I sat in the Washington office of a major airline’s head of government relations, where we were joined by the top lobbyist for one of America’s largest hotel chains. British constabularies are remarkably choosy about which crimes they deign to investigate these days. Working-class white girls are raped on an industrial scale, because raising objections might be considered distasteful; teachers spend their lives in hiding after blasphemous free speech lessons, and autistic children suffer death threats unopposed.
Rather than change their tactics, progressives change the language — as they’ve done so many times before.
