Canada is disintegrating: ‘There is no core identity, there is no mainstream’

What happens in a country without cultural conservatism? Look no further than Canada, where the national identity is disintegrating.

In 2015, soon after taking office, the new Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gushed to a fawning New York Times that, “There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada. There are shared values – openness, respect, compassion, willingness to work hard, to be there for each other – but there is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada.”

This was Trudeau’s plan – destroying Canada was his WEF Wet Dream.

Anyone advocating for mass immigration, multiculturalism, or diversity should be in shackles.

How Canada soured on immigration

For decades, Canada has cast itself as a country open to newcomers, with immigration policies tailored to boost its population, fill labour gaps and settle refugees fleeing conflict from around the world.

But in recent months, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said he intends to significantly cut the number of immigrants allowed in Canada as public concern grows over inaccessible social services, high costs of living and unaffordable housing.

It is a major shift for both the country and Trudeau, who ran in 2015 on a platform of embracing multiculturalism as a key part of Canadian identity.

Trudeau sees 3rd world migrants from cultures incompatible with Canadian values as the future of the Liberal party.

These cuts are cosmetic and the abuse will continue.

Jesse Kline: Toronto Star paints a skewed picture of Trudeau’s immigration cuts

Reporter claims ‘Canada is relinquishing its welcome mat,’ when in fact we are returning to pre-pandemic levels

In 2017, when our fresh-faced prime minister was still under the mistaken impression that incessant virtue-signalling was a reasonable way to run a country, Justin Trudeau issued a proclamation to the world’s huddled masses: “To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada.” Canada, in other words, was instituting an open-door immigration policy, in contrast to the United States, where president Donald Trump had just signed an executive order intended to curb Muslim immigration.

John Ivison: Red flags all over Trudeau’s flawed plan to curb runaway immigration

When circumstances warrant, the prime minister deserves to be praised — if faintly.

He has been roundly criticized —not least by members of his own caucus — for not listening, and for digging in when it is clear that the government needs to retreat.

Yet on Thursday, he unveiled a new immigration plan that cut the number of newcomers by one-fifth in response to criticism from across the country that the flood of arrivals in recent years has been too dramatic for the housing, education and health-care systems to absorb.

Business community laments loss of means to depress wages & reap profits from shortages associated with mass import of cheap foreign labour reports CBC

Immigration prevented a recession last year, but looming changes could stall growth: economists

Reducing the number of new admissions to the country could have negative consequences for the economy and pose challenges for commerce, according to business advocates and economists alike.

Economic measures such as the gross domestic product (GDP) have been moving in a positive direction, economists say, in part because Canada’s population has continued to increase due to rising immigration levels.

Statistics Canada reported in March that the country’s population grew in 2023 by about 1.3 million, and 97.6 per cent of that growth was the result of immigration.

Canada to ‘Significantly Reduce’ Immigration as Trudeau Caves to Public Pressure

Canada plans to “significantly reduce” the number of immigrants it allows into the country over the next two years, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reverses course amid falling public support for immigration.

Canada previously set a target of 500,000 new permanent residents in 2025. Under the new immigration plan, Canada will decrease that target by 21 percent, to 395,000. After 2025, the limit will shrink by roughly 4 percent each year as the government looks to set a target of 365,000 new permanent residents by 2027.

Poilievre not buying Trudeau’s ‘about-face’ on immigration

Tory leader Pierre Poilievre told reporters the Trudeau Liberals’ Thursday morning immigration announcement was a desperate attempt to gain support ahead of the next election.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Immigration Minister Marc Miller this morning announced an immigration cap, with 2025 quotas for 2025 falling from 500,000 to 395,000. Trudeau also confirmed he has every intention to stay on as prime minister and leader of the Liberal party.

Liberals Put Band-Aid On Gaping Axe Wound They Inflicted: Canada will slash 2025 target for permanent residents by 21 per cent

Ottawa is going to slash the number of new permanent residents welcomed to the country by 21 per cent to 395,000 next year amid a growing sentiment among Canadians that there’s too much immigration.

Last November, in response to the affordable housing crisis and rising cost of living, Immigration Minister Marc Miller put a brake on further increases of the permanent resident numbers and set a target of 500,000 for 2025 and 2026.

