Six Trump voters on why they’re backing him in 2024

Donald Trump arrived in Washington as a political outsider in 2016, upending US politics, reshaping the Republican Party and engaging previously disengaged voters.

He became the first president to be convicted of a crime and still falsely claims the 2020 election was stolen from him.

But he continues to draw strong popular support on the issues that top voter concerns, such as the economy and immigration.

Six of his supporters explain his enduring appeal as he makes his third White House run.

Tlaib declines to endorse Harris at UAW rally in Detroit

Detroit — U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Detroit declined to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the presidency Friday at a United Auto Workers union rally as Democrats made a late appeal to get union voters to the polls.

Tlaib, one of few high-ranking Democrats who have not endorsed Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, was among the speakers for the UAW’s rally on the lawn of Solidarity House in Detroit. Tlaib, the only Palestinian American in Congress, has been critical of the Biden administration’s stance on Israel’s war on the militant group Hamas in Gaza following the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on southern Israel that killed mostly civilians.

Dead-heat poll results are astonishing – and improbable, these experts say

The US presidential election campaign enters its final weekend with polls showing Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in seemingly permanent deadlock and few clues as to which of them will prevail on Tuesday.

At the end of another unruly week that began with Trump’s racially charged rally in New York’s Madison Square Guardian and was punctuated by celebrity endorsements, misogynistic comments and insults about “garbage” being levelled left and right, the Guardian’s 10-day polling average tracker showed little change from seven days earlier, with voter loyalty to their chosen candidate appearing relatively impervious to campaign events, however seismic.

Nationally, Harris, the Democratic nominee, has a one-point advantage, 48% to 47%, over her Republican opponent, virtually identical to last week. Such an advantage is well with the margin of error of most polls.

Iraq’s Christians Pray for Trump

Unlike Biden’s Administration, Trump recognized and aided the persecuted Christian peoples of Iraq.

My visit to Iraq in 2016, right before the U.S. election which produced a Trump victory, was an enlightening experience. ISIS had driven out the Christian population of the region of the Nineveh Plain, where Jonah had preached, into Iraqi Kurdistan in 2014. The refugees were still in camps when I visited, as ISIS had not been defeated. The Christians in Nineveh—mainly Catholic and Orthodox Chaldeans and Syriacs—had lived there for 2,000 years, since disciples of Christ first brought the Christian faith to that land. These people were eager to return to their ancient home, even though it was later discovered that the radical Islamists had destroyed much of their specific culture, especially their churches and Christian imagery. Because of these catastrophes, the U.S. election was on everyone’s mind, even as they struggled to survive.

Trump has an edge in winning uncommitted voters. He should pursue it.

Recent poll data indicate that “swing voters” might be better described as “reluctant Trump voters.”

With Election Day just days away, the presidential race remains stubbornly tight but surprisingly fluid. According to the RealClearPolitics average on Wednesday, Donald Trump is leading in every swing state except Michigan and Wisconsin, but only within the margin of error. As of mid-October, as many as a quarter of voters in swing states said they had not made a firm decision.

Even at this late date, millions of persuadable swing-state votes remain up for grabs. Which raises the question: Who, exactly, are these voters who could end up determining the outcome of this election?

Trump ordered the overthrow of the Venezuelan Maduro regime in 2019 — and the CIA botched it -report

For the world’s crummiest anti-American dictators, sometimes it’s not just the art of the deal for them in relations with President Trump. The left has criticized Trump for talking to dictators for deals, but now it’s obvious that Trump as president was willing to do more than just talk.

Actually, Trump could play as hard and dirty as the dictators do — no deals, pal — and in his first term, he did.

Is Trump right to fear election fraud?

Cheating has never looked easier

When I visited Mar-a-Lago in spring 2021 to see Donald Trump, his aides asked me not to raise the matter of the 2020 election. They wanted him forward looking and optimistic, not grousing about a past defeat. I didn’t raise the issue, but Trump inevitably did. The obvious irregularities that marked the 2020 election was his main theme that afternoon — as it remained for the next three years.

Trump saw the manner of his election defeat as a personal affront. Not only was the pausing of the ballot count on election night an assault on the constitutional rights of Americans, feeding suspicions that illegal ballots were being added to the tally to boost Joe Biden — but it was Trump who was the mark. He was cheated, and so were you, he told the 74 million Americans who voted for him, and they, too, felt the sting of a public humiliation. As I explain in my new book, Disappearing the President, Trump and his supporters were disenfranchised together in front of the whole world.

