I bet a majority would say “Inspired”… Trudeau says Canadians ‘deeply disturbed’ by violence in Washington D.C.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said today that Canadians are “deeply disturbed and saddened” by the violent actions of Trump supporters in Washington D.C. and that democracy in the United States “must be upheld.”

“Violence will never succeed in overruling the will of the people. Democracy in the U.S. must be upheld — and it will be,” Trudeau said in a social media post this evening.

Earlier tonight, Trudeau told radio listeners tuning in to News 1130 in Vancouver that he was concerned by the violence erupting in Washington D.C. and was watching the “situation minute by minute as it unfolds.”

What keeps Trudeau from Sanctioning China for Human Rights Abuses?

At the start of the pandemic doctors and other Chinese citizens were reprimanded or legally punished for putting out any information on the pandemic that was not in line with the Chinese government’s narrative that it was under control.

This is a pattern of behaviour from the authoritarian Chinese government not likely to stop unless an outside force puts pressure on them to stop.

Of course, the UN Human Rights Office is not going to do anything substantial about China’s gross abuse of human rights seeing as they simply stated that they were “concerned” by the obvious move to silence those trying to get the truth about the virus to the public.

KNIGHT: Trudeau’s complete disregard for the taxpayer

Justin Trudeau has racked up the biggest deficit in Canadian history in a matter of two months. Our deficit is nearing $400 billion and our national debt is a whopping $1.4 trillion.

To make matters worse, there is no oversight and no accountability for this historical amount of spending. Even the Parliamentary Budget Officer has acknowledged that there is a lack of information available to the public.

PM Trudeau tops CTF’s naughty list; UCP party comes in second

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau topped the Canadian Taxpayers Federation 2020 Naughty List.

“Lying to Canadians and hiking the cost of heating our homes is a sure-fire way to land you on the Naughty List and the prime minister has achieved that in spectacular fashion,” said Aaron Wudrick, Federal Director of the CTF.

After promising not to increase taxes, Trudeau is more than tripling the carbon tax to $170 per tonne by 2030 and he’s also announced a second carbon tax.

Alberta’s United Conservative Party took the second top spot for taking the federal wage subsidy, a payment meant for struggling businesses.

Trudeau, ‘concerned’ about French in Quebec, signals he may be open to language law changes

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was briefly tossed the current political football of language laws earlier this week.

And while his answer may not have been exactly what Quebec Premier François Legault wanted to hear—unlike what new Conservative leader Erin O’Toole has said—it suggested that Ottawa is considering giving French some extra legal protection within Quebec.

Justin Trudeau was asked about Montreal’s Pornhub months ago. Now Ottawa is scrambling to find answers

A working group of MPs and senators looking at ways to combat human trafficking sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in March outlining concerns it had about videos being posted on Pornhub, the popular pornography website based in Montreal, and calling on the government to act.

In November the group wrote to federal Justice Minister David Lametti, making the same case.

Both letters went unanswered.

Budget watchdog blasts feds over lack of transparency in coronavirus recovery plan

Parliament’s budget watchdog is raising red flags over the lack of details in the Liberal government’s $100-billion stimulus plan, suggesting Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland’s phone is likely “ringing off the hook” from lobbyists wanting a piece of the action.

Trudeau PRAISES India farmer protests, while Canadians are FINED for protesting

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently spoke out in support of farmers protesting in India, further damaging international relations between Canada and the world’s largest democracy. India has suggested Trudeau was encouraging “extremist activities,” with the nation now set to skip a Canada-led coronavirus summit following the prime minister’s remarks.

Meanwhile, back in Trudeau’s “home and native land” protesters and churchgoers have been fined across the country, one of the most recent incidents involving a drive-in ceremony held by a Mennonite church in Steinbach, Manitoba where thousands of dollars in fines were dished out.
