“Confess Your Crime in Writing”: The Persecution of Christians, January 2021

“Everything is affected… Your work, income, social status, identity, mental health, satisfaction with yourself, your life, your place in society, your independence…. And as a woman it’s even harder to remain patient and endure, in a society so opposed to women and femininity, though crying out for them both.” — Iranian Christian convert Fatemeh (Mary) Mohammadi, articleeighteen.com, January 21, 2021; Iran.

Raped and Murdered: Christian Girls in Pakistan

Raped and Murdered: Christian Girls in Pakistan

Keeping up with the abuse of Christian girls by Muslims in Pakistan has become exceedingly difficult. Hardly does one story of abduction, enslavement, rape, forced conversion, torture or murder appear, before another follows it — and another, and another. Although of course, needless to say, not all Muslim men regard non-Muslim girls and women this way, unfortunately many there still seem to. Some recent examples include:

The bloated bodies of two Christian sisters who had long rebuffed the advances of their Muslim employers, were found in a sewer in January 2021. Earlier, on November 26, the sisters, Sajida (28) and Abida (26), who were both married and had children, were reported as missing. The two Muslim men for whom they worked had regularly pressured them to convert to Islam and marry them. Even though the young women “made it clear that they were Christian and married, the men threatened them and kept harassing the sisters.”

“This Is a Warning to Christians in All Parts of the World”: The Persecution of Christians, December 2020

“This Is a Warning to Christians in All Parts of the World”: The Persecution of Christians, December 2020

The following are among the abuses inflicted on Christians by Muslims throughout the month of December, 2020:

The Slaughter of Christians

Nigeria: In a video that appeared on Dec. 29, Islamic terrorists executed five Christians. The footage shows five armed members of the Islamic State (West African province) standing behind five men dressed in orange suits, and on their knees with their arms tied behind their backs. The terrorists order each of the men to say their names and the hostages oblige, each adding, “I am a Christian.” One of the terrorists then says “This is a warning to Christians in all parts of the world and those in Nigeria…. Use the heads of these five of your brethren to continue with your ungodly celebrations,” a reference to Christmas. The five Muslims then open fire into the back of the Christians’ heads and kill them.

Muslim Rights Group Claims They’re The Real Victims After Nigeria Revealed Accountable For Nearly Half of All Murdered Christians World Wide Last Year

Christian Group Names Nigeria Hot Spot for Persecution

ABUJA – A report by the U.S-based Christian persecution monitoring group Open Doors shows the number of Christians killed in 2020 increased by 60%, mostly because of Islamic violence against Nigerian Christians.

The study says more than 2,200 of 4,761 Christians killed around the world in 2020 died in Nigeria because of radical Islamists.

…But Nigerian Muslim groups say the report is promoting a false impression.

“Nigerian Christians are not persecuted,” said Ishaq Akintola, director at Muslim Rights Concern. “What is happening in Nigeria is the persecutor crying out and claiming that he is being persecuted, claiming that he is the victim. And it’s because a Muslim is in power that the crying of persecution is so loud.”

‘We Will Squash Them’: The Persecution of Christians, November 2020

Indonesia: On Nov. 27, Islamic terrorists beheaded a Christian priest and killed three other Christians by slitting their throats in Lembantongoa village. During the raid, a Salvation Army church and six Christian homes were also torched. While acknowledging that an Islamic militant group was responsible, authorities claimed that the attack was not “religiously motivated.” One human rights researcher said that this “latest strike was a ‘clear escalation‘ of violence against Christians.”
