Netflix saw cancellations spike after co-founder Reed Hastings said he was backing Kamala Harris.
Hastings, still serving as the streaming giant’s chairman and the face of the company, said he had donated $7 million to the Democratic candidate’s campaign as well.
The rate of cancellations – known as churn – nearly tripled in the US after Hastings’ endorsement on July 22, according to research firm Antenna.

A Democratic representative in a key battleground Senate race in Michigan told supporters she’s concerned about Kamala Harris’s chances in the state’s presidential election.
“I’m not feeling my best right now about where we are on Kamala Harris in a place like Michigan,” Elissa Slotkin said at a fundraiser earlier this month, according to Axios. “We have her underwater in our polling.”

The New York Times editorial board on Monday endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her “the only patriotic choice for president” while painting a grim picture of a second term for former President Donald Trump.

Kamala Harris has been telling voters what a tough prosecutor she was on criminals when she was in San Francisco and Sacramento as an elected official.
But the New York Post uncovered a different story involving a rotting corpse and a perpetrator who was part of a protected political interest group, whom she let off with the lightest of plea deals — just six years in prison, with most of it credit for time served.
It’s strange Tlaib won’t endorse her, because if elected, Kamala Harris will do everything the pro-Hamas people want. She’ll push for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, leaving Hamas still standing, able to regroup, and to recruit new members as it brags that it withstood “the mighty Zionist army.“ She’ll want to use American taxpayer dollars to “rebuild” Gaza so that the people there can enjoy the “independence” and “self-determination” and “security” that they “so rightly deserve.” And Harris will push for that will-o’-the-wisp “two-state solution” by pressuring Israel to agree to be squeezed back within the 1949 armistice lines — that Abba Eban famously described as the “lines of Auschwitz” — with a nine-mile-wide waist from Qalqilya to the sea.
After reading the tea leaves, the Harris-Walz campaign discovered that it was a problem that Kamala wasn’t doing interviews, and so they basically decided to put her out there and hope for the best.

Who is Kamala Harris?
Does she know? Does her campaign know? Are they ever going to settle on an answer?
It’s not a new phenomenon that politicians are fake. Usually, though, a candidate has achieved a steady state a month and a half before a national election — we know what he or she is, or pretends to be, and he or she has worked through various flip-flops long ago.
