High immigration is worsening Canada’s economic problems, says report

By overseeing one of the most dramatic immigration surges of modern times, Canada has cratered housing affordability, kneecapped productivity and concealed the true state of its economic growth, according to a new profile by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The OECD is a club of 38 countries that effectively comprise the developed world. Every two years, each member state receives a comprehensive “economic survey” prepared by OECD economists.

Canada is Banana Republic. I am not kidding. A criminal cabal is in charge.

Immigration was horribly abused by Politicians and Corporations to line their pockets at our expense.

It never made economic sense to flood Canada with unskilled 3rd World migrants.

It only ever made sense if your goal was to profit from the economic and social hardship caused by mass immigration.

I hope Trump invades.

National Citizens Coalition urges Blood Sucking Corporate Cheap Foreign Labour Parasites to ‘Hire Canadian’ as youth job market hits crisis point

The National Citizens Coalition is calling on Canadian employers to prioritize hiring domestic workers as youth unemployment reaches its highest level in two decades and immigration levels continue to surge.

Alexander Brown, communications director for the coalition, said federal inaction on immigration reform has worsened employment prospects for young Canadians, who are now facing the worst summer job market in a generation.

HUNTER: U.S. DOJ cleans house, booting killers and a ‘Canadian’ terrorist

The press release from the U.S. Department of Justice was terse. It was not self-congratulatory.

For a Canadian bombarded with daily examples of the insanity of our own justice and immigration systems, it was refreshing, even inspiring.

On second thought, it was depressing to think how staggeringly high the threshold is in Canada to boot arch-criminals, terrorists and their sympathizers.

Michael Bonner: It’s time to totally overhaul Canada’s immigration system

So many people want to immigrate to Canada that we can hardly accommodate them all. Our big cities feel cramped, social services are strained, and homeownership is increasingly out of reach for those below the age of 40.

But perhaps the surest proof of too many newcomers is this: 18 percent of all immigrants leave Canada within 25 years and don’t return. Surprisingly, half of those who leave are economic immigrants who were selected because they had skills that our country needs and because they had secured high-wage jobs before arriving here. This phenomenon was analyzed in a 2024 study by the Conference Board of Canada called “The Leaky Bucket.” The study concluded that so many immigrants leave because they have not formed a permanent economic or cultural attachment to Canada, they find better opportunities elsewhere, and the number of annual departures is growing.

THOMAS: Hopes of solving housing crisis fade as 817,000 immigrants arrive in Canada

It’s obvious the federal Liberals are not serious about solving Canada’s housing crisis.

Liberals embrace ‘governing-by-crisis’.

A crisis is a great way to get Canadians to pay attention to the Liberals’ policies and platforms. Once they have the attention of the electorate, they make massive promises to attack the ‘crisis’ with every weapon they can find, which usually is pissing away taxpayers’ dollars on ineffective programs.

The only thing Carney and his crony Mark Wiseman are interested in is turning Canada into a 3rd World Shithole state from which they will both profit handsomely.

Gov’t Shill On Tax Payer Teat Says Keep Immigration Coming! That 100 Million Target is A Swell Idea!

Keep Immigration Coming

I’ve spent my entire life moving around the country. I grew up in a military family, and continued the habit of moving every few years into adulthood. At this point, I’ve lived or worked in eight of Canada’s 10 largest cities and every province west of the Maritimes. As a public policy generalist, I similarly move from one file to the next, whether that’s economic policy in the Prairies, housing policy in Canada’s big cities or industrial policy all over. No matter which area I’m working on, immigration is part of the conversation— and with good reason.

Canada is well on pace to hit 100 million Canadians by 2100; that’s a positive thing. Population growth allows for greater economies of scale to tap our natural resources. It attracts the best and the brightest from around the world to spur innovation and cultural diversity. And one increasingly relevant upside is that rapid growth affords smaller countries some much-needed geopolitical heft. At 41 million people, Canada is still a relatively modest country in a highly unstable world (for now, at least). And with America becoming a less reliable partner, we’ll have to stand on our own two feet. Having more people would give us a lot more clout in a world where it’s easy for the large to push around the small.

This is the sort of propaganda that Carney and his pal Mark “!00 Million Unvetted Immigrants” Wiseman are producing to convince you that turning Canada into a 3rd World Shithole for their profit is a swell idea.

All paid for with your tax dollars as both the Institute for Research on Public Policy and Maclean’s Magazine are on the public teat.

Today’s immigration scam …

Canada sees surge in temporary foreign workers applying to escape abusive employers

The number of temporary foreign workers applying for open work permits to escape abusive employers has jumped more than 800 per cent year over year in Ontario, a surge advocates say highlights a growing crisis of abuse as immigration cuts and economic uncertainty deepen migrant workers’ vulnerability.

To address exploitation, the federal government in 2019 introduced the Vulnerable Worker Open Work Permit, allowing temporary foreign workers — whose status in Canada is tied to a single employer — to leave abusive jobs and apply for an open permit.

To qualify for one of these permits, migrant workers must show evidence of abuse.

You just know this push came from the lawyers.

Liberals allowing 1 million foreign students costly to Canadians: Report

Bank of Canada research shows that the federal Liberals’ decision to allow one million foreign students into the country had a “significant” impact in some employment sectors and cost Canadians job and wages.

The latest study confirmed a 2022 employment department report that foreign labour led to Canadian workers being replaced, per Blacklock’s Reporter.

Michael Bonner: We need an immigration policy that will serve all Canadians

Canadians deserve an immigration system that serves the national interest. This is exactly what we once had when most Canadians agreed with the economic and cultural arguments in favour of immigration.

For a long time, Canada avoided the sort of backlash seen in many places abroad. But the economic argument for immigration has collapsed during a time of stagnant wages, housing shortages and high youth unemployment. Likewise, cultural arguments about diversity and multiculturalism have given way to doubts about our ability to integrate newcomers.

The Liberal Party & their Corporate Cronies turned Canada into a 3rd World Shithole State to steal your jobs and depress wages

Canada increasingly dependent on low-wage migrant workers, says report

The share of native-born Canadians in the labour force has dropped nearly 10 percentage points since 2006, according to a new Bank of Canada report documenting how the country’s economy is becoming increasingly reliant on low-wage migrant workers.

What they’ve done is criminal.

John Robson: Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program Amounts to Slave Labour

Politics famously make for strange bedfellows. But what’s with the federal government and the temporary foreign worker program? How are these committed progressives working hand-in-glove with big business to exploit foreigners? And why aren’t we upset?

Arguably I don’t get out much. But lately when I do travel, short distances or long, I notice that nearly everyone I deal with in hotels, restaurants, etc., and half at the supermarket checkout, are here as slave labour. How’s that woke? Or tolerable?

Cutbacks to international students scam adding to university budget challenges

OTTAWA – Canadian universities are being forced to tighten their financial belts as they struggle with plummeting enrolment from international students who pay higher tuitions.

Universities Canada says “inadequate” provincial operating grants are also a factor in ongoing budget challenges for post-secondary institutions. President Gabriel Miller says tuition and fees from international student enrolment had provided a funding stopgap, but that is now being challenged due changing rules for international students, including a reduction in permits.

Cadets should be mandatory for young Canadian newcomers, says former honorary colonel

Canada should make it mandatory for young newcomers to join the cadet corps to learn more about this country’s history and values, says the former honorary colonel of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry.

“We have to get to a point where you have to serve the nation somehow, somewhere, sometime during your life,” said Donald Cranston, a senior investment counsellor with Fiera Capital, who just stepped down last week from the honorary military appointment.

That’s Racist!
