The next time someone asks what we mean when we say ‘Islamo-left’, I’m going to show them footage from yesterday’s protest in Whitechapel in East London. What a morally suicidal schlep that was. What an unholy union of witless leftists and menacing Islamists. ‘Refugees welcome here!’, cried the granola-fed grads of the limp-wristed left. ‘Allahu Akbar!’, barked the masked mob of religious hotheads. Rarely has the lethal idiocy of the left’s bed-hopping with Islamism been so starkly exposed.

But if elected, Mamdani won’t carry out most of his government experiments on them—rather, his agenda would disproportionately affect middle-class and poorer New Yorkers, who may not be aware of the cascading potential consequences of these policies.
In the small hours of the morning, retired police detective Jon Wedger is on the streets of Tottenham in northeast London to prove gangs are grooming girls for sex in the capital.
“I worked in the Met Police’s vice squad for years, and I’ve never seen so many in one area,” he says. “That’s where the three young girls are.” Wedger confirms that a Somalian girl aged 12 is “working” alongside two English girls aged 15 and 16.
The former officer, who left the Met in 2017 after 25 years, has joined forces with a documentary crew from IBB Media to show the public that child prostitution is happening in plain sight on London’s streets.
So the grooming-gangs inquiry that the government never wanted to hold is already falling apart. Colour me surprised. Another betrayal of the victims, to put with all the others.
First, thousands of poor and working-class girls were subjected to rape, torture, sometimes murder, by gangs of predominantly Pakistani Muslim men. Then, their plight was covered up or ignored by police and councils who feared ‘race riots’ if word ever got out. Now, some of those same victims are effectively being called liars all over again, this time by central government.

José Luis Bazán, a consultant to Europe’s Catholic bishops, recently issued a report on the phenomenon, documenting roughly 1,600 attacks against Catholic Churches in France and Greece, as well as similar attacks in Spain and Italy. “These attacks reflect a climate of ideological hostility toward religion,” Bazán told Catholic News Agency. “Attacks or acts of vandalism against places of worship are pandemic,” he emphasized. “We have fragmentary elements here and there, but if you put them all together, you realize the upward trend.”
You have probably heard that something extraordinary is happening in the Catholic Church in France. The French bishops’ conference announced in April that more than 10,000 adults were due to be baptised in 2025 – a 45 per cent increase on the year before.

An Algerian woman who raped, tortured and killed a 12-year-old French schoolgirl has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Dahbia Benkired, 27, was handed the maximum possible penalty by a Paris court for the killing of Lola Daviet, making her the first woman to receive a full life term in France.
The week-long trial into the 2022 killing caused political outrage after Benkired was found to have overstayed a student visa and failed to comply with a notice to leave the country.
Wednesday evening, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s official X account posted an AI-generated campaign attack ad against his opponent in the New York City mayoral race, titled, “Criminals for Zohran Mamdani.” The video features several criminal characters endorsing Mamdani due to his proposed decriminalization policies: a domestic abuser bragging that a “kumbaya” social worker will show up instead of an officer; a smug shoplifter comforted by decriminalization laws; a drug dealer hailing the policies as open season; a sex trafficker revealing a van full of women and boasting of better business; and more. It ends with a protester burning an American flag and declaring, “Long live the intifada.”

An Islamic preacher who was banned from Britain earlier this year has now been barred from entering Canada for a planned countrywide speaking tour.
The preacher, Sheik Uthman ibn Farooq, was prohibited from entering the U.K. by the British government in May after it was reported he had said it would be permitted under Islamic law to have sex with females taken as captives in war.