The damage is done. Housing crisis, depressed wages, depressed GDP, inaccessible public services, social strife from incompatible cultures, all this will be Trudeau’s legacy.

It will take years for Canada to dig itself out of the mess Trudeau’s Liberal Party created. I am doubtful it can.

Trudeau government claims it’s going to slash immigration levels …

OTTAWA — The Trudeau government will announce a dramatic immigration cut Thursday, reducing new permanent resident numbers by almost 100,000 in 2025 after years of consecutive increases to the country’s immigration targets.

Barring any last-minute changes, information obtained by National Post shows the government is planning to decrease permanent resident intake from 485,000 this year to 395,000 in 2025. It is then expecting to further cut intake to 380,000 in 2026 and 365,000 in 2027.

These so called cuts are Bullshit given the damage done and the numbers here already.

They’ll find some other program to juice migrant intake and pretend it accidentally got away when found out.

Newcomers owe it to Canada to reject extremism

What do Canadians — permanent residents and citizens — owe to Canada regarding the politics of the “old country” conducted here?

With the astonishing allegations of criminal activity, including extortion and homicide — “well over a dozen credible and imminent threats to life” — made against the government of India by the RCMP, long-standing issues in Canada’s Sikh community were brought into the spotlight. But diaspora politics is a bigger challenge than any one community, as this past week also highlighted in regard to foreign interference by China.

That will depend on where the “newcomers” hail from.

Canada is a case study illustrating the import of incompatible cultures that have no connection to our heritage and traditions is a recipe for disaster.

Do not vote for those who wish to replace you.

Defending yourself and your family’s best interests does not make you a racist.

Israel, Churchill and why we’re still obsessed with WW II

“… Post-War liberalism unilaterally disarmed Europe of the right to exercise an in-group preference for respective countries’ cultures, histories, and peoples. It compelled us to treat everyone with the false anthropology of the Blank Slate: as if all cultural, geographical, and biological differences are inconsequential, and easily remedied by technocrats turning the dials of education and economic opportunity. Liberalism is recalcitrant to recognise how involuntary factors — like ethnic and cultural heritage — may influence one’s likelihood of buying into a civilization’s story. It has, paradoxically, placed upon Europe the burden of unique, non-expungable guilt for past atrocities, thinning out its history to a list of grievances requiring recompense. Such optimism is the furthest thing from Nazi racial determinism; but sacrifices the ability to stake a claim in any one conception of the good. Liberalism is, as James Burnham said, “the ideology of Western suicide”.

This is a long and at times dense read but worth your while as it touches on the ills of multiculturalism, mass immigration, minority grievance culture, cultural relativism and all the other crap that has turned western nations into borderline 3rd world shitholes.

1 in 2 Canadians Say Immigration Is Harming the Nation, Up 10 Points Since Last Year. What’s Changed?

From October 3 to 9, 2024, Abacus Data conducted a national survey of 1,915 Canadian adults (18+) to gauge their perspectives on immigration and its perceived impacts.

The results reveal a significant shift in sentiment, with a majority now viewing immigration negatively, largely influenced by political affiliations and age.

Concerns extend beyond newcomers, as many Canadians also express concern about domestic migration exacerbating housing shortages and straining public resources and services.

Concerns of ‘hateful racism’ after Ontario man’s video of woman ranting about people from India goes viral

A Waterloo, Ont., man is speaking out after his video of a woman ranting about the South Asian community went viral.

Ashwin Annamalai said he used his cellphone to record the woman after she gave him the middle finger, an action he said was unprovoked, while he was out for a walk on Tuesday evening.

Annamalai said that after he confronted the woman to ask what he had done to deserve the gesture, she went on about how Indian people are invading Canada.

He is a former “international student” who seems locked on to the diversity gravy train.

A little late given our cities are now 3rd World shitholes

Clear majority of Canadians now say there’s too much immigration

For the first time in a quarter-century, a long-term tracking poll has found a clear majority of Canadians believe the country has accepted too many immigrants.

According to the results of the survey released on Thursday, 58 per cent Canadians said there’s too much immigration, up from 44 per cent in 2023 and 27 per cent in 2022.

The responses continue a trend since 2022, after years of a pro-immigration consensus.

We did not “accept” anything. The Trudeau government and the Business class dumped them on us so they could benefit from the economic and social chaos that has ensued.
