Ilhan Omar’s Husband Accuses Iranian Dissident of ‘Islamophobia’

Critics of the “Islamophobia” bill sponsored by the winsome and patriotic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) say that it will be used not just to combat vigilante attacks against innocent Muslims, which are never justified, but to stifle any criticism of Islam at all, including opposition to jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women. Omar’s latest husband, the amply remunerated political consultant Tim Mynett, has just proven this concern to be abundantly justified by accusing a U.S.-based Iranian dissident of opposing the bill just because she dislikes Muslims. It’s an ugly false charge, and it reveals that the foes of Omar’s “Islamophobia” bill were right all along.

‘Sister Aafia’ and the antisemitic attack in Texas

Aafia Siddiqui’s name may not be known to most people, but to some she has been notorious for thirty years

Many people in the West will not have known the name Aafia Siddiqui until the terrible incident at a Texas synagogue earlier this month, when the British terrorist Malik Faisal Akram asked to speak to his “sister” Aafia and demanded her release, before being shot dead by US police.

But I, along with thousands of my generation, have known Aafia’s name for 30 years. During the early to mid-1990s, I was on an international Muslim students’ email list, dominated by Islamists, with Aafia Siddiqui, then a student at MIT. A close British friend of mine was also studying for his PhD at MIT at the same time and knew her personally. His recollections of her, he once told me, were that she was very active in da’wah (proselytising for Islam), handing out free Qur’an translations on campus. My own recollections of her via electronic media are that of a student activist, who posted many times per week to an audience of thousands.

Why this website, why this publication? Because the West needs it.

Some background: Islamism in the West burst into public attention with the book burning and radical statements that accompanied the 1988-89 attacks on Salman Rushdie and his novel, The Satanic Verses. Ayatollah Khomeini’s death edict made Western publics aware for the first time, and with due shock, that quietly growing populations of Muslims presented civilizational problems that, say, Chinese, Hindus, and Christian Africans did not. These boiled down to a minoritarian but powerful desire to apply medieval-style Islamic laws (the Sharia) in the West, with all their dire implications for non-Muslims and females, and to transform Western societies.

Child sexual grooming report points to failure to identify ethnicity of abusers and victims

Child sexual abuse: Extensive failures in tackling grooming, says report

Police and councils are still failing to properly identify and investigate child grooming gangs, a report warns.

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse said officials often denied the scale of the issue, thinking incorrectly that it was “on the wane”.

Data such as the ethnicity of abusers and victims was not collected and could have helped identify offenders.

… The report said that in some cases authorities might be potentially downplaying the scale of abuse over concerns about the negative publicity.

It said local authorities “don’t want to be labelled another Rochdale or Rotherham” – referring to high-profile grooming gangs.

Politicians keep silent on Muslim antisemitism to garner Muslim votes

“In Molenbeek, in an area of 6 square kilometers, there are 25 mosques and lots of voters praying. So what if they say ‘burn the Jews’.

Ahmed El Khannouss, powerful municipal councilor of Molenbeek and local head of the Humanist Democratic Center party, defended Imam Mohamed Toujgani, whose residence permit and access to Belgian territory have just been withdrawn for the next ten years. The decision was made by the Minister for Immigration, Sammy Mahdi, based on information from the security services indicating “a serious danger to national security”.

The reason? Imam Toujgani, among other accusations, called for “burning the Zionists”. Municipal Councilor Khannouss became famous in the media around the world after the Paris attacks, practically all of whose terrorists came from Molenbeek, of which he was deputy mayor at the time. In the meantime, none other than the socialist mayor of Molenbeek, Catherine Moureaux, arrived to speak out in defense of Mohamed Toujgani: “Given Toujgani’s function as President of the League of Imams of Belgium, I dare to hope that the minister has a really important new element to explain the adoption of this decision “.

France’s Macron Tries to Reclassify Muslim Terrorism as Mental Illness

Denying Islamic terrorism is the real delusion.

There’s hardly a Muslim terrorist attack committed by a single perpetrator in Europe or America in the last five years that the authorities and the media haven’t tried to spin as mental illness.

Both Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, the Syrian Muslim mass killer who shot up a Boulder supermarket, and Faisal Akram, who took a Texas temple hostage to secure the release of ‘Lady Al Qaeda’, had their attacks blamed on mental illness.

Family wants no contact with accused US IS member

The family of a US woman accused of leading an Islamic State squadron and plotting attacks on American soil wants no contact with her as she faces federal terrorism charges.

Prosecutors told Allison Fluke-Ekren on Monday that much of her family has requested that she be barred from speaking to them.

Ms Fluke-Ekren, 42, is accused of training women and children to use weapons and suicide vests in Syria.

She faces up to 20 years in prison.

French journalist given police guard over her report on Islam in town where restaurant has cubicles for women to eat, toyshop sells faceless dolls and Muslim who spoke out was threatened with beheading

A journalist has been given police protection after presenting a documentary on the impact of radical Islam on a French town.

Ophélie Meunier, 34, has received death threats for her part in Zone Interdite, a hard-hitting documentary which focused on the poor northern town of Roubaix.

The programme highlighted a restaurant with cubicles for women to eat in, without being seen by men, and a toy shop which sold faceless dolls for Muslims who follow the Islamic ruling which forbids the depiction of facial features of any kind.

Kansas mom charged with leading all-female ISIS battalion in Syria

A former Kansas woman and mother of five has been charged with joining ISIS and leading an all-female battalion of fighters in Syria, the Department of Justice announced Saturday.

Allison Fluke-Ekren, 42, allegedly trained her own children to use AK-47s and suicide belts, translated speeches made by ISIS leaders, and conspired to plan an attack on an American college campus, the DOJ said.

Fluke-Ekren was appointed in 2016 to lead the Khatiba Nusaybah, an all-female military unit of the Islamic State, in Raqqa, Syria, according to a criminal complaint filed in 2019 and unsealed Saturday.

Crown no longer seeking adult sentence for Junior Jihadi who pleaded guilty to terror charges

Prosecutors say they are no longer seeking an adult sentence for a teenager who pleaded guilty to terrorism-related charges including possession of explosive material and counselling someone to detonate a bomb.

In a virtual hearing today, the Crown said it is instead making a joint submission with the defence for the maximum youth sentence of three years, with “stringent conditions.”

British ‘hitman’ found guilty of plotting to kill Pakistani activist

A British “hitman” has been found guilty of conspiring to kill a Pakistani dissident in the Netherlands.

A court in London heard Muhammad Gohir Khan was offered £100,000 (about $134,000) to carry out the murder in Rotterdam last year.

However he failed to track his target down, and was arrested on his return to the UK.

Now a jury has given a unanimous guilty verdict of conspiracy to murder and he is set be sentenced in March.