Trump Allies Draw Up Plans Targeting Legal Immigration

WASHINGTON—On the campaign trail, Donald Trump routinely promises he will end illegal immigration. Behind the scenes, his closest advisers and allies are also drawing up plans that would restrict many forms of legal immigration, some of which could affect the ability of businesses to hire foreign workers.

Outside advisers including Stephen Miller, the architect of Trump’s immigration agenda when he was in the White House, and such groups as the America First Policy Institute have been preparing executive orders, regulations and memos for a future homeland security secretary to sign that would narrow legal ways to migrate. That is according to interviews with a dozen former Trump administration officials, a review of public plans published by the campaign, and outside groups aligned with the campaign.

Mass deportation is needed.

Nuremberg on the Hudson

Trump’s triumphant Madison Square Garden rally intensifies Nazi madness on the U.S. Left.

On Sunday at a brunch in Budapest, a Dutch colleague overheard two Americans fretting about the Washington Post’s decision not to endorse a presidential candidate this year. The woman griped about the scandal of this decision, and said the newspaper’s supposed capitulation to Trump makes it easier for authoritarians to take power. Her husband just mumbled assent, either because he agrees, or because he just wanted to eat his breakfast in peace.

The Glory of America After Trump Wins

Next week, we face a choice. It is a huge choice. A yuge choice, if you will. The ramifications are enormous. Historic. It’s easy to forget that we are watching history happen. When you read about the past, you read about about when LBJ quit or when JFK was shot. Those are historic moments written in the history books. And we are living through history now. We had both of those things happen again in just the last few months, a dropout and an assassination attempt, except they tried to kill Trump twice and they failed. For those of us who love history, it is remarkable that we are part of it. I remember overhearing command net radio calls during the Gulf War that I later read about in books. Savor it. You are part of forever just for being alive now. People will read about this election cycle for centuries to come, assuming there’s still an America.

Trump’s New York invasion exposed the MAGA madness powering him to victory

Forget the Madison Square Garden rally. On the streets outside, Donald Trump fans had energy. Kamala Harris’ were just joyless

The MAGA masses descended on New York City yesterday. They came in their thousands, a sea of red caps and fluttering Stars and Stripes.

For 24 hours, this gleaming citadel of East Coast liberalism fell to big men with beards and women in zip-up tops chanting “Kamala is dumb!”. It was some sight.

They were there to see the man himself, who was holding a rally at Madison Square Garden.

Trump supporters camping outside MSG — some as early as 10am Saturday — in anticipation of mega MAGA rally: ‘It’s worth the wait’

Dozens of die-hard Trump supporters who couldn’t wait to see their candidate Sunday night at Madison Square Garden started camping outside the venue Saturday to make sure they snag a seat.

As many as 100 Trump backers were lined up in lawn chairs just after midnight Sunday outside the famous arena — and some of them came as early as 10 am Saturday to a spot along 33rd Street and Sixth Avenues.

“We love Trump,” Patty Vitala told the Post, “I love Trump and it’s cold out but it’s worth the wait. We want to make sure we get in.”

Trump Explains How 2020 Was ‘Rigged, Robbed, And Stolen’ On Joe Rogan Podcast

Former President Donald Trump and podcast host Joe Rogan covered a lot of ground in a sprawling three-hour conversation released online Friday night, but they kept returning to election integrity issues.

They spoke several times about mail-in ballots and voter identification. The United States should return to all paper ballots, Trump said. When ballots go through the mail, things can get “messed up,” he said, adding that paper ballots are less expensive than voting machines.

Trump’s McDonald’s Stop Exposes Corporate Media’s Contempt For The Working Class

In predictable fashion, America’s morally and ethically bankrupt legacy media are melting down over former President Donald Trump’s visit to a McDonald’s franchise this past weekend.

The media-wide freak-out started shortly after the former president, donning an apron and his signature red tie, worked alongside McDonald’s staffers in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. While cooking french fries, Trump greeted customers at the drive-through and poked fun at Kamala Harris’ unsubstantiated claim she once worked at the popular fast-food chain.

Trump Pledges To Keep Men Out Of Women’s Sports: ‘We’re Not Gonna Let It Happen’

Former President Donald Trump pledged on Wednesday to keep trans-identifying men out of women’s sports if elected this November.

The moment came during a Fox News town hall with Georgia women voters moderated by Harris Faulkner, host of “The Faulkner Focus.” Trump was asked by an audience member named Linda about how he would approach the issue of men identifying as women competing in women’s sports leagues. The Georgia resident said she has nine grandchildren, six of whom are girls and play sports.
