Canadian Unemployment Soars, Driven By Immigration More Than Tariffs

Canada’s economy was dealt another blow last month, and it wasn’t due to tariffs. Statistics Canada (Stat Can) data shows the unemployment rate climbed aggressively in May, hitting a new multi-year high. Despite the narrative of tariff-induced job losses, the country managed to add a few thousand jobs. Rising unemployment continues to be driven by an aggressive immigration strategy, which added four workers for every job last month.

‘Immigration is supposed to be a benefit… what’s happening here is making life worse for many Canadians.’

Canada is undergoing one of the most far-reaching demographic experiments in the Western world. In 2023 we admitted 1.25 million newcomers — a historic high — pushing our population past 40 million. Immigration now accounts for 98 percent of national population growth, driven by deliberate Liberal policy under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Despite growing public concern, the much-touted “cutbacks” Trudeau announced just before his departure in January set a target of 395,000 new permanent residents for 2025 — plus an astounding 673,000 temporary foreign workers, seasonal workers and international students. Pledges to “stabilize” population growth have done almost nothing, widening the gap between policy and public sentiment.

Manitoba wildfire evacuees transported to Niagara Falls, a city already teeming with shelter-seeking foreigners

… The mayor of Niagara Falls, Jim Diodati, said his city is proud to open its doors to other Canadians in their time of need. But he also said he’s frustrated no one from the federal government told him such an unprecedented influx of evacuees would arrive at the beginning of peak tourist season.

Niagara Falls, with its large stock of hotel rooms, is already hosting around 1,500 refugee claimants – who rely on social services, soup kitchens, food banks and local charities – under a temporary hotel housing system designed by Ottawa at a cost of $208 a day per person. There’s little economic benefit except for hotel owners in a town that has been built around tourism, he said.

UK gov’t anti-radicalisation programme labels concern over immigration “Terrorist Ideology”

Believing the West is under threat from mass migration has been classed as a “terrorist ideology” that could merit intervention from the government’s anti-radicalisation programme.

An online training course hosted on the government’s website for Prevent lists “cultural nationalism” as a belief that could lead to an individual being referred to the programme, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Staff taking the course were told that this encompasses a conviction that “western culture is under threat from mass migration and a lack of integration by certain ethnic and cultural groups”.

It’s called criminalizing dissent and the Liberal Party has engaged in it for the last decade. Got that you Islamophobes!

Quebec says it will drop permanent immigration targets to as low as 25,000 per year

MONTREAL — Quebec’s immigration minister says the government will drop its permanent immigration targets to as low as 25,000 people per year.

Jean-François Roberge says the government will study three scenarios of 25,000, 35,000 and 45,000 immigrants per year.

Currently, Quebec is projected to accept about 64,000 permanent immigrants in 2025.

Jamie Sarkonak: Carney’s border bill doesn’t go nearly far enough to curb immigration

Prime Minister Mark Carney’s first major piece of legislation certainly offers the appearance of change. Whether it will actually deliver, well, that’s less certain.

From afar, Bill C-2 seems to be a return to order. At 140 pages, it covers a lot of ground, proposing amendments to federal drug and immigration laws, as well as those covering the mail, the ocean and the chemicals that go into street drugs. Systemic and wide-ranging change seems to be the intent.

The Liberals will keep the immigration flood gates open.

Canada’s unemployment rate could reach 7.5% as Liberal Gov’t & Corporate Canada continue to massively abuse immigration

Canada’s unemployment rate could hit 7.5 per cent as more newcomers are admitted to the country than expected after the government made massive cuts last year to its immigrant targets, says a new report.

“Visa approvals for temporary residents have picked up, which suggests that, rather than contracting as the government previously outlined, the population will continue to grow this year,” Harry Chambers, an assistant economist at Capital Economics Ltd., said in a note. “This will keep upward pressure on labour force growth and we now expect the unemployment rate to peak at 7.5 per cent, rather than seven per cent.”

Citizenship by descent legislation: Liberal Party dreams up new way to cheapen Canadian citizenship & swamp the country with incompatible cultures

The federal government has tabled a new bill that would allow Canadians born abroad to pass citizenship by descent to children born overseas via a test to prove family ties to the country.

