had grown increasingly frustrated at the pace of change.

Speaking at the Hay Festival on Sunday, she said: “When last year, grooming gangs hit national headlines again… I was very disappointed.

Media’s shameful silence as yet another gang of Muslim rapists are jailed

Media’s shameful silence as yet another gang of Muslim rapists are jailed

TUESDAY’S silence was deafening. Not a single word from local MPs Kim Leadbeater (Labour) and Iqbal Mohamed (Independent/Palestine), although at least muftis and imams were clamouring to reach the top of the town hall steps to beg the public’s forgiveness for their medieval cult’s defiling of little white girls. Only joking, obviously. I mean, another 20 child rapists banged up for 277 years? It’s hardly news any more around Dewsbury and Batley.

Asian grooming gang who raped and sexually abused girls as young as 12 are jailed for more than 270 years

Asian grooming gang who raped and sexually abused girls as young as 12 are jailed for more than 270 years

A grooming gang predominantly made up of Asian men has been jailed for a combined 277 years following a major investigation into abuse against girls as young as 12.

Twenty people aged between 45 and 87 were snared following the investigation into offences committed in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, between 1995 and 2003.

West Yorkshire Police said the gang had repeatedly sexually assaulted and raped the girls, some of whom were given class A drugs.

Grooming gang inquiry will expose bungling police who failed to investigate gangs of Asian men, chairman pledges

Police who failed to investigate child sex grooming gangs will be held to account, the new independent inquiry’s head pledged today – as she promised issues of ethnicity, culture and religion will also be scrutinised.

‘Any evidence’ of criminal conduct by professionals will be referred to a specially-launched national operation to review hundreds of previously-closed investigations.

In its ‘terms of reference’ published this morning, the inquiry said it would ‘investigate how grooming gangs operated and how institutions, including police, local authorities, health services, social care services, and schools, responded to abuse’.

They better hop to it or they’ll all die of old age.

Grooming gangs survivor lambasts Home Office over ‘lost evidence’

A victim of the grooming gangs scandal has accused the government of “another betrayal” after it emerged that key evidence could have been destroyed caused by Home Office delays in ordering the retention of records.

The department has admitted that it took seven months to write to police forces and other agencies to formally request they preserve records relating to grooming gangs in their area.

Fiona Goddard, who was groomed and repeatedly raped by a gang of men of Pakistani heritage in Bradford from the age of 14, said the admission had further undermined trust with survivors.

London’s grooming gangs shame Sadiq Khan

In a now notorious exchange, London mayor Sadiq Khan said last year there was no ‘indication’ that grooming gangs – of the kind that have plagued towns such as Rotherham and Telford – exist in London. Evidence uncovered by the BBC last week has exposed the foolishness of this claim. It is now indisputable that vulnerable women and girls, some as young as 14, are being lured into a world of rape and exploitation by grooming gangs in London.

HUNTER: Woke sex trafficking silence omits culprits

It goes where Islam goes.

At present, Canada has a very difficult time being honest with itself

How the silence was manifested was spectacular.

Standing along the rows of terraced homes in ramshackle former British industrial towns was a small army of newly woke social workers and local politicians, hands on hips, glasses poised on the tip of their noses.

And there was no mistaking their politically correct message: “If you know what’s good for you and don’t want to be labelled a racist, you will NOT mention those nice Muslim men gang-raping working-class white girls.”

Two brothers ‘systemically groomed’ vulnerable girl, 12, for sex when they were young adults, court hears

Two brothers ‘systematically groomed’ a vulnerable 12-year-old girl for sex, a court has been told.

Kamar and Kamran Ilyas had sex with the girl in the mid-2000s when Kamar, now 39, was between 17 and 21, and Kamran, now 38, was aged about 18 to 20, prosecutors told Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.

The brothers allegedly had sex with the child after she drank alcohol and smoked cannabis. They deny the charges.

Rape Gangs & Britain On The Brink

In Britain, the MP Rupert Lowe, a political Independent, last year raised 600,000 pounds to crowdfund an independent investigation of the Muslim rape gang scandal. Lowe, along with MP Esther McVey, lawyer Graham Smith, and Sammy Woodhouse, a survivor of the rape gangs, heard testimony from other survivors. This was not an official inquiry. Based on the belief that British authorities have systematically tried to downplay the breadth and seriousness of the abuse, for the sake of avoiding conflict with Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities (from which the vast majority of the alleged rapists come), Lowe and his team gathered information independently. Now they are turning it over the to government in the hope that at last, the state will take it seriously. Here is their statement from yesterday.

It is very strong stuff…

The Rape Gang Scandal Shows Britain’s Social Contract is Broken

When I published my previous essay in the Daily Sceptic on the rape-gang scandal, I attempted to describe what a serious integrity mechanism would look like in a state that wished to root out corruption rather than narrate it. Drawing on the example of Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), I set out, in practical terms, what such a body would require: independence from police and ministerial control, genuine investigative authority and a simple governing proposition: that no institution can be trusted to police itself when it is itself the problem.

My former colleague and sometime co-writer David Betz remarked on X that the piece read like a final appeal to reason – a last attempt to delineate what accountability might resemble if the contemporary administrative state in Britain still possessed the will to pursue it. We both agree that it does not have the will and have written several times to this effect.

That observation points to what the earlier essay left insufficiently examined. The pressing question is not what an integrity mechanism would look like. It is why such a mechanism has not appeared, and why, under the present dispensation, it cannot.

Grooming Gang Survivors Say British Girls Were Trafficked to Pakistan as Sex Slaves

The predominantly Muslim child rape grooming gangs likely trafficked “countless” British women and girls to their native Pakistan to serve as sex slaves, the head of the independent rape gang inquiry has said.

White victims of grooming gangs ‘betrayed’ by prosecutors

Prosecutors are betraying grooming victims by failing to treat rape gang offences against white working-class girls as hate crimes, it has been claimed.

Fiona Goddard, who was repeatedly raped from the age of 14 during her time in children’s homes in Bradford in the 2000s, said it was “deeply frustrating” that the crimes were not deemed to have a racial element.

Ms Goddard, now 32, said her abusers “spoke about ‘white girls’ as people they could use, saying they needed to keep Pakistani girls ‘pure’”.

Victims have been referred to by Pakistani-Muslim abusers as “white b—h” and “trash”.

The Betrayal of Britain’s Daughters

How fear of being called racist allowed the largest child-protection scandal in modern British history to flourish for decades

There are crimes so extreme that the mind instinctively rejects them, not because they are implausible, but because accepting them would require acknowledging a collapse of morality too large to comprehend. Child sexual abuse is one such crime.

Child sexual abuse does not arrive in a single form. It ranges from isolated abductions, to organised pornography networks, to violence carried out by parents or those entrusted with care. Every one of these crimes is horrific, and none should ever be minimised or ignored.
