Doug Ford Starts Backing Off Vaccine Mandates, And It Is Purely Political

Ontario Premier Doug Ford, likely seeing the terrible optics after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau implemented the Emergencies Act, has started backpedaling on vaccination as the way to end the restrictions in Ontario.

For over a year Ford has been pushing for mass vaccination as the only way for life to go back to normal in his province, while also standing firmly by Trudeau on his attacks on the Freedom Convoy and use of the Emergencies Act.

Suddenly after witnessing the terrible international media coverage of Trudeau’s use of emergency powers on the night of the 14th, Ford woke up the next morning and started questioning the logic of vaccination for stopping the spread of the virus.

A former senior civil servant alleged to have embezzled at least $11 million in COVID-19 relief money is now arguing the Ontario government is to blame for any losses it suffered.

In a statement of defence filed in Superior Court this week, Sanjay Madan blames the province for allegedly lax security measures that allowed “widespread misappropriation” of money intended to defray the cost of children learning at home.

Top Ontario doctors say “I just read whatever they write down for me”

Ontario’s two top doctors were caught discussing their announcements on a hot mic just prior to hosting a press conference on December 14.

“I don’t know why I bring all these papers, I never look at them” Ontario Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Barbara Yaffe says, referring to the stack of notes she brought along with her. “I just say whatever they write down for me,” Yaffe says with a chuckle.

“That’s funny. Yeah same,” replies Ontario’s top doctor and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams.