Bill C-3 is meant to satisfy a court order that has ruled the current two-generation cut-off provisions of the Citizenship Act is unconstitutional because it limits the automatic passage of citizenship to the first generation of Canadians who were born outside Canada.

“Citizenship is more than a legal status — it’s a profound connection to the values, history and spirit of Canada,” Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab said in statement on Thursday.

Sabrina Maddeaux: The U.K. Labour Party is finally doing something on immigration. Why can’t Canada?

Across the Atlantic, an unlikely beacon of hope has emerged for correcting Western immigration excesses: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who leads the U.K.’s centre-left Labour Party. This May, he announced sweeping new rules that should set a new standard for serious immigration reform regardless of political ideology.

In Canada, though most politicians will now admit we’ve massively messed up the immigration file, their vision for fixing the problem lacks clarity and sufficient ambition. Canadian leaders would be wise to take inspiration from Starmer’s immigration overhaul for an urgent made-in-Canada reset.

There’s a reason Muslims own our streets.

Their votes certainly count.

But there’s more.

Canada is run by criminals.

Our elites deliberately imported incompatible cultures as a divide and conquer tactic to ease the way for their mass immigration scam.

They criminalized citizens labeling them Racists and Islamophobes for objecting to having their country stolen from them.

This was done so our political class and our corporate class could exploit for personal gain the shortages created by the chaos of mass immigration.

The elites know they are guilty of a heinous crime.

The Jewish community is just collateral damage, an easy sacrifice to keep the Muslims and their useful idiots onside.

The elites will use the Mohammedans as their thugs while the Great Replacement continues apace.

Your replacement.

Jamie Sarkonak: Judge accuses cop of ‘unconscious’ anti-Black racism with ‘no direct evidence’

Justice Renu Mandhane is one of Ontario’s foremost judicial activists, so it should surprise no one that she’ll stoop to using racism as a basis to let Black men off the hook for possessing illegal guns.

That’s what happened at the end of March in the case of Robert Cameron, who had been pulled over and detained for having outstanding drug charges and a suspended license, and whose car, in the process, was discovered to be illegally housing an unlicensed firearm.

Ottawa under fire for withholding deportation data amid immigration concerns

The federal government is refusing to release figures on how many undocumented immigrants remain in Canada, sparking criticism from opposition MPs and reigniting debate over immigration policy and capacity.

Conservative MP Michelle Rempel Garner (Calgary Nose Hill) called for a national deportation strategy in the House of Commons, blaming the Liberal government for overwhelming Canada’s infrastructure.

Politicians have their heads in the sand about immigration’s irreversible damages

A new report published by the Centre for Heterodox Social Science has underscored the reality of significant demographic change in modern Britain. Authored by Matthew Goodwin, the research projects that the white-British ethnic majority will become a minority within the next four decades and could fall as low as a third of the UK’s population by the end of the century.

By 2100, the analysis predicts that three in five people will be non-white. Currently standing in the region of seven per cent, the Muslim proportion of the UK’s population could increase to eleven percent by 2050 and as high as one-fifth of it by the 22nd century.

Remember folks! The Great Replacement is just a right wing conspiracy theory!

Class action bid launched on behalf of refugees denied access to Toronto shelters

Two law firms and a legal clinic have filed a proposal for a multimillion-dollar class action lawsuit against the city on behalf of all refugee claimants who were denied access to shelter system beds between November 2022 and October 2023.

Acting on behalf of Wasiu Adekanmbi, a 40 year-old Nigerian refugee claimant, in a statement of claim filed last Friday, Black Legal Action Centre (BLAC), Lewis Litigation PC and Steiber Berlach LLP argue that the city preventing refugee claimants from accessing municipal shelter beds constituted a violation of Charter rights and freedoms, the Ontario Human Rights Code and amounts to “systemic negligence.”

Send them home.

Things to come …

Toronto, soon …

Feral Cities

Western governments under increasing structural civilisational distress and having squandered their legitimacy are losing the ability to peacefully manage multicultural societies that are terminally fractured by ethnic identity politics. The initial result is an accelerating descent of multiple major cities into marginally ‘feral’ status as defined by Richard Norton in a 2003 essay in this way:

…a metropolis with a population of more than a million people in a state the government of which has lost the ability to maintain the rule of law within the city’s boundaries yet remains a functioning actor in the greater international system.
