“Islamists have encouraged hatred of Jews”: highly-anticipated report into Prevent strategy, revealing role of antisemitism in radical Islamism and Government failures

A highly-anticipated report into the Government’s Prevent strategy, which is designed to detect and prevent radicalisation, has been published this week, with scathing findings about the state of the nation’s flagship anti-extremism programme.

The report, headed by William Shawcross, who was appointed as the Independent Reviewer of Prevent in January 2021 by the Government, has made several shocking revelations.

Principally, the report laments that the approach to tackling Islamism has become ever narrower, while the approach to the far-right has become broader. This has various manifestations, including different thresholds for what constitutes Islamist extremism and far-right extremism, and an excessive focus on relatively minor threats from the far-right over more urgent and serious threats from Islamist groups. The Research Information and Communications Unit, a Home Office unit established in 2007 as part of the Prevent programme, comes in for heavy criticism in the report for focusing too much on the far-right at the expense of Islamism.

Mosque visited by members of the Royal Family was attended by members of the ISIS ‘Beatles’ and should have had counter-extremism funding reviewed, report into Prevent finds

Meghan Markle visits Muslim terrorist mosque.

A mosque that has been visited by William, Harry and Meghan should have had its counter-extremism funding reviewed after it was linked to jihadists, according to the report into Prevent.

The report highlighted how Al-Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre in West London was attended by terror suspects, including members of the ISIS execution gang dubbed the ‘Beatles’.

The centre, which has received at least £100,000 in Prevent funding, was visited frequently by the Duchess of Sussex in 2018. Several times she went to a community kitchen there as its staff were at the forefront of helping victims of the Grenfell fire. The Duchess also championed a cookbook that raised funds for the centre’s Hubb Community Kitchen.

Federal government appealing court ruling to repatriate 4 ISIS psychopaths’ detained in Syria

The federal government is appealing a Federal Court ruling that ordered the government to repatriate four Canadian men being detained in northeastern Syria in prisons for suspected ISIS members.

In its notice to the Federal Court of Appeal, the government asks that the court order be stayed pending the appeal.

The Canadian men — who have not been charged with crimes — are currently in prisons run by Kurdish forces in Northern Syria and are being detained for alleged ISIS ties. The Canadian government has listed ISIS as a terrorist group.

One of the 4 is idiot convert Jack Letts who is a Canadian by mere technicality.

The grotesque rehabilitation of Shamima Begum

She has been allowed to present herself as the real victim in her story.

UK journalists seem hell bent on rehabilitating former ISIS bride Shamima Begum. The BBC has recently produced both a prime-time documentary and a major podcast series on Begum’s story. Last weekend, to promote these two programmes, she also featured as a baseball-capped poster girl on The Times Saturday magazine.

It’s the same in Canada, they treat these Mohammedan psychopaths as the victims and expect us to welcome them back with open arms. I hope I’m around to watch their crocodile eat them.

Sliding Toward the Abyss in Scandinavia

Islamization is a gradual process, but not so gradual that you can’t see it happening.

As Islam continues to gain numbers and power in Western Europe, certain questions take on greater importance. If you’re female or Jewish or gay, for example, and the only local doctor without a full patient list is a Muslim (and given how some nationalized medical systems work, this kind of situation arises not infrequently), do you choose to assume that he doesn’t take his religion’s teachings seriously, or do you move?

A rise in Muslim numbers means a rise in Muslim influence on many fronts. In Norway, there are about 1500 Jews and about 175,000 Muslims. When Jewish parents complain about their kids being beaten by their Muslim classmates – a charge that, if acted upon, can lead to major unrest – how do you expect teachers, principals, cops, and politicians to respond?

‘Prevent must focus on security not political correctness’: Suella Braverman demands ‘major reform’ of anti-terror programme after review found it’s not doing enough to tackle ‘non-violent’ Islamist extremism with too much focus on right-wing terror

The Home Secretary has demanded ‘major reform’ of the government’s flagship anti-terror programme in the wake of a critical report that found it was ‘failing to understand’ Islamist extremism.

Suella Braverman told MPs that Prevent’s focus ‘must solely be on security, not political correctness’ and said the scheme needs to ‘better understand the threats we face and the ideology underpinning them’.

‘I just want to go home’: Alabama jihadi bride stripped of her citizenship after calling for extremists to ‘spill blood of Americans’ pleads to be let back into U.S.

Rot in hell.

An Alabama jihadi bride who was stripped of her citizenship after joining ISIS in Syria now claims the terrorist group plans to attack the Syrian camp where she is detained – but says she ‘just wants to go home’.

Hoda Muthana, 28, says she fears that ISIS will attack Camp Roj – the detention camp in north east Syria where she has been detained.

Muthana joined the terrorist group when she was 20 but now says she was groomed online by members who wanted to attract young and vulnerable women.

‘Political correctness’ meant Islamist extremism was downplayed by Prevent

Britain’s “politically correct” deradicalisation programme focused on Right-wing extremism while failing to tackle Islamist terror, the Home Secretary has said.

William Shawcross, the review’s author, said Prevent had failed to do enough to counter the dangers from “non-violent Islamist extremism” and had instead broadened the definition of Right-wing extremism to include even mainstream politicians.

He said terrorist attacks had “too often” been committed by Islamist extremists previously referred to the programme because Prevent officials had “failed to understand the danger” they posed and had not dealt “effectively with the lethal risks we actually face”.

Shamima Begum’s lies v reality

Begum repeatedly claims she ‘did not know’ about ISIS atrocities before leaving London and believed it was an Islamic ‘utopia’.

She also insists she did not watch any violent propaganda videos, such as the beheadings of hostages.

‘I didn’t know about these atrocities because as a 15-year-old I didn’t watch the news,’ Begum says.

An evil little liar.

Why Prevent failed – and how to fix it

William Shawcross’s long-awaited review of Prevent – the Government’s counter-radicalisation programme – is one of the boldest official documents of recent times. As such, it constitutes a radical reappraisal of a key state policy which has gone seriously off-piste and is in urgent need of rebalancing.

Much of the critique of Prevent has historically come from Islamists – who contend that it singles out Muslims for particular obloquy. For a programme that cost the Home Office a little less than £50 million per annum in 2020-1, Prevent commands a lot of attention.

In his comprehensive ‘anatomy lesson’ published today, Shawcross lays bare in painstaking detail the ways in which Prevent has been faltering – but for a quite different set of reasons from those given by its loudest detractors.

Sweden: Anti-Turkish protests have increased attack threat from Mohammedans

STOCKHOLM (AP) — The Swedish domestic security agency warned Wednesday that the threat of attacks in the Scandinavian country has increased in the weeks since a far-right activist burned a Quran outside the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm.

The agency noted that international reactions to the events outside the embassy last month” have been extensive” and “the assessment is that the security situation has deteriorated.”

“Sweden is judged to be in greater focus than before for violent Islamism globally,” the security service, which is known by the Swedish acronym SAPO, said.

Swedish police demand tools to fight ‘unprecedented’ gang crime

Nation with peaceful reputation averaged one shooting or bombing a day last month

Swedish police chiefs have warned that crime is hitting “extremely serious and unprecedented” levels after 19 shootings in Stockholm and the surrounding towns since Christmas.

Gun violence between gangs competing over the increasingly lucrative drugs trade has been rising since the turn of the millennium, culminating in a record 63 fatal shootings last year. The country also has the European Union’s highest numbers of drug offences, burglaries and thefts per head, according to the bloc’s statistics agency.
